Liberty Tax & Loans State St, Bristol

We have used another tax service for a long time, for some reason our return this year was only $500. Which I knew was not right, I may not be very smart in the tax field but with further investigation, I was right. I called and spoke to Jennifer at liberty. Told her what the lady at the office said and she even said that’s not right. Went in with out an appointment, they took very good care of us. Definitely highly recommend! Mary is who took care of us and when she told me what the refund was, I was able to breathe.

I'm proud to manage this location and enjoy getting my customers the biggest refund possible. We strive to provide excellent customer service with a smile.

Highly recommend THIS office, maybe not the others. But Geisha was professional and patient with me when trying to figure out my taxes I had done. The Supervisor that had done my taxes was great and quick! IRS were the ones taking their darn sweet time. If it weren't for this office doing what they're paid to do. I would have never gotten my stimulus figured out. Thanks LIBERTY!

NEVER file your taxes with Liberty Tax at ANY location. They charged me $501 to file my 2016 taxes, plus an amendment for 2015, which they never actually filed. This year when trying to get the issue resolved I was told that it was a mistake on their part and they would rectify it (from 2 different employees including the one that I worked with last year) but suddenly they cannot find the files. They claim the $501 that I paid was to file my standard income taxes. $501?! I also called and spoke with the corporate office, whom was rude and did not let me speak more than 4 words before abruptly hanging up the phone. Learn from my mistake these people are crooks!!! **UPDATE** I saw a really CPA today to get this mess straightened out (not employees by liberty tax of course) and the 2016 return that they are so proud of to charge $501 for was not even filed correctly.

My preparer was Jennifer Penix and she was fast, extremely knowledgeable and helpful and she just made the entire process so easy.

They seem to be a little cheaper now. They are very good at what they do. Also, very helpful and makes it convenient if you have a busy schedule.

I sent two people and never received my referral money. Just kept getting one excuse after another!
