I have had nothing but positive dealings since I began to come to Liberty Savings Bank - and particularly the Wildwood branch. The entire staff has been courteous and professional. I would like to thank Elizabeth for going above and beyond explaining options I had. Makes me want to move more of my accounts to Liberty Savings Bank.

I am disappointed with the fees they charge. I opened what I was told was a free, interest-bearing checking account with a minimum balance of only $.01. My intent was to gradually transfer additional funds into this account as I closed out some other accounts at other banks. Because of Covid, my plans went on hold last year so I did not use this account as quickly as anticipated but I kept it open as I knew eventually I would use it. I was preparing a large transfer into this account when I notice the balance was off. I found that they had been charging me $15 every month for NOT using the account. That really adds up quickly! Admittedly, I was not reviewing my monthly statement as I wasn’t using the account yet and didn't anticipate a balance change so that’s on me but, I never imagined I was being feed so heavily. As mentioned, I have accounts in multiple other banks. I have never been charged a dormancy fee before this in my life. Frankly, I don’t pay people to hold my money no matter how much it is, they pay me. I closed all my accounts and went to a bank that appreciates my business and agreed not to fee me if the account sets dormant for a while. FYI, there are plenty of them in town. Caveat emptor (Let the buyer beware)

Liberty Savings has just come through for me again. Thank you to Jackie, Lauren, and the rest of the Wildewood team! My wife and I have enjoyed having accounts through the Wildewood branch for more than twenty years now. We have had several accounts over the years, but the Wildewood team provides such wonderful personalized service that we can't imagine going anywhere else for our banking needs. We're small bank people, and came to Liberty in an era of mergers and acquisitions that found our small banks being sucked up into impersonal fee-mills called First Union; NationsBank; and Bank of America. Liberty Savings provides us the services and benefits that we need with the feeling that we are dealing with home-town folks and not just a multinational corporate entity. Liberty Savings has been helpful to us in other places as well, not just on the Suncoast. We have used Liberty's previous offices in Ohio as well. My only concerns with Liberty Savings Bank is the decrease in numbers of branches; going from three local branches to one was a little inconvenient. I know we are in an age of digital banking, but my wife and I still prefer the personal approach, where I can go in or call up and speak to someone I know about my accounts. Bottom Line: I love my bank, and the Wildewood staff is the best of the best! I'd love to see Liberty begin moving the other way and open more branches in the Bradenton or Lakewood Ranch areas. I'd also hate to see anything happen to the Wildewood branch. Way south Sarasota and Venice are too far away to comfortably maintain a relationship with those branches. -S. Koci, Bradenton FL

There have been many faces that have come and gone over the years all of who I would consider special. The entire staff have always gone above and beyond for me many times. The staff at this branch are the warmest, friendliest people that I have ever done business with. They provide a welcoming atmosphere and patiently give attention to my banking needs, no matter how small. I especially welcomed the knowledge they recently shared on how to protect myself from card scammers.
