I'm giving you a 5 start rating because your employee Chelsea! She is so kind and welcoming and helpful. I think she deserves some recognition for being a great employee and in my opinion makes the whole pawn experience in buying, selling, or loaning a more positive experience.

Employees are knowledgeable about what they have. They keep the store very clean and they have the best prices for items. Definitely will go back to them if I need anything.

They worked with me on price, then placed my purchase in a box, and gift wrapped it because I told them it was a Gift. Really nice people

Brought a few things in to borrow money. Granted my payment was a little late, so I expected fees. They charged me over 100$ more and in no time had everything on the shelves for sale, although I had always come through on previous deals and always paid. I wasn’t even 90 days late… and on top of all that they lost my laptop case and argued with me saying I never had one. I know what I brought in and I definitely had the laptop in the case. They lost my items and argued with me about what I had… sounds like super customer service doesn’t it? And now my laptop is all scratched up. I would avoid this place now.

As you go through life and experience different jobs and career paths, ups and downs of life. People and places become important memories or staples in your heart. One of those places is Liberty Pawn & Gold before I ever worked for the Munsee's they were there to help my family, extending thier hearts when they didn't know me from the next customer, so I became a loyal customer and shopped and pawned there frequently. They changed my mind on the pawn business entirely and all those old stigmas went out the door with a swift kick from Mrs. Munsee. (And if ya ever met her you know what I mean lol) then I became an employee and still to this day it is/was by far my favorite job. When I had a stroke and was out of work for awhile they held my position, sent me an amazing food basket and every single employee at each store sent me messages to get well and continued to check in. They became a second family. Joshua Ratliff Anna and her husband Andrew, the Shane's (lol) brenton, Kevin and even the newer employees are still so welcoming. I purchased a laptop there a few years before I moved to Texas in 2019 and about 8 months ago I started having issues. I posted on my personal page asking of anyone knew of a place or person who could take a look at it for me without costing me an arm and a leg and within about an hour Joshua Ratliff messaged me telling me to send it back to him. Within an hour and a half of RECEIVING my laptop he figured out what the problem was and it's on its way to being back to working condition... words, actions and money can NOT express my gratitude in knowing my belongings are in great hands. So to Dave, Tammy, Josh, Anna, Andrew, John,Shane, Brenton, Kevin and yes you too Carl as well as all past and future employees of Liberty Pawn and gold in Fredericksburg, va. Thank you for being the most trustworthy, honest and gracious people I have ever come to know. You All mean the world to me and I can't wait to come back and see you all!

I was in a tough spot and needed some money fast. I googled the other reviews on best pawn shop for guns. I took what I had in to be pawned and they seriously gave me a good price! I was so pleased with their services and friendliness of the employees. They didn't look at me like I was just another female that they could pull one over on! The gentleman that helped was very kind and helpful!! The next time I needed to use a pawn shop, there was no doubt about it, I was going back to them. I was helped by the same man and he even showed me the comparison on the computer screen! I was shocked, because no one had done that before anywhere else. No low-balling from this company! Definitely giving them 5 stars and recommend them for those that need it!

Casey was so kind! I've never sold anything at a pawn shop before and he made it very easy. And I feel that I got a good price for what I was selling. The cute little bracelets they have are a plus!

I love these folks. Great local pawnbroker that wants to offer great things at a fair price. Parking is good and the hours are great. I love the selection and variety of merchandise. If your looking to pawn or sell I would definitely try these folks out.
