    Client had to go to 2 different banks in KC and still no one was able to write a check to close account . Multiple calls were made to try to help our client and to top it off they would not let them use the bathroom. They have been with this bank for years. I would recommend that you stay clear of this bank. Take you money and run.

    Been banking here for 3 years. Everything was fine up until a week or so ago. I am very disappointed with the service my husband and I have been receiving! The mobile app has been very inaccurate and when customer service was contacted they were not very knowledgeable about how to handle my situation. The lady instead of looking into the issue placed blame on the businesses I made purchases as well as assuming I had no funds to make my purchases! That was a complete insult! We tried to support black business and it's sad to say .... You can't always support black businesses. For some reason they almost always let you down in some way. Will be finding another bank and closing all accounts. Others BEWARE.

    Black owned no smiling faces no greets just cold looks and stares but when i go bank with my husband every woman is in his face holding a conversation while no words are said to me and we both have an accoynt im closing today no debit cards issued have to go all way to bank when i live far away i support another blacknowned business with positive vibes

    Walked in and no one to greet you, ask if they could help, nothing! Stood there for about 5 minutes and turned and walked out. I'll put my money somewhere else. Was it because I am white??

    Been banking here for a few years and have not had any serious issues. My only complaint would be the fact that the Troost location currently only allows access to the ATM during bank operating hours. Other than that I've had a pleasant experience and look forward to banking with them for years to come

    They won't allow you to cash a check and receive money back. They require a 2 day hold on all checks. They wouldn't even allow me to cash an $80 check I received. I'm going back to banking with a Credit Union that allows me to cash checks without holding them for 2 business days.
