If you're looking to pawn or sell your old stuff DO NOT go here. I used to love going here and doing business with them but since they got a new manager, I hate even trying to sell anything. I don't know where that woman thinks she works but you ain't pawn stars. You don't know what anything is or what it's worth. Who exactly do you think is going to be bringing in brand new appliances and stuff. You're a pawn shop people bring you stuff that they have at home that they probably had for a while. They turn down almost everything except tools and tvs.

They are very friendly and have fair prices whether you're buying, pawning,or selling.

My Fiance tried to walk in 10 minutes before 10 and they said it wasn't 10 yet so we waited. 1 minute till, mind you in the POURING RAIN! IT WAS EXACTLY 9:59 AND THEY WOULDN'T OPEN THE DOORS!! So we waited 3 more minutes and by this time is was almost 10:05 and refused to open the door He approaches the door again to be IGNORED! A young black man walks to the door and they open it almost immediately! ( I'm not saying anything because of the black man because he didn't nothing at all. It was just very rude!!!) We will not ever be coming back to your establishment ever again nor will anyone we know!!!!

HORRIBLE experience, most UN friendly service I've ever experienced. Freda was so NASTY and RUDE and I have been coming here for years . Hate to say but she was over friendly to all the black people that came in Again , HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. AND robbed me in a hard time by offering me $200 for a $900 hp touch screen computer. I wouldn't send anyone here thats for certain

One star was the lowest option it gave me. That’s the only reason I even gave one star. Was just in there for 15 minutes. Four employees. Doing nothing. Except for one guy eating. No one offered to help us. Absolutely pathetic.

Soo nice and do not rush you in and out. Allow you to look and see what they have. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

I've been a regular at this store for years Both buying and selling/pawning. I did NOT like ths previous manager as she was rude and obnoxious and very hostile. Not a good fit for a buisness dealing with the public, and more often than not, dealing with those who are not in the best spot and need help pawning their items for necessities. Anyway...she has moved on from this store and I was hoping to leave a glowing review about the rest of the staff (...who tbh are truly genuine and helpful ) and the store. But nope. They started a new layaway policy that is shameful. They dont just take a portion of the the layaway funds you have paid on your items if you choose to cancel. They take a minimum of 35% of the TOTAL FULL PRICE as a restocking fee. This means the restocking fee can equal MORE than you even put back on the item to have it placed on layaway. I was just denied 1 cent back from 2 layaways I was having to cancel. Just stole the entirety of that money from me on what grounds?? I understand taking a small fee ...but not 100% of the downpayment. Talk about having no understanding for their customers or the real struggles people are facing today. It is appealing and they should be ashamed of this new policy and for the lack of human decency it takes to back it. I urge others not to use this location. Low ball offers and stealing money they haven't done a thing to earn. Your better off at one of the many other shops in town.

Since they got rid of the old manager ( she was very rude/mean ) and hired this new one earlier this year, the place is nice to go to once more. They give best prices in town. New staff are nice

The things they have are nice, pretty good prices too, but in regard to jewelry, nothing impressice. They had a very mediocre supply of cheap looking Diamond chip jewelry, nothing of any substantial size... every piece of jewelry they had in the store should not have been sold for more than $50 each at most. On the upside,they have a wonderful selection of tools, again with wonderful prices. The store would flourish in this area If they would pull more merchandise in (things of actual value, not just tvs, etc.), organize what is already there, and liquidate all the junky things, this would be a great little place. I unfortunately visited the rival pawn shop competitor in Uptown Greenwood today, and believe me when I say that Lakelands Pawn and Gun beat them HANDS DOWN.
