La Capitol Federal Credit Union O'neal Ln, Baton Rouge

This credit union has been the most difficult and complicated bank I’ve ever dealt with. It’s as if they don’t even want to do business and you can forget about getting any kind of customer service. 0 out of 10. Would not recommend

Went into this branch today and had a horrible experience. Long story short I spoke with Anthony Ducote about opening up and account and he made up every excuse to get me out of there because he didn't want to do his Job. He mentioned 2 employees were out because of covid, its been a long day, and that the process will take up to a hour. Not to mention the lobby and drive through was clear no costumers but me. If you don't want to do your job stay home next time or be careful of what you are applying for that was honestly ridiculous. I'll try my luck at another branch as he mention as well, I do not want someone that lazy work with my account anyway.

Staff made everything easy and quick. A while back they really went out of their way to help a friend's grandson get his first car loan too. Nice to see.

This credit union has made it extremely hard for those of us who have fallen on hard times. No one is perfect and when given the opportunity to pay them, Nancy with collections, still made it extremely difficult to resolve the issues. She talked to me as if I was scum from beneath the earth. I struggle with depression and she has truly not helped the situation. I just want to pay the amount that is due and no one but Nancy can help me and she will not even answer the phone or return my calls.

Great service and the people are wonderful! They really care about my needs and go out of their way to help me out!

I’ve been using shared banking here for 7 years. The teller Jody denied my transaction because my license number didn’t match BUT everything else matched. She was the 1st teller to ever tell me this. I called my bank and they told me she could make the transfer because everything else matched. I went to another La Capitol and had absolutely no problems making my transaction. I will stop doing my banking business at the O’Neal location due to incompetent workers like Jody! Don’t be like Jody! Just for more verification I called La Capitols 1800# like she insisted and explained the situation to them and asked could I use my passport (which doesn’t have a license # or address on it only my name) to make shared banking transactions and she said yes I could! I then asked so they could have completed my transaction with my license even though the license number didn’t match && again she said Jody should have completed my transaction simply because there were other ways she could have verified. Again don’t be like Jody !

LaCap is a credit union service center with great lications.

Tried using this bank for over 7 years and they treated me like trash the last 4. The passed year has been horrible, they've frozen my account over false accusations of forged checks. This happened while I was abroad and using only my debit card. And before than Jane the branch manager is refusing to help me with my problem and they closed my account without letting me know at a negative balance hurting my credit rating. Please if you want.a painless credit union move along.

The staff at La Capitol are always so pleasant and helpful! I've been a member for years! Highly recommended!
