Denied thier own Power of Attorney forms that were notarized in thier own office and almost costs us thousands of dollars when we were buying our house. Also said they would try to get back to us within 24hrs and didn't actually call us until three days later. They called to deny the form and hung up when I told them they were wrong about what powers the form explicitly gave. I would not suggest using this service as it is an exercise in futility. I can understand wanting to protect your clients but it shouldn't completely hobble your services.

Wow, this place has to be the weirdest and most ineffective business model ever. I went in to cash one of their members checks since the check written to me was very suspect looking and they wouldn't verify if the account was legitimate over the phone. So, I went in to their montgomery branch and I couldn't beleive what I saw. 4 women sitting behind a counter doing absolutely nothing, and ALL the actual tellers conducting banking business were behind a wall completely invisible to any member and there was a small TV screen showing CNN, a phone and the plastic container to shoot through to the teller, which is what you would do through the drive thru teller. I complied with this odd process only to then see some creepy looking young man wearing makeup like a drag queen, and I assumed since these people weren't present in the building then how would they be able to receive the plastic container containing my check and ID. They said they were on the other side and could conduct the transaction. I instantly thought to myself "if you're on the other side of the wall then why don't you just have tellers present behind safety glass? Right? Then things got bazaar. The young transvestite then asked if I was a member, and I replied "No, but your member wrote me a check and i'm here to cash it" He then told me there would be a $3 charge for being a non-member. I said no thanks, just return the check and i'll take my chances with depositing it. He started to question my legitimacy and said it wasn't CU policy to allow non members to try and cash a check and not pay the $3 charge, and I responded with " i don't care about your policy and freedom allows me to make a choice whether or not I want to pay or not" "now, please send me back my check and ID or i'll call the police" He argued with "on what charge?" I retorted with "how about extortion and theft of my personal property" "GIVE ME BACK MY ID AND CHECK NOW!!!" after he and his cheesy bank made me lose my temper. They finally released my property and on my way out,, I asked the 4 women why they were even there, and they said "for safety" I let out an involuntary burst of laughter at the sight of these 4 obese, lethargic and unarmed women being the CU source of security. I'm also wondering if the whole place was just an elaborate gag. If so, well done. If not, then this place should be shut down ASAP.

$3.00 non member check cashing fee, its a Kirtland federal check. The teller didn't even provide a transaction receipt, this place is a joke would rate 0 starts if possible

We have banked with Kirtland FCU for over 23 years and have always found their people friendly and helpful and all their rates and fees extremely reasonable, like the notary service is only $2.00.

Had a bad experience though since they've been amazing and am happy to bank here.

I have a kids account there, and they give me money on my birthday. I can get my coins counted and deposited in my account for free! After I make some deposits, they let me have a prize, like a movie ticket. I like the sound the tube makes when it swooshes to the teller.

Horrible service, hate coming to this branch. So impersonal, only one teller to run the drive thru and members waiting inside. All automated. Two ladies sitting at the front desk doing nothing but greeting people walking in. Wait times always exceed 20-30 minutes. Never coming to this branch again. The others are great. This one needs to get it together.

For 25 years I have ben so pleased with them . Suddenly they have no employees and I can't transfer three checks for less than 100 bucks from 2 people that have been customers forever.

Love this place and everything about it. Always get the help I need and the staff make that possible, very kind.
