This is one of the best dealerships I’ve had to work with. Our salesman Frank was very knowledgeable on cars so understood our hesitancies with the general wear and tear of the car that needed to be replaced once bought on top of the selling price. Best car buying experience ever in 20 years I’ve never seen a group of professionals willing to make a trade or a deal they work with you and they are very very friendly they make you feel like you home and very comfortable at first I was really nervous but in a minute out of that they offer me coffee and everything went according to how I plan better than I thought. Michael was my salesman he’s very professional very friendly and capable individual, he knows his stuff. Also the general manager is it good guide to make a deal with.

Of all the dealerships I have dealt with, KIA of Riverdale has been great. They were easy to deal with, was able to complete my negotiations with a few quick easy texts with the sales rep there and came from Boston to pick it up without ANY issues! It was quick, painless, easy negotiation. They have their act together unlike a lot of other dealers I have dealt with, even though I am in Boston I will deal with this dealer again in the future!

When you come to Kia of Riverdale you need to ask for Daniel F. He was hands down the best car sales man that I have ever dealt with. He was patient, non-pushy, extremely knowledgeable, and polite. I initially came in to wait for my husbands car to get serviced and ended up upgrading my car from a Forte to a K5. One of the best dealerships I have been to in a long time. I worked with Jeremy Torres. It was literally seamless.. Honest and up front from the start, I was looking for a brand new vehicle and this was the only dealership that had cars available and cars on order. Jeremy was knowledgeable and to the point. Never once tried to push me into something I didn't want or persuade me into buying something more expensive. I went to another Kia before this one and it was an absolute disaster. This Kia dealership is definitely customer friendly. Sure they want to sell a car but it wasn't the hard sell. They worked with me on exactly what I wanted to do. Gave me a fair price on a new lease. Everyone in the dealership very friendly. They simplified the entire process was done and in my car before I knew it. Free oil changes the first year. Very different experience all the way around. Definitely five star rating for this dealership.

Was looking for a Forte GT for a few weeks and they immediately let us know when they took inventory of the car and sold it too us that day with great service. Stanley was a great/nice salesman to deal with. The reason for 4 stars not 5 is the markup price placed on the car being a little high.

Horrible experience. Went here to buy a car for my wife. Started working with the sales rep Standley. Told him everything that I wanted in regards to the car. Put a down payment to secure the car and Stan called me to let me know the car came earlier than expected. When I got there he tells me that the car was sold. I was so upset, turns out it wasn’t even the color I wanted. Stan told me he forgot the color I had ordered. I wasn’t being accommodated when it came to the APR despite having excellent credit. I decided to not continue working with them and told Stan I didn’t want the car anymore and wanted my money back. Two days later our credit was run again. I called Kia to ask why, after I had told him I didn’t want the car anymore and kept being put on hold and was then transferred to Stan who screamed at me and told me he mailed my money and hung up. I called again to speak to a supervisor and was told that I had to speak to someone in corporate. I later in the day received an email from someone in the finance department to call them. Can’t recall who I spoke to but the woman stated that she was going to make sure that no one in that dealership sold me a car. I went in person a couple of days later to get my down payment since that was what I was told and went I went, I was told that it was sent via mail. These people are very unprofessional and will not recommend this dealership at all. Took my business elsewhere and I am very happy with my new car.

This was originally going to be a 1 star review, but Brian and James were able to help me GREATLY. I was dealing with Antonio R. and he honestly didn't know what he was talking about, regarding a finance situation. I left out in a rage from the dealer, but after cooling down and talking to customer service. James (Manager) cleared up a SIMPLE solution and handed me over to Brian who was easy to talk too. No hassling, no overly pushing warranties, nothing insane. If only I got him instead, I could've been gone with my new car. Instead of having to come back again after the mess with A.R. Thank you very much to James and Brian! If you need to get a car from here, I suggest getting Brian. Update: Apr, 2022 I decrease my rating due to the fact that they lost my check. So I went through the process of getting them a new check, which I had to drive about an hour to Navy Federal. Additionally, drive another hour to the dealership to drop it off. Then finally one more hr to go back home. From there I was contemplating about decreasing the review but didn't. Up until they sent me the check, that I went out my way to get for them, back. Stating that they found the old check. I felt like they weren't looking hard enough and their laziness made me go through all that for literally no reason. They apologize, but honestly that wasn't going to cut it. Hopefully this experience doesn't happen to other car buyers, but it could seeing how it happened to me in this dealership. They could've sent me a check for gas, since I told them that I had to drive for a good minute to get this new check. Along with the apology letter. Then perhaps I would've just moved on. Smh.

My father and I came here with hopefully expectations in buying a vehicle. They give you “free” service for a year, I schedule free service, they charge my wife $353 for service I never asked for, or authorized. NEVER AGAIN. I would’ve contemplated keeping them but I only use transparent service places, Jorge definitely pulled a fast one on my wife and it will never happen again. Skip Kia of Riverdale UPDATE: Service manager talked my wife into a $358 service(we have free service for a year) for my 15,000 mile service(my truck had 12,000 miles). RIPOFF!!! They also responded to my review to call, I did, they took a message…. No call back from manager or owner as promised…

Never again In a million yrs. New Sorrento with 7k miles and it needs a transmission already! 4 weeks sitting there at dealership and zero communication with service department, KIA corporate. Now told could be up to 4 weeks more. 😡 Now going on 6 weeks and zero communication with service department nor has any management returned phone calls. Yes I just called your customer service main number and the lady had zero idea what she was saying. All I get is the transmission is ordered but no time when it will arrive. Worst experience and dealership I’ve ever ran into 30 yrs of buying or leasing vehicles. Guess it’s time for the next step.

Terrible experience after buying an expensive car. No less than a scam, worst dealership experience and I buy cars all the time. 1.The car I ended up being a Canadian ( foreign inventory car. Has to be declared by the dealer which they did not. 2. Title issues due to the car being foreign, delayed paperwork, I received the car after two months of purchase. the dealer won’t reply to the texts or calls about the clearance of the paperwork. 3. Hidden costs - had the detail package or whatever- car came in with dust and scratches after holding the car for two months. No shame. 4. Missing keys and other things. Had an absolute nightmare - the sales guy who had nothing to do when I initially purchased the car was good enough to give me one months check. If you wanna buy the car beware and do your homework. Might fall into a trap. worst dealership experience. Won’t ever buy again specially given foreign inventory.

Just be aware of this place ! They are very efficient at the time to sell, they text you they call you, but the story it’s totally opposite if you have a problem. There’s no manager to talk at all, even if you left a message; when you buy a car you expected to be happy 🙂 but if the car starts giving signs of malfunction from day 2 there’s should be a answer a call from costumer service, from the manager not one should deserve to be ignore especially in situations like this. Zero professionalism . So mad and disappointed ☹️

If I could give it zero stars I would. Miserable experience, not worth the headache, go to a different dealership. After having the car for a day tire pressure light came on I checked all tires and they were fine, even added some air to make sure. Brought it to dealership was first treated liked I was “ a young female who knows nothing about cars” and was told it was nothing it was just cold that morning . Turns out they broke the sensors on the tires and also had generic sensors on them, had to bring it to a different dealership to fix. Kia said they would reimburse me for the sensors within 2 weeks of giving them the receipt. After calling multiple times talking to multiple managers I finally got my money back after a month. Also was told I’d have my spare tire within 2 weeks of my purchase…. it took 7 month and that was also with constant calling for updates.

I bought a used 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this location last month. After I drove it off the lot my dash showed a warning to check the stability control system. I also noticed they left 1 Bolt was missing on each wheel. I brought it back to get checked out and only the bolts were added. Told me just to monitor the stability control warning. It went back on right after I drove it off. I called the service department and left a message. Never got a call back. About a week later my check engine light is now on. Then a couple days later my remote start does not work. It automatically shuts off after 5 seconds of remote start. Very frustrating as my car was only a 2018. Shows the company does not properly inspect vehicles prior to sale. Be wary of these cars.

Eli was wonderful! Extremely professional! The others not so much. Coming from Connecticut to see two cars, we wanted to make sure they were not smoked in. We called got a gentleman he said he would call us back and let us know. While we waited Mia called in assured us that he was online sales only it would be passed off to her anyway she also said that she would check the smoking situation and call us back. We decided to just get on the road 2 1/2 hours later we reach the dealership and never hear from Mia or the first gentleman. When we arrive Mia tries to take the sale from gentleman who greeted us stating “I told you I had a meeting” which she did not , she actually told us she would get right back to us. How dare you flat out lie to make your self look competent. We declined her help with the sale. She dismissed us in the phone and put us in an extremely uncomfortable position at the dealership. Glad we did not have to work with her. Thank you to everyone else there! Finances and Eli took great care of us and we were on our way with a new car! Hopefully she learned a valuable lesson in customer service today!

I am totally disappointed in this dealership once it was the best place around . service September 2021 I was there almost a whole day getting new tires and oil change . 4 months later my car wouldn’t start in the coldest day of the year and that’s because there was no oil !, obviously they never change my oil back in September it had 72,000 miles on it now it has 74 and I don’t have any oil leaks!

Today I accompanied my cousin to research a specific car at the Kia in Riverdale, NJ. We were introduced to Ahmed. Ahmed was attentive, informative and kind. He tried his best to help us in all areas. We later met James who made every effort to make us feel comfortable with the big decision which was ultimately her driving home in a car suitable to her current needs. The showroom is neat, super clean, the floors are shiny and very well kept. We had such a wonderful experience with this dealership especially with the help of the saleswoman, Kelly C. Right when we parked, we saw her parking a black Kia Sportage and she rolled her window down and asked how could she help us. I asked if this was for sale and can my Mom sit in it. She happily said yes, opened the door for my mom and adjusted the seat height at the tallest setting. My mom loved that it was a power adjustment and had clear view of the front of the car and said she loves the car. This all happened, while not knowing Kelly was already helping another customer. Kelly exemplifies great salesmanship, in this case, saleswomanship because she never said No and never showed any sign of annoyance or criticism. She went out her way to get 3 other vehicles for my mom to compare and sit in. Mind you this was a busy Saturday in their dealership. On top of that, we needed to have the car that day if we purchased it. We owe it to Kelly and the entire Kia Riverdale staff for making that happen. I would reccomend them to anyone who is looking for a great experience.

I went in to buy a car for my son and was choosing between a car at this dealership and one at another. In the past this has always been defined by lots of pressure and fast decisions that need to be made. Thankfully, I ended up with Jihad as my salesperson and he removed all stress from the situation. He is honest, and does not pressure you at all. He wants you to be happy and make the best decision. Buyer beware. This dealership does not disclose damages before selling you a car. Leased a new kia k5 to later find pre existing damage to it: nail scratches on the driver side interior door panel, bumper scrapes and ridiculous doodle scratches as if someone simply was so incompetent to not being able to get a screwdriver on the screw by the door panel. Finally got the problem fixed after about a MONTH of back and forth visits with Michael my salesperson and his manager. Then to top it all off when I get my car back after a week of it in their shop for those repairs, I notice a new scratch on my interior door panel. And of course when I email the service advisor that "helped" me, Jorge , about the new issue he does not respond. What a joke. Avoid this place at all costs.

Made appointment for 30K mile service. Promised a loaner by sales manager. Dropped off car, no loaner available. Service guy had no idea of any loaner reservation. Told me to wait and they can do the job right there so I would be out in an hour. Told them that was kind of a rush job for a 30K service. They assured me everything would be fine. About 1.5 hours later car ready. Left dealer and made U-turn on RT 23 North at which point the car began overheating. Dash light on, and warning sound alerted. I was in left lane, had to cut over two lanes, accidentally cut off a pickup who almost slammed into me in order to pull into the gas station, across from Kia of Riverdale (totally my fault, but that's what happens when panic sets in and it feels like your car is going to shut down on the highway). Tech drove over and fixed the problem. End result, due to the service being rushed, the tech failed to ensure that there was no air in the cooling system (at least that's what he told me). I completely had to rearrange my evening with shuffling kids to practice and putting my wife in a bind. Sales manager apologized for the "little hiccup".

This is literally the best used car buying experience EVER!!!! Mo and Elie couldn't make it any easier to buy a car! I was very skeptical because usually used vehicles are never what they say. Mo and Elie went as far as to drive the car 2 hours to my house to prove it with zero obligation to buy.The vehicle was even more than expected, the finance rate and payment came in cheaper than quoted..... all in all, you wont find a better dealership for a used buy!! PS. they have some of the sickest inventory I have ever saw! If your a car buff, its a must to check these guys out.

I'm writing this parked on the side of the road because they emptied out my Coolant and didn't replace it, my brake light doesn't work anymore, one tail light is brighter then the other, and finally my trunk is bent on the side. This is horrible. I'll edit my review if they fix what they broke. I'll let you know. Update: This was supposed to be a 4 hour job that lasted a week. They were mainly waiting on parts which is understandable with the supply shortage. I rated it 4 stars because the final results were good, they just need to hurry up or at least offer rentals.

Sales coverage was nice and had good intentions otherwise would be lesser rating. Coordination amongst staff seemed to be lacking. Called in advance about a vehicle and was told it was on the lot. Showed up an hour later and was told it was in transit. Manager tried to do the right thing and said they would bring it to me upon arrival. They called and we arranged a time for a week later. The time came and no call, no show. Called back and it was not coordinated. Cancelled the showing and have no intentions of revisiting.

This rating is only based on their Kia parts department. I had a great experience buying the vehicle from this dealer but can’t say the same for getting parts for it from them. I need an oil filter for my K5 the young man sitting at parts pulls up my information checks my Vin and processes my ticket. As soon as he grabs the filter another guy comes screaming from inside the shop “that’s the last one”. Then continues to go on a rant on how he had to get those three left filters from a buddy at another dealer and that’s all he has for the month. I asked him since I’m here can I get one and he said no. He would call me if they get more in. I look over at the other service guy thanking him for his help. Who by the way had this look of pure shock kinda how I felt. As I’m walking out I’m calling Fette Kia parts giving them my info seeing if they have the filter in stock. Since they are so hard to come by. The Fette parts guys states that none of that is true and we laugh about the whole thing. Either Riverdale Kia head parts guy had to much sauce on his lunch today or he really feels a certain way about those filters. Three filters in stock and a repeat customer who bought the car there can’t have one.

BEST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE EVER! THAT'S EVEN AN UNDERSTATEMENT! Really cannot say enough amazing things about Riverdale Kia and don't want to make this super long. Will definitely be doing ALL of my future Kia deals with them. I was in the market for a vehicle that was in VERY high demand and no dealership seemed to have them available for months or they simply stated that I would have to order one and wait and that I would have to basically pay a leg and an arm for one! I had talked to over 20 dealerships and nobody was able to give me honest answers. Kia of Riverdale went above and beyond. They had the exact car I wanted and I was the first call they made when they found out the other customer didn't want it. They asked me what number I wanted to be at before we even started and after a couple quick back and forth's they got me to my number with no strings attached. IT WAS AMAZING! Not only were they able to get me the BEST lease deal BY FAR (nobody could even come close), but they were also able to save me a trip to the dealership. The entire process was made quick and easy as I live in NY. They were able to let me complete all of the paperwork remotely (which took only 10 minutes) and also delivered the car to my house directly. Did not have to go to the dealership once! The car was brought with a full tank of gas and was absolutely spotless. In addition, they even included 1 year of complete maintenance on them. I could keep going on and on about how amazing this place is and by the way I have dealt with a lot of high end car dealerships (Audi, Porsche, BMW) and have NEVER had as amazing of an experience as I did here. Other dealerships need to learn from these guys. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Lastly, must give a big shoutout to Frank Vallejos-Perez, Dan, and Anthony for making this experience so amazing.

Your typical bate and switch and since I'm a female I don't know what I'm talking about. Such a shady practice too. I seriously went to try and lease a vehicle for my family and wanted to talk numbers. I was going to use my vehicle as part of a trade in/down payment, and I was asked for my keys for the VIN. The VIN is visible from the windshield, no need for keys or to enter my vehicle. Then what I was handed was a payment like I would be financing. I was researching online and plugging different numbers to give myself a range to expect and "Kevin" handed me was more than x3 anything I had plugged. I was told those online numbers don't factor in taxes and delivery charges. So a delivery fee that I shouldn't be paying for already allotted stock on the lot increases a payment by x3? Waste of my time and New Management signs means that they are lining their pockets.

Got a full price written email quote from the dealer. Took a day off from work and drove from albany NY to buy an ev6. After driving 2.5 hours to the dealership they didn't honor the quote. The dealership raised the price after arrival. We didn't buy and wasted our whole day. Had to make a police complaint and complaint to kia consumer hotline. Kia consumer suggested to work with the dealer. The dealer didn't give mich help. So we left and went home disappointed. We are considering suing the dealership in small claims court for lost wages, lost time and lost fuel and toll costs. Highly disappointed with their service.

Kelly was excellent, very knowledgeable about the car, very friendly and gentle, I loved her way of being and how easy to deal with her, unfortunately after deal with her, we have to deal with the dealer for my license plate, the temporary plate expire, I was calling repeatedly to get an answer and they always send me to a mailbox, where I left several messages with out any response what a night mare!!

I will say the buying experience was easy and stressless but it but after taking delivery of the vehicle and having problems with the vehicle on the way home trying to get in contact with somebody to get an answer upon what they're going to do to ethier fix or adjust price of the vehicle almost seem as I am being a bother to them communication seems to be an issue at this dealership. Rescpionists also can be very rude at times short of telling me I don't know what I'm talking about or that me calling trying to see what will be done about these issues is bothering them . will be costing me in the thousands to be fixed

Shady old school car dealership tactics. You know it’s bad that within five minutes of talking to a sales person they tell you three times that you should trust them and they’re being honest with you. Attempted typical fast talking tactics and was arrogant rude and pushy. Do yourself a favor and find a new style dealership that works for the customer.

Made arrangements yesterday morning with a sales associate named Lacie to test drive a 2020 Mercedes S63 AMG. I told her I was driving up from Philadelphia to test drive car and potentially purchase. After 2 1/2 hour drive, no Lacie and told the car wasn't there but they could have it there in 10-15 minutes. 45 minutes later I left. This place is disgraceful.

I usually dont give reviews but I have to tip my hat off to Mo (the manager) and Michael (the seller). I went there to buy a McLaren 650s and left with the car and 2 friends. The guys worked with me and the banks for hours to get me the best deal possible and were honest through and through. I came all the way from Florida and since the deal got done late and it was new years eve, they even shipped the car to Florida for free. I look forward to do business with them again in the future. Maybe for the GT2RS? We'll see.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy any used vehicle here. My husband and I bought a used Ford explorer here right before Christmas with our savings. We have only owned it for a week before getting poured on inside while driving. Not even a dripping sunroof, it's like someone took a bucket of water and poured it over my head. It was the first rainfall so we had no idea that the entire sunroof needs to be replaced and they don't stand by fixing it at all. We purposely went to this dealer because they are local and we figured it's better to buy from a dealership than a private sale. I am very disappointed that they don't stand behind their vehicle sales.
