The Interactive Teller was not working and the ATM process wouldn't accept deposits. I had to go to a different branch to make my deposit. This is an exception for the Whitehall branch and my rating is strictly associated with this one particular experience.

No matter how long you've been with this bank they do not try to work with you anything if you're not perfect. I've been with them over 5 years spoke with them about a loan and that was a joke. Went elsewhere and got 1 with no problem. I only keep them because all my direct deposits go here .The only thing that I like is that they don't seem to be as slow as other banks but I will be looking for another credit union.

This is the worst bank I've ever dealt with. The banker I initially dealt with was great. We got an auto loan for a great rate, and found the car we wanted. Smooth. Unfortunately the bank account I had the auto payment setup for was hacked, and I had to get a new one. I called Kemba the second week of January to tell them about the new account. Perfect, got it all settled. First payment on 2/14 came and went, without the money being taken out of my account. I called Kemba who told me the money was coming out of my account and to wait. At this time I noticed the routing number they had for me was wrong, so I called and explained. They told me not to worry about it. Second payment on 2/28 came and went, without the money being taken out of my account. At this point I've called the bank manager, various customer service reps, my original banker, and others. I've told all of them that the routing number was incorrect, and all of them told me it wasn't. I kept telling them they they weren't taking the money out of the account and they kept telling me they were. Have you ever called a bank to tell them they weren't taking your money? Everyone called me crazy February until March I had to manually pay my bill in person, and then magically it started working in April! The customer care manager reached out to me, left a voicemail and email. I reached out to her but haven't heard anything in four weeks. This is absolutely the worst bank I've ever dealt with.

I have never felt the need to do survey, rating or provide feedback or nothing I just believe God will handle everything for me and that's needed but I just want it to be known that this is the WORST bank/credit union ever and I had nothing but a bad experience with them, most of the staffing is really rude and have no respect for the customers at all. I was lied to about things I was talked to like I was nothing and most of all treated like my business wasn't worth nothing to them and I was very loyal I had my auto loan which always was in good stands never messed a payment, checking and savings account which I used often and all in good stands and even brought them customers like my parents. Now I know ppl will say it's always more, I'm a man of God and love everyone I wouldn't dare disrespect anyone or treat them poorly even if they did something to me because God will handle it but before coming to KEMBA if you want problems have to call all the time and deal with poor service and inconvenience join them and you will see, so sad. The banker waisted my time . Wasn’t specific about what I needed to bring. Had me go back and forth and waisted my time. That’s ridiculous. You should next time be well informed with your job

I believe I have been with them for the last 7 or so years. My mom dad and sister all banked here when I was younger so they are all I knew as far as banks went. I always receive good customer service when I visit or call in HOWEVER, I feel as if they do not try to work with me when I ask them for something. I really wanted my home loan through my bank . They told me no several times . Ended up getting it somewhere else. No issues. Great monthly payments. Fantastic interest rate. I even spoke to the VP at one point. He was nice, but he was feeding me BS just to get me to calm down. I want to start my kids bank accounts and was going to do it here but I’m reconsidering. I’m not sure kemba is the best option for myself and my family anymore.

Local branches don't have an option for ATM deposit outside of banker hours. My auto loan is through them and after sending my insurance 3 times they put a $5000 force placed insurance policy on my loan. Major suckage. I would not recommend.
