Kahren and her team were amazing in helping this clueless first time buyer through the process of getting a mortgage. Their communication and follow up was excellent from day one. I never had to wonder where I was at in the process and they were always open to questions if I had any. If they needed anything from me their request also came with detailed instructions so I knew exactly what was needed. As far as the loan itself, apparently they were able to close on my VA loan much faster than is normal, which was great as I was eager to get in to my new place. In my experience it's just that simple and easy but that is a testament to how amazing Kahren and her team are. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loan, great rates, great service. Also Kahren seems to genuinely care about and want to help the people she is working with.

Kahren Oxner was a dream to work with. she was friendly and extremely helpful. She was always happy to answer every one of my thousands of questions. Her team did a fantastic job of keeping me updated and in the loop the entire time. If I ever have to buy another house or have to get another loan I will be giving her a call. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Ok….I am not really sure I can adequately express or explain my experience working with Kahren and her team. Everyone talks about how nerve wracking and stressful it is to finance a home. That was not my experience. From the first call, it was “you got this” & “let’s make it happen” She understood how hard I worked to get together my down payment, there was no shame that my payment was not 20%. (lecturing me is something another broker did) I was purchasing alone, I don’t have family to “gift” me money, and when I explained that this was all on me, she made me feel empowered. (unlike above broker suggested multiple times to ask family- which made me feel very alone) She listened to me, my story and told me, find the house you want and we will make it happen. Once my offer was accepted, the process was so positive and dare I say painless. Every time she or the her team asked for something, it was not we have a problem or something to worry about, it was “we are almost there” “look at how hard you have worked” “this is happening for you” I am actually sad she won’t be cheering me on now that I have keys in hand. Maybe I will become a real estate developer so I can keep her in my life on the daily.

I am impressed by the hard-working team of experts at UMortgage, led by Kahren Oxner. Team Oxner for the win! If you are looking to purchase or refinance a home this is the 1st place anyone should look. This is the second time I have used Kahren, Tara and Angela and once again they impress. They are professional, responsive and they always seem to get things done so quickly. Kahren Oxner and her stellar team were absolute rockstars to work with in our recent real estate needs!
