Yury and Innovative Mortgage are simply the best. I am 55 years old and I have never owned a home. I knew nothing about mortgages or interest rates or closings before I began shopping for a home. It is only natural that prospective homeowners begin their mortgage search with either their bank or their credit union--for the obvious reasons. You cannot do any transaction with your bank without them making a pitch to sell you a mortgage. I then was introduced to the big online portals (Morty, Quicken) which quickly turned me off due to their no human contact platform. Everything was done online and even your questions or problems were handled online. I knew this was not going to work for me, seeing that I was going to make the biggest purchase of my life. So I just happened to speak into my phone, "Mortgage Brokers in Philadelphia". The only one that came up with all five star reviews was Innovative Mortgage. From my very first conversation with Yury, he was prompt in all of his communications and he addressed each one of my concerns until I was satisfied. He responded to every text, every email, and every phone always on the same day--often within minutes of making an inquiry. As a first time home buyer, I was not well versed in the legal language associated with buying a home. Yury walked me through every document he sent me. When he said feel free to call me with any questions you might have, he meant it. He took every call I made whenever I made it. When I was getting near closing and the underwriters were requesting more documents, I began to get nervous. I had to explain various benefits I was receiving, and I had to explain my job distance in relation to my new home. I had to take a first time home buyer course. I was also taken aback when the closing costs did not align with previous numbers I was shown previously. Yury addressed each one of these issues. He explained why I needed to explain certain things to the underwriter and that I should not be worried. Many things were resolved without further explanation which I am sure Yury intervened on my behalf and mediated the situation towards a resolution.  The closing cost numbers did indeed drop once the final numbers were crunched and I was happy with those numbers. Finally, when I was about to lock in my interest rate, Yury told me about the pros and cons of locking in now. This is the one area where I had done my in-depth research so I was able to fully engage in his discourse on this matter. Rates were indeed going up and it was beneficial to lock in now. I feel very comfortable with the rate that I got and I appreciate Yury's patience in explaining the dynamics behind the interest rates. I am so glad I passed on the big banks. They were so impersonal and actually encouraged me to bite off more than I can chew. This is how this is how our most recent mortgage fiasco came about in the first place. To know there are honest, fair, and patient professionals out there who are willing to help you achieve the dream of home ownership is a blessing.
