My name is Tamika. Clay Cooley sold me the lemon. IDa worked with me since I bought my car. I was homeless, not working etc. Mr c Milton was very forthright in the beginning realized my predicament soften to help when he could. Even though I'm behind again and they may even take my car, I'm grateful for their hard work and dedication to keep a float. I appreciate it. The the reviews are true for the most part with some of their agents. Truth be told, their just doing their job. It is a loan after all. We are suppose to pay it.

I had a vehicle through them a few years ago. About 2015, the car was totaled on July 18, 2019. I had full coverage and Gap insurance that they forced me to get. They still reported my car late to the credit agency in August and even after disputing they will not remove it instead of checking the data that says my car was paid off through insurance they still want to argue. No wonder they have worse reviews with the BBB. Worst mistake I ever made!!!

As you can see it's no secret why this place has the ratings that they do. I'm starting to think the 5 stars are from employees. They will hit you with random monthly fees that are not included in your contract. Which is illegal and progressive insurance has recently went through a past lawsuit for this matter. I do not mind going through the long processes of legal actions if it involves someone trying to get over on people and their hard earned money. I think they are trying to make up for losses that occurred from past accounts. DO NOT do a loan through this place. It is most definitely a scam. You will regret it. I think they do this so that in the end they get your property and your months of payments. Screenshot your balance and payments and save all receipts because in the end what you signed for could end up to be 5,000$ more than what you settled for.

I have had my car with them for 4 years. 99% of these reviews are bogus. These people are extremely accommodating and work with you every step of the way. Yes your interest rates are high, yes you have to pay a fee to make your payment yes it will help you get better financing in the future. Nothing but good things to say about them.

As you can see by all the other bad reviews. This company has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I would have given this company 0 stars. Threatening to disable our vehicle before the month is even up during this coronavirus time is sickening. The customer service for this company needs some serious education in compassion and understanding. We got sold a lemon vehicle by some hole in the wall place that closed down within 2 months of us having the truck and we have put more money into fixing it than we have in payments and we haven’t even had the truck a whole year yet! We got scammed and having to deal with this company on top of that. We will pursue legally as soon as we have the money and we will get the truck for half the price!

The worst company you could ever fianace a car through. They have the most unprofessional staff, specifically Marquita. I have never had anyone talk to me so rudely. They are harassing when it comes to payments even if your payment due date isn't for another week or two. Would not recommend do not put yourself through hell. I will never go through them again even if they were the one and only company on earth I'd rather buy a car straight out cash then to deal with them.

I have worked with Shannon and several others for several years now and my vehicle will be paid off in a few more months. They have always been great and willing to help. I had my car over 2 years and the transmission went out. It was extremely expensive to repair/replace (shop of my choice) and I was not able to pay the monthly car payment and get the car fixed. I called Shannon and explained to her my situation. Within 24 hours, I was told to send IDA a copy of the invoice from the repair shop and they would just move two payments to back of my loan with no penalties or added interest. Almost forgot about this...I had originally purchased a car from a dealership in Cleveland Ga. The vehicle did not have an emission test and when I went to have it done in order to get my tag.....it would not pass.....the motor had been doctored up and was on it's last legs and going to cost a couple thousand dollars to repair. I had just bought the car 8 days ago !!! Of course the dealership was like "sorry, but it was "AS IS", no help from them whatsoever. I called IDA, and that's when I first talked with Shannon. The next day, she called me back and told me to give the car back to the dealership and they were not going to honor the loan agreement. Also, she provided me with names of other dealerships that IDA worked with and told me to go find another vehicle. That's customer service !

I have been with this company for about 5 years and I have never had any problems. As long as I called them and talked to them about being late they worked with me. Whenever they called me I always talked to them, I kept the lines of communication opened when there was a problem. I can not remember a time that they did not work with me on my payments, as long as I was honest and straight forward with them. They went above and beyond for me several times, any other company would have repossessed the vehicle. My vehicle will be paid off in about 2 months....I have no complaints about this company... I have worked with Ms. Ray, Shantel, Jamel, and a couple of others, they were all very nice and helpful. Shantel has been my account rep for a while now and she has always answered when I called, when I leave a message she "ALWAYS" calls back, and if I ask her to check into something for me she does it and calls me back just like she promises....Interest rate is a little high but that's to be expected when you have less than perfect credit...They financed me when no one else would....

If I didn’t have to give a star I wouldn’t. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. The Better Business Bureau should shut them down they should not be in business at all. They are liars and they are automated system in any payment form does not correctly put your payment on your account they add money when they shouldn’t they say that you missed payments when you haven’t and I’m surprise that they h if I didn’t have to give a star I wouldn’t. I just received notice that my account at unique motors was passed on to IDA LLC and was a little worried. Especially from all the customer complaints all over the web that I been reading from the different complaint sites. But in my research it is apparent to me that most of the coplaints come from people with hardships, or made a bad purchase on a vehicle that they didn't do research on first. When going to a buy here pay here lot don't get the first shiny car you see. You go to Edmunds .come research the vehicle for common issues on vehicles over 100k Miles. I mean If you have to default on your payments due to a poorly maintained vehicle or a vehicle that's probably known for certain mechanical failures especially high millage higher tier vehicles than of course your going to have issues with your lender. It's a business, businesses need to make money people. If you truly love your car have a backup plan. Save your money in case of a hardship but at least pay your payment with your lender on time and within the grace period offered. The one thing I found out by searching the web is that there all multiple ways to pay your payments on line. I like that. I like that the account rep is very attentive and returns calls promptly. And yes give them a date that you will pay and follow through with that. Keep the channels of communication open so that they know what your plan is. If you ignore calls they don't know what your plan is. Think of all the people that do buy here pay here, and all the phones calls they make each day. All the different excuses they here all day. I'm sure it's a difficult job and after hearing so many excuses they probably expect the worse unless proven otherwise . Maybe there exhausted from the daily calls to people who are avoiding them. I just feel you get out what you put in. I had a great relationship with unique motors Tampa Florida where I got my ride and never once was late on a payment they always work with me all I have to do is tell them when im paying, and I hope to have the same experience with IDA LLC.

Update: I was trying to trade my vehicle in and was unable to due to the fact that this company have not reported it to any credit bureaus. I have always paid my car note on time every month for 5 years and it was all for nothing. This company needs to be shut down. I have reached out to the Better Business Bureau and also a lawyer. The worst company. They are never accurate. Nobody ever knows what they are talking about. This company needs to shut down.

Very bad company, does not follow through with what they say. I decided to voluntarily give up the vehicle because I was tired of dealing with them. They came at 1am for a VOLUNTARY repo, being super loud, woke up my child, then left my gate open so my dog could get out. They could have come at a decent hour being it was voluntary. Very dissatisfied and I highly recommend taking your service elsewhere. My loan was sold to them, I had great credit before. They never reported when I made a payment, therefore showing I was “late” on payments that I wasn’t late on.

I’ve been paying a 2014 Elantra GT car for 2 years and when I went to Hyundai to trade in this car for a new one, I couldn’t get one because they never reported my car to my credit. Then I called, they said “at the middle of the month,” “every five months”, and then “we do it for courtesy.” Now, they’ll report the car because they know they never did and they’ll damage my credit. So, don’t get your car with them. They were extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. The Karen Villamar, started screaming and saying disrespectful things in a incorrect way. And my dad was on the call because I always have a witness for everything and when he tried to explain something to the supervisor she said: “you’re not on the contract so I don’t have to let you speak.” And hung up. PLEASE! Whatever you do, get your car with another lien holder. This one is the worst; I’ve never cried of anger like I did on that call. So, please, avoid this situation. Good day.

During this pandemic, my fiancée lost his job and his unemployment was unexpectedly stopped. We were offered a deferment, which we were NOT explained clearly. That was last month. This month they called looking for a payment. I attempted to explain that I was paying all the bills and he had NO income coming in, she said they needed payment. NOT TO MENTION, the car has not ran for 6+ months. It's transmission was blown. Prior to now, we have been faithfully paying on an NON-OPERATING VEHICLE! And they were aware of this! The fact that we have never been late on a payment meant absolutely nothing to this company. I offered to pay SOMETHING, it was refused. When I told her that was all I could give, she responded with "Where's the car located." If possible, I would give this company 0 stars! Shantell was very unprofessional and rude. If IDA is the only way that you can get a car, fix your credit and find something else.

The worst company I have EVER had to deal with. Very unprofessional, and rude. I never get accurate information, and one employee even admitted that the balance info on their website is never accurate. Also, admitted to be charging me over $80 a month in fees - claiming I've never had insurance. Unfortunately, my loan was transferred here by another company and it has been an absolute nightmare ever since. PLEASE look elsewhere if possible.

I purchased a car from this company and they promised me that in 2 years with good payment history I would be able to refinance the vehicle this is the only reason why I agreed to pay for a vehicle at a interest rate of 28%. I keep up my end and paid on time for 2 years then I returned to the company and asked them to trade me into a better vehicle at a lower rate and they refused, then I attempted to trade the vehicle at another dealership and was informed that the vehicle's car fax report showed that the vehicle had structural damage and no one, I mean no one would take it back as a trade. They lied to me and they knew there was a problem with the carfax report. Total Crooks, never, never, ever use this company. Even if you are desperate, their are other dealerships that will at least be more honest and not charge such a crazy rate. MAKE THEM GIVE YOU A CARFAX REPORT, avoid the same mistake I made.
