Just wanted to post about how helpful this dealership is. Matthew went above and beyond what I asked for, very knowledgeable about the car. Taught me alot about it within minutes. Answered every question I had and then some. The next day everything was figured out and delivered the car the following day. HIGHLY recommended dealership, small but service is very professional. 5STARS Hands Down.

I traveled from out of state to purchase my car yesterday, and had the best car buying experience that I ever had. I contacted Kevin about the availability, and he promptly emailed me the final numbers. When I arrived at the Dealership Matt took care of me and had everything ready to go. He also gave me a very thorough run down of all of my new car's features. A+++ experience from start to finish!! I highly recommend Hyundai of New Bern!!

So, I recently drove my dad’s beautiful 2012 Chili Pepper Red Toyota RAV4 Sport edition and it brought back a beautiful memory that I would like to share… Many moons ago, I bought a grade A clunker from the clowns at Nissan down the road. I wanted to love it- I tried my best for 8 long months but it just couldn’t get the job done. Without boring you all to tears with the details of the pain and finances it cost me, I finally got it in working order and decided enough was enough. At the time, I had a lovely client who worked at Hyundai and suggested I trade my wretched truck in. I assured him I’d stop by, but knew my credit was bad and had a deep seated fear of rejection (don’t we all!). I sat in my truck after work, wondering when the next time would be that I’d have to change the starter out by myself in a grocery store parking lot again, and mustered the courage to go to Hyundai. I picked that smokin’ red hot Toyota out as soon as my front wheels hit the lot. But as soon I sat down to do the loan paperwork, my heart was in my throat thinking about how financially irresponsible I had been in my early 20’s (weren’t we all!). The perfect gentleman that assisted me at the dealership got me on the phone with the grand master general of the bank and had me plead my case! I explained my hardships and assured him that I had never known love like what I felt when I saw that red beauty, and I damn sure wouldn’t let his fine institution down (I didn’t). Several years later, my father needed some newer wheels and I was moving “overseas”, so I gracefully bestowed the red rocket upon him. Now that I’m back in town, I still get to drive her from time to time and reminisce on the most pleasant experience I had at the New Bern Hyundai dealership. Thank you for keeping my ego in tact, most of all.

Very disappointed with the professionalism of this dealership. After referring several family members and friends to this dealership with great success figured it was time to pull the trigger for myself. I was told my car of choice would be in on a truck and would be there two weeks, three months later still nothing. Lack of communication and every time we talked to them, it was another excuse after excuse as to why it was delivered yet. When confronting the salesman about it, he proceeded to call us liars to our face when we had text messages to prove our point. Asked for our deposit back, I didn't even get a sorry or any message for that matter, just our money back. Very unprofessional and disrespectful!! I will not do business here again unfortunately.

They made my car buying experience a breeze! Matt was able to answer all of my questions and knew all of the features of my new 2022 Elantra. They even had my car delivered 75 miles a way free of charge.

Recently I purchased my Santa Cruz, which it is vehicle # 8 that has been purchased from Hyundai of New Bern for my wife or myself since I've been a client of Hyundai of New Bern (2005). The experience has always been excellent and Tommie Jones has always been an excellent Product Specialist. When I wanted the Santa Cruz, Tommie always kept me informed of when the model that I wanted arrived at the dealer. The service department is also excellent, Chuck is a great service manager. I highly recommend Hyundai of New Bern.

Went there to trade a like new Honda civic and the finance manager was extremely rude and mean. Had to walk out because she wouldn't even negotiate our trade in allowance by a thousand dollars. Went to New Bern Mazda and got a great deal extremely fast. Thanks Hyundai for making my decision easy.

The process was good timing. They really helped me out a lot. Dean was amazing! I walked in with a 2013 Camry with a salvage title and came out with a 2021 Hyundai Elantra with a good payment. Store and finance manager were amazing!

It was decided that I needed a cosigner in order to possibly be approved due to my poor credit. I was told that my credit would not be pulled until I found one. Well they went ahead and pulled my credit anyways before finding a cosigner and after finding a cosigner. They then told me I was denied and that was it. After I was told I was denied it was like I vanished from existence to them. They really made it feel like I was going to get a car as long as I had a cosigner and then told me I can't get a car. So they pulled my credit twice making my financial hole deeper then it was, got my hopes up about getting a new car, and then did not even bother to provide any extra steps I could take to get in a car or even apologize. Apperently they only want to deal with customers who have excellent credit. They will not give poor credit a chance and in my case they made my credit worse. Definitely will not go back to this facility once I fix my credit.

We drove down from Raleigh as we were actually able to find the car we were looking for at this location. Thank you for making it easy to purchase the car we knew we wanted! Thank you to Kinsey and "Shorty" for making the purchase of our new Tucson so pleasant!

My family purchased multiple vehicles from Paul Morgan. He's just amazing! When I had an issue with my vehicle they corrected it right away, and gave me a loaner vehicle. The service department is phenomenal as well. They work fast and efficiently. The GM takes pride in his business and always makes sure everyone is taken care of the way they should. My car needed some maintenance service done like an oil change, tire rotation, and a check-over on everything. When I called Justine answered the phone and was extremely friendly and was very helpful in getting me to the right place to schedule an appointment. My car service was done in a quick and professional time frame, I didn't even have to leave the dealership. While waiting for my car, Justine again was very friendly and made conversation with me and many others in the lobby. She made us feel very welcome! 10/10 would recommend visiting with Hyundai of New Bern!

I usually get my car service at the Hyundai in Jacksonville because it was closest to me and that’s where I bought my car. However, after getting tired of poor professionalism from that service department and moving, I decided it was time to give another location a try. I regret not going to Hyundai of New Bern from the beginning. The salesmen and service department are both incredible. The professionalism and friendliness cannot be beat at Hyundai of New Bern! They definitely should take pride on the customer service they provide, you literally feel like family there. I will definitely be using Hyundai of New Bern from now on!!!!

Have purchased 8 new vehicles from Hyundai of New Bern. I think this says it all. The last 3 were bought sight unseen, delivered 150 miles and 3 hours away. Hands down best experience with buying a car! Went in on Saturday right before close and Dean was awesome! Got us in the car we were there to check out and got to test drive it. Went back Tuesday in and out within 2 hours! Tommy helped finalize al the details with our trade in and shorty was on top of finance. Our go to dealer from now on!

My last four cars for Hyundai's and this is the first time I bought down in North Carolina. This dealership was clean and the people were extremely nice. Tommie, our salesman was extremely pleasant soft spoken and actually funny at times. We not only talked about cars but we talked about serving time in the army and other things in life. And once again thank you Tommie protecting our country. They went by our schedule one we could be there when we couldn't be there. The car was ready for us whenever we were ready. I would recommend this dealership to anyone that wants to have a hassle free experience.

Hyundai is a world-class automobile -- reasonably priced throughout the line, reliable, safe and attractive engineering. Hyundai of New Bern in my estimation can serve as an example for other dealerships representing other products -- as its personnel staff is so very well-informed on all of the product line, is reliable, honest, open and well-respected. In each of our prior four purchases, we have consulted with Tommy Jones for whom we have the utmost respect. One last, but important point is that Mr. Jones closes with "Please call me with any questions ....." and I and my wife have, and he has always responded.

i went to Hyundai of New Bern to my car's transmission fluid flushed and refilled and the service was awesome! in the one hour time frame it took them to service my car, i got to walk around the lot and showroom and checked out the new and used cars they had on sale that day. my car now runs great with fresh fluid in the transmission and i love it. i am staying with the Hyundai brand for life! 🙂

everyone is so friendly here, they helped me find a car that was perfect for me and my family. the service department is definitely on top of their game as well. customer service was top notch and i wasn't in there for hours upon hours. they helped me find a bank to finance through even though i have awful credit. 10/10 would recommend.

Extraordinary Service Department provides exceptional customer service. Schedule an appointment when you want one; vehicle is always serviced right on schedule. Wait in a comfortable lounge with satellite TV, a wide variety of coffee K-cups, bottled water, vending, free wifi, and plenty of electrical outlets for charging devices. You won't wait long though! My vehicle was serviced and provided a courtesy wash inside and out before I knew it. Friendly, personable staff will treat you like family. Service technicians are brilliant diagnosticians and so efficient. I love my 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. It has 235,000 miles and remains in top condition because of this Service Department. Thanks for everything, Chuck, Spanky and Team!
