    The most unprofessional and incompetent group of people I have ever come across in all my years as a customer. Additionally, the majority of the employees do not wear masks for protection against COVID-19 and the few who do, have their masks below the nose. That aside, check out my experience below: On 12/4/2021 I received from Kelley Blue Book an instant cash offer for my car in the amount of $1,729. The offer was accepted by Honda of Downtown Los Angeles by Bryan Kerr who then appraised my vehicle in person and gave me a firm offer of $1,175 valid until 12/11/2021. On that same day, I attempted to do a trade-in, with Jerry, but couldn't find any vehicles that worked for me and Honda also didn't make me a good financing offer. They claimed that my credit wasn't strong enough to support the vehicles available and that the only one I would be able to buy, would be a 2015 Honda Fit with 90k miles! Meanwhile, I already had an offer for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee and a 2021 Corolla in my back pocket at great financing rates. I decided to skip the trade-in and come back once I purchased my new car only to sell my vehicle to Honda, as agreed with Bryan. Here is where they made their first mistake, they missed out on a great sale. Today, 12/10/2021 I returned to the dealership, Bryan wasn't there and they told me they would appraise the car again. Their appraisal came back at $750. I reiterated to them that I already had an offer valid until the 11th and that it was linked to a Kelley Blue Book deal. Matt who was helping me brought this information to Steve, the manager who in turn insisted on the new amount. I called Bryan, explained the situation and Bryan called Steven. Steven came to speak to me and now the offer had dropped to $648. This is where they made their second mistake, they missed out on a purchase that could have led to a sale. Steve suggested that perhaps the initial offer was attached to a trade-in offer, clearly out of his depth. For the record, I asked Bryan to give me a copy of the appraisal and he told me I wasn't supposed to get one, therefore I don't have any paperwork, he has it all in his files. The same happened today. I filed an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will update this review if anything comes of it.

    My mom recently upgraded her car from a 2019 Nissan Rouge to a 2022 Honda Pilot. Thanks to Amalia Pineda. She is the best on customer service & she also has a lot of patience. My mom can be a little complicated. But she was able to satisfied my mom. And she loves it. Thank you again Amalia for everything you are the best!!!

    Have only had this new car for two months and came in because there was a nail in my tire. After being here for 4 HOURS and paying almost $200 for a new tire this is how they give it back to me! My rim looked nothing like this before! We noticed right when we got home and had to come all the way back and the manager brushed it off as if this were normal. They think this is an exceptional way to return a car to their customer… the manager said they will fix it right away and but right now we asked his employee and he just told us there’s no guaranteed time so hopefully we’re not here for ANOTHER HOUR. FYI the managers name is Juan Update: The manager contacted me same day after I left and resolved everything with me. The initial impression I had seemed to be wrong from a rushed moment. He apologized about the car, everything got fixed, and even threw in detailing to my car for my next visit! Also, Gladys (the kind woman who followed up on my post) contacted me many times to fix things and I really appreciate that. I had been very busy but now I made time to update my review!

    I've been here many times for different reason and Honda of Downtown Los Angeles are always helpful when I bring in my vehicle. I had issues with my battery and I had no choice to bring in my vehicle, obviously they book by appointments, but Deon Jackson understood that my vehicle will get stranded somewhere if I don't take care of it now. This gentleman was very helpful and courteous to my situation. I will definitely come back for anything that my 2020 Honda needs. Thank you!

    Overall, my experience at Honda DTLA was easy quick. I booked an appointment & was fairly easy to navigate on the site. I do wish there was a way to modify or add notes to the appointment after appointment was made. Edwin N. was my advisor , he was descriptive of the servicing process my car required ( my ac was not working) & made it comfortable to understand. As a woman, it has been difficult to acquire honest service in this industry so this was a huge plus for me, honesty. Overall my experience was positive, easy, & quick. Will definitely come back to be scheduling future services here.

    Everybody in Honda are very welcoming and knowledgeable in what they are doing. I want to give a huge thanks to Osman for helping me close a deal that nearly seemed impossible. His knowledge is very OUTSTANDING , he answered every question I had without trouble. I appreciate the time he took to show me every car I was interested in and I was able to test drive them. He was able to help me find the one that was right for me. It’s very exciting to know that once you close a deal with them, many employees come out and celebrate with you, while you ring a bell.     This dealership has nothing but snakes working there! My mother went to this place today to try to buy a new car. She has great credit with an offer from her bank. She tried to buy a HR-V, and they were trying to push it on her for $32000. She asked for the base price for that model, which they refused to give her. I can tell you the base prices for the different kinds of trim, but you can just get that off their site. I can also tell you that I priced out the base prices for other dealerships in the SoCal area & they were lower. First they told her they could take $29000, which she was offering for the vehicle. Then they came back & said they couldn't go lower than $29700, then later they said oh wait we can't go lower than $29900. They kept her there for 6 hours haggling out the price with her when she stated she did not want to haggle. They are nothing but snakes who try to swindle you if you have a slight accent & don't look like you know what you're talking about. Even the manager was trying to do this to her. I'm glad my mom is not a pushover & wouldn't give in to their ridiculous pricing. They also tried to tell her she wouldn't get a better deal anywhere else. She is still shopping around and I am going down there to help her. But they will not get my business & do not even deserve to be in business with the way they're running things over there.

    At first sight up til contract signing all was great. However days after I had to reach to the finance manager Arturo because the security system order was never submitted to the vendor for activation. It took 3 weeks to be able to speak to him. He never responded to texts, calls, emails. I had to speak to someone else that ended transferring me to him to fix the situation. He offered no apologies at all and was very blunt. He said there was a mistake in a number and he was going to fix it. We had to also request the extended warranty cancellation and we agree to meet at 12p at the dealer we arrived 10 min early just to find out he was going to come to his office late and we had to wait for someone else to help us. The after purchase service is terrible bad. We couldn’t understand why. Reason why I wouldn’t go back or refer anyone.

    Excellent service. Convenient location. But my last visit service advisor Keisha was not professional. I just wanted to have my car check but he didn’t wanted to take because the engine light wasn’t on even though there was something wrong with my car. Finally they fixed my car and courtesy car available will be nice.

    Nowadays it seems all Honda dealers add dealer options as a way of making up for lack of inventory. Only found one that didn’t and they had a $3K markup for air basically (nothing added to car but price). This dealer offers a great lifetime power train warranty just for purchasing a car from them and also. They were easy to work with, had most availability on multiple colors, and weee very quick on their service an paperwork. We are leaving as very happy customers.

    I just leased a new 2022 Pilot. The leasing experience was long with all the haggling but I left with a deal I could live with. The folks were pleasant and I felt good about the overall experience. However, I haven’t gotten what I paid for so far. The gas mileage is super low for what they claimed it should be. The gas mileage on the Pilot is advertised as 20/27. An average of 23 combined. I drove off the lot on a full tank. I wanted to test how much miles I’d actually get so I drove it until it was nearly empty. I also drove it like my grandma to make sure I wasn’t putting any stress on it to cause the mileage to be low. I got 232 miles on a full tank. It takes 19.5 gallons. You don’t have to be good at math to know that’s no where near 20/27. It’s more like 12/13. I’m taking it back for them to inspect it to see what could be causing this major low mileage issue. The suv also had some computer glitches and the back seat sliding bar was bent had a part broken off and another part was loose. This should not be the case on a new vehicle. I did not expect to be back at the dealership for service with a brand new suv after driving it less than 300 miles. This is more than inconvenient. Hopefully they will resolve all these issues and I can go on to enjoy this Pilot. I will circle back and update this review once I have my answer. I hope to have a good experience with the service team. I will let you know.

    Gone here several times to get oil changes and tires aligned. Usually have a decent experience. Worked with Rigo on my Honda Civic to get some maintenance done. Super friendly and informative. The estimated time of completion is pretty accurate if not 15 minutes earlier.

    This was the worst dealership I've experienced. I wanted to buy a car and trade in my current car, so I received a cash offer from Kelly Blue Book. Kassie emailed me stating she could pay "top dollar" for my car so I decided to make an appointment. When I arrived I was helped by Daniel. He began by running my credit without giving me an amount for my trade in (Which I will admit is my fault, I should have said no). Then, he offered me $2,500 less than my original cash offer without looking at my car and when I informed him that the Honda Dealership in Valencia was willing to give me the full cash offer amount, he upped his current offer by $500. I should have walked out at this point but I stayed hoping we could make something work. Long story long, I ended up spending over 3 hours at this dealership, was talked down to by their pushy closer, and purchased my car at the Valencia Dealership. I debated writing a review but I hope it helps others avoid such unpleasant service.

    I purchased a vehicle from them in the summer of 2021 and because of the awful experience I cannot imagine buying another Honda. They told me there were packages (security, protection) they put on every vehicle and I was required to pay for them so I did. When the vehicle arrived they weren’t installed. I was refunded my money after begging 4 different people to help me. None of the pre-delivery checklist was completed including not taking the vehicle out of the maintenance mode from the factory. I had to take it to a local dealership who helped me out. I couldn’t drive it when it arrived since they didn’t provide the title nor a temporary permit. During this whole process I would text the “Sales Manager” who would say he would get back to me and answer one of three questions I asked once he responded days later. He couldn’t handle basic business etiquette. Since he was useless I would call around trying to get answers as I lined up financing, clarified pricing, inquiring when the vehicle would be delivered, etc. and ended up dealing with seven or eight different people. They all gave me the run-around which made it clear this dealership is a mess. Good management helps their team do their jobs well and take care of customers. That does not happen at Honda of Downtown LA. The only reason I stuck with this dealership was because they had access to the only vehicle available in the country at the time. This whole process has left a bad taste for any Honda vehicle with me.

    Check in for service was great and also the guy who helped me out the first time @ check in. To pick up my car once it was ready was a long wait not because it wasn’t ready but because either the person who told me he was going to call for my car didn’t which I think his name was Andres, and also people bringing the cars didn’t ask me why I was waiting there for more than 30min. I had to ask again to see if my car can be brought to me if not who knows how much longer I would of waited.

    I hardly have bad experiences but this place has really done that for me. I went in for a car service originally and the AC button in my car was defective and I was told it could be replaced and covered by purchase warranty as I just got the car recently. I was initially already disappointed with the quality of HONDA and knew I should have gone with toyota or any other car prior to this experience. I was assigned an employee by the name DION who after my service told me he was going to be ordering the part along with another employee there who actually texted me after I left telling me he would order the part also. I left confident that day thinking wow they are awesome. I call a week later asking if the part has been ordered and it had not been so I was patient and let them handle it. After I got off the phone I noticed DION had scheduled me for an appointment date without even confirming with me just automatically scheduled it. At this point I am very interested in the part being ordered so I say to myself well I will just go to the appointment not thinking much of it at the time. Well the day of the appointment comes and immediately they do not even know what I am doing there and I ask if they had ordered the part and of course they had not. Dion apologizes and I empathize with the employees and just leave without complaining. Although they had wasted my time and I had gone out of my way to attend the appointment which I hadn't agreed to in the first place. I leave that day PATIENT AGAIN. Weeks go by and nothing so after a month I call them and the manager tells me she will immediately follow up with the employee so I trust her AGAIN. Dion ends up calling me back and again schedules me for yet ANOTHER appointment without my consent. This time I was smart enough to call the morning of the appointment to ask if they had ordered the part as I had gone there before and they did not have it. THEY HAD NOT ORDERED IT and thankfully I had called prior. Again weeks went by and they completely forgot about the part im sure and most importantly about me as a customer. At this point I randomly remembered months later about the part and called them and they told me nobody was in to help me so they would follow up with me later which I am sure won't happen. Mostly disappointed that they are lacking great customer service and accountability after investing in the company with services here and a car purchase overall. If you are considering a HONDA look elsewhere I mean Toyota offers 2 years free service and I am sure they treat customers way better from family experience.

    By far, Mathew the Hispanic one was very helpful to me. He was very kind and offered me water while I was waiting for him to bring the car for a test drive. He then showed me multiple cars with different specifications, I highly recommend his service. I had an appointment with Natalie Valero and she wasn't there , she never answer my calls or even emails. I would pick Matbew for sure .

    The experience was great even with the car shortage, they had a couple of options and always kept their customers updated.     Robert is the worst salesman I have ever seen….. he doesn’t know anything about the car he doesn’t know about finance but he doesn’t mind to give you wrong information which lead to problems and they end up apologizing… not once not twice but multiple times he gave the wrong information…. I purchased the car I wanted by they treat you like dumb person counting on you not Knowing …. But it’s good that I use to work in a dealership and I know there Tricks …. Worst dealership worst salesman never buying anything for them again

    Update for my vehicle 5/31/2022 👎🏼 Well it’s over a week past my delivery date and still no call from Eduar. I text him twice panicking , left several messages for him as well, and NO RESPONSE!! Even Quincy Mugg, Internet Manager, was auto e mailing me asking if he could help and if everything was fine.     I came in for my first service for oil change. I was told/promised my car would be ready in 2 hours. I told the service advisor Rigo, that I would wait in house for car. My appointment was at 12 noon and I arrived before the appointment time. I was told oil change would be completed by 2pm and complimentary car wash is always performed unless customer declines car wash. I agreed. I checked on my car at 1:50pm to make certain we were on track with completion time. I spoke to other service advisor(didnt get his name) and was told that car would probably be washed and it should be ready by 2:15pm. I received my car at 2:20pm and car was not washed! I was disappointed due to the delay of it not being ready at 2pm, was due to car being washed. Told Rigo I was unhappy with my 1st service experience and car was not washed as promised. Rigo offered to get it washed asap. which I declined. I was already 30 minutes behind schedule for an appt.

    4th time taking in my vehicle for the same problem, they said it was the transmission that needed to be replaced. 9 business days later with multiple calls and visit to get answers. They replaced the fuel pump not the transmission. No explanation was given for the change of repair. Still having problems with my vehicle.

    Great team, fast and straight to the point, no bs no hassle no problem. One thing I will mention, they didn't really check a lot of banks for financing options. They said sometimes customers don't like them doing it. I would encourage anyone that thinks they can get a better rate on their own to do it. Yes it's their job technically to search but YOU'RE responsible for your contract once the pen hits paper. So definitely do your own due diligence.

    I enjoyed my experience here at Honda. When I came in, I was looking for the car of the year. A young man named Humberto helped me out a lot. We looked into cars and help me find my price range car. I was thrilled that he got to help me out. Great customer service, nice manner.     My insurance gave me the option of selecting a place to take my car and i selected wrong. Downtown Honda Los Angeles has no communication between employees. They called me to set up the appointment i asked them over the phone whats the cost the lady said $0. When i get there the guy wants to charge me $170. Stay away from this dealer.

    Too long, didn't read: There are other dealerships. Go somewhere else. I had a very negative experience with this dealership. I worked with Dulce, one of the salesperson. She lacked knowledge on the car she was trying to sell me, and answered my questions with the typical salesperson tactics. I felt she was dishonest, unprofessional, and incompetent in the process. She was also not knowledgeable on common lease terms that any car salesperson should be familiar with. She said "we do not do closed-ended leases here" when in fact they ONLY do CLOSED-ended leases. I was also not given things that were promised during the negotiation process with Dulce. I spent hours in this dealership because they take their sweet time with every single step. Employees are all chatting in a room while people wait hours sitting in the waiting area. I was dispatched with a new car in hand but with a sour taste of the entire situation. I was treated so poorly towards the end that I almost drop the deal. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you choose a different dealership.

    Julain Robles was so helpful to give us the best deal. I was set on an OTD price that I would pay for my car and he made it possible. The only thing that left a bad taste in our experience was the Finance Manager Riza. She said she was upset with the deal we got and she doesn't understand why they gave it to us. She said we took advantage of the dealership. What??? Instead of congratulating us with the new car that's how she greeted us. When I didn't purchase extra warranty she said I made a mistake and that my car will break for sure and I don't have this extra warranty. What a nice way to treat customers. She even commented that there are other Honda dealers near me so why did I have to go with them. If you have any issues with the sale, talk to your Sales Dept instead of taking out your frustrations with the customer.

    I had a great experience at Honda of Downtown. Got a beautiful brand new Honda Civic and the process was very smooth. From the moment I entered till signing by the end of the day Jerry (Jr) Herrera, one of the sales people was extremely kind and helpful. The manager Jerry Arroyo really worked with me to understand my needs and find a deal and price that was suited to my needs. And finally Mario Medina, the finance manager, helped seal the deal walking me through all the contracts and going to great lengths to get me the final deal exactly as I wanted. As a testament to his customer service, he remembered me from over 2 years ago when I came to get my first car at this exact dealership.

    I recently bought a Honda Accord here and I love it. The salesman was nice and didn’t seem pushy. However I give this place 1 star because they add on optional items such as paint protection, security system and oil changes at an extra charge without telling you! They make it seem like it’s included and when I asked them if I could decline they didn’t say no. It’s hard enough being and young woman buying a car on her own as it is, I feel taken advantage of after this place. I thought they seemed nice and trustworthy but I should’ve known not to let my guard down at a dealership.

    We came here from Sacramento to purchase our new 2022 CRV EX Hybrid. Adam Barragan made the whole process super simple.     The people were decently nice but they charged me $180 to just check my car, even though I had just bought the car Honda Certified 2 weeks prior. I didn’t have them fix anything because they would have charged me over a grand even though I am under warranty. I had been to a different Honda but couldn’t leave my car there and they didn’t charge me. The original dealer also said the car is under bumper to bumper coverage and should not be charged at any Honda. DTLA Honda said the $180 was because they had to charge for the check since I have an after market alarm, but when I took it back to the original Honda I bought it from they took the car apart and said there was no after market alarm. They even had their specialist who deals with after market alarms check, and he said there wasn’t one. So that was false information. It felt like I got duped.

    This review does not reflect my entire experience at Honda of DTLA. I had inquired online for a 2022 Civic Hatchback Sport and I was quoted the MSRP plus dealer accessories. I shopped around and the deal was definitely competitive. I asked the online team if we can negotiate the price on the addons. They advised that the price can be negotiated since it's the end of the year, but that it can only be done in person. I drove out from Riverside to DTLA just to experience the good old "Bait and Switch". I arrived for my appointment and Jesse the Sales associate was great! I advised him in regards to what I was told by the online team on negotiating the final price. Jesse the sales associate called over Joe the floor manager. Right away his demeanor was bland at best, compared to his sales associate and other staff. Joe advised there will be no negotiating on the price of the addons and that I can just go to a different dealer if I don't agree. He came off as very arrogant when he advised me that I would be back. I did end up buying the car due to the added value of the limited powertrain warranty. However, I hope they do honor it when the times comes and they don't pull a fast one again. I ask Quincy the Online Sales Director to please honor their word and not have the customer drive out one hour just to be told differently. I wish this wasn't my first impression of Honda of DTLA when buying a car. They genuinely seem like a good dealership with competitive pricing.

    When arriving you are greeted very quickly and connected with an available salesperson. Everyone is very kind and helpful. The salesperson who helped me, Robert, was very helpful in every way. He was willing to work with me and very patient. Anytime we asked for a moment to discuss he didn’t hesitate to accommodate. At finance we worked with Delphine and she was just as amazing as Robert.     Walked in just for information & left in my new car! Joe was super helpful explaining the Honda maintenance plans, security system, and lifetime warranty. The fact that there was NO dealer markup on top of the sticker price was a deciding factor in my spontaneous trade-in.     Going to take some time of my day to write this review. Let me start with the customer service from the helpful Honda guy Michael Kim was on point. He is very knowledgeable about the product he is selling. Michael was with us the whole time from start to finish. I also want to shine some light on the Sales Manager DILLON best experience when interacting with the SALE MANAGER, his Dedication in getting you approved and working with the banks to get you the best rate was awesome. Dillon was very informative throughout the whole process. We were able to cut a deal very fast and simple none of this cat and mouse game, that other dealers do. Dillon was straight to the point. I highly recommend purchasing your vehicle at Honda of downtown the home of the lifetime powertrain warranty and the best part of it is they don't charge you extra for this warranty all their vehicles come with a LIFETIME powertrain warranty. What made me purchase the vehicle from Honda of Downtown was for the same exact reason THE WARRANTY no other Honda dealer provides you with it. Do not buy from the other Honda stores ONLY AT HONDA OF DOWNTOWN the #1 place to purchase a new or a Honda certify used car.     Andres is the only reason this rating gets any star. Andres is amazing, Honda does not deserve him. I had an appointment for break inspection, checked in at approximately 12pm. They had me waiting for over 4hrs—close to 5hrs! Only to tell me that my car had not been inspected and it’ll take additional time to inspect. After “inspection” (took about 5 mins) I was confirmed with what I already knew, I needed breaks and break pads but the parts weren’t available so I had to leave my car overnight. The entire process was a whole mess. No one seems to know anything in that place. Hence, management has extremely poor skills in customer service. Additionally, the tools for my tires were lost in the process and I noticed the mileage AND gas on my vehicle were NOT how I left them when the car was checked in. I had almost a full tank and my gas was about 3 gallons less than when I dropped it off. Nonetheless the mileage was more than it should have been. This experience definitely does not leave me with any desire to return.

    I’m nearing a week on buying my first ever car and I’m so happy to say that I had a great experience on the process. I went in two different days, and both days I was helped by Anthony Garcia. First day, I looked at a couple cars and even test drove one. But since it was the first dealer I visited, I let him know that I wanted to keep my options open and keep looking at other dealers as well. He was okay with it and also went ahead and showed us price comparisons between this location and others. Funny thing is, I didnt believe him only for me to go to one and it be true. I did call up other locations but the price estimate that Anthony had given me seemed like the best deal. I’m glad that he had given me his number, so I called him back and since the car I was interested in was the only one available, he told me to come in at 9am the next day since that was the time they opened. I was able to test drive it (I wasn’t able to the day before) and I fell in love with the car and knew I wanted it, but now it was time for the financing. I appreciate the time and patience he had with me because I was very back and forth which shouldn’t be a bad thing, since it’s my first ever car purchase and I want to make sure I’m getting a good deal. But he was sure to give me and my family privacy when asked and like I said before, was very patient with all the questionsI had. He answered everything and explained many things to me and just want to say that he is very good at his job. So in the end, I left that day 3/27/22 with a brand new 2022 civic hatchback sport in sonic gray, and I’m very happy with the experience I had, and I definitely recommend! Will be sure to let friends and family know to visit Anthony when they’re looking for a Honda!

    First time at this location and I would say there customer service is AMAZING!! Alfredo Mejia was my Service Advisor. He was very helpful and very knowledgeable to what my car needed done.     I went in for a 30K car maintenance service & window seal strip replacement. I was advised strip would be covered under warranty and I was quoted $350 for the service with a turnaround of three hours. I got a call three hours later expecting to pick up my car and I was advised service would be $500, window seal strip $200, and that I would have to leave my car overnight. Even if it wasn’t intentional, it definitely felt like a bait and switch. I understand things happen, but representative definitely misrepresented what was to be expected. And the way they let me know what was going to happen like it was at zero inconvenience to me was off-putting. Doubling a bill and leaving a customer carless with no accommodation is careless customer service. Feels more like sales than it does service.

    I came in for an oil change and unfortunately there was some miscommunication and I wasn’t notified that my car was done. I waited 3 hours but the staff was GREAT about taking care of me. They reduced the price of my oil change and were very apologetic. I respect that they acknowledged their mishap and took care of me. Quality way to run a business. Will definitely be returning here.

    It was my first time getting a car and I had the pleasure of working with Miguel and David. Being that it was my first time purchasing a car, Miguel T. was very thorough with me about the process. He gave me an option that was best for me at the time and initially I was skeptical of the car choice because it wasn't the car I wanted. (Of course, when you have no source of income you can't get your desired car). Nonetheless, it ran well and was small just how I like it! Since it is a used car, i did run into one problem with a leak, but David H was very kind to get it fixed immediately with no extra charge. In no time, I was able to leave the lot for good with my purchased vehicle. The service of my entire experience was great. Especially when I rang the bell after my purchase (: When you go to Honda, ask them "Where's Miguel and David H.?", you won't be sorry :D

    I needed a sturdy car to drive from DTLA to Irvine and San Diego. My 2008 Honda Fit was too old for the long drives to work. I called Honda of Downtown Los Angeles and got immediate help.     After purchasing a Honda Accord from them, I am left with mixed feelings. Kathryn, their internet manager, was amazing to work with and helped me get a good deal on the car. Emmad, another person we worked with after purchasing the car was amazing too. I would do business with these two again in a heartbeat. However I was very disappointed in David, one of their sales manager. He was very difficult to deal with, made the sale experience frustrating (although the deal was already done by the time I had to deal with him) and wasted a ton of my time by insisting on us picking the car up that day even though I made it clear that I would pay for that car that day (deposit or in full) and get it the next day due to timing. But after driving for more than an hour, he wanted us to get the car off the lot, so he can have that sale count towards that day with complete disregard to what I was trying to tell him. His demeanor was offputting, and I came close to walking away from a good deal because of him. Quite frankly, for as long as he’s in that dealership as a sales manager, I will not be purchasing any cars from them. He ruined the experience of purchasing a new car for us. I have serviced my old Honda for several years with them but I don’t really intend on going back there anytime soon.

    At a purchase time of my CR-V in this dealership they said that I had to pay for some "door shields" (actually just stickers at the door edges) since they were installed already (for 400$!). Actually I didn't need this twenty-dollars-cost feature for 400$, but I agreed to pay because they said it had beed installed already and couldn't be unmounted. Next morning when I picked my car up I saw out that there were no shields installed. Manager said that they will install them tomorrow. Now, after 4+ months they are still not installed. I visited dealership, wrote emails and got only promises "we will call you tomorrow". Now they just don't answer to my emails. So I just lost 400$. Awful service, can't recommend it.

    Terrible. We called to get a price and went to Downtown only to learn we got the wrong price. We ordered two replacement keys, and when we went to pick them up the Honda dealership made only one. Multiple phone calls from the dealer to return the rental car. We didn’t rent a car from Honda. No Shuttle available so we walked home, then walked back later. Half a day wasted. Worst experience ever.

    I just came back from the Honda dealership of LA earlier today on a Sunday afternoon. The sales floor was quite busy with plenty of customers. I was looking at an SUV, but realistically thinking I would end up with a Civic in the back of my mind. In the end, Mario helped me get what I wanted! Mario Medina and Ignacio took absolute care to ensure what I was looking for. I ended up with what I truly wanted in the CR-V with the ideal monthly financing option. Mario was the first professional salesmen I came across and I felt comfortable enough to not give anyone else a chance. Both Mario and Ignacio understood what I was looking for and took care of it for me. The whole negotiating process was easy, straight forward, and ended with a hand shake. I would absolutely recommend my friends and family to go to this dealership and speak with Mario Medina. Another big shout out to Will from Allstate getting me the insurance coverage on the CR-V. Thanks guys at Honda of LA. I will be back for the services down the road!

    I’m not sure why this place has such high reviews, but after confirming most, if not all, are non black, it makes sense. Extremely discriminatory and predatorial . First, I was given a completely different price than what was advertised. It took the dealership hours to correct this. Then I was told my credit was not high enough and needed a co-signer, after adding a consigner, I was given the run around by Collin Kerr and his team. I was in the dealership from 10 AM to 6 PM and still didnt leave with a vehicle. In between that time, I left for one hour to attend a class because although I told the entire staff I am in law school and have a class, they did not care and even tried to blame my leaving for one hour on the wait. HThey also tried to blame my co-signer for taking too long but it only took one hour. My co-signer is my 68 year old father who doesn’t know how to use technology well. And even still, it was concluded by 2 pm and I was at the dealership for four hours after that. Colin Kerr told me to “leave your deposit and we’ll figure out what your car note is later”. Please. Why would I leave money with an irresponsible bc car salesman who doesn’t know features of the car, doesn’t know where his phone is and is discriminatory towards black women? That’s stupid. Eventually, after getting annoyed and having to verbally express how disgusting and disappointed I was, I found out through my credit monitoring app that that they never ran my credit. They ran my credit at 6 pm when I was talking to the salesmen about how disrespected I felt. They assumed I would need a co signer.. assuming although the last car I was in (totaled by a drunk driver) was completely in my name. Now here is where the discrimination starts. From the beginning, Colin Kerr was derogatory towards blsck women. He talked down on “Shaquita” and “cha nay nay” for needing assistance with their down payment on the vehicle. Referring to a black woman who purchased a car the night before, Those were clearly not their names, but the names he gave black women who did not fit the mold he believed deserves respect. He even detailed to me his Mexican co workers being preferred over him because of the predominantly Mexican population in the area. This was evident due to the lack of care I received, and how multiple Hispanic buyers were prioritized over me, even when they did not eventually buy a car. This place is absolutely horrendous and I would advise everyone to steer clear. Additionally, the next day I went and got a newer car, less miles and a better car note than I probably would’ve gotten with them. All without a co-signer.

    I took my CRV 2016 to fix my air condition (to make it colder) They tested and then decided to add a pound of Freon or gas. Drove it for ten min, came back because was not getting cold. Upon arrival started to get cold And manager tested “ok”, and sent me home. I Went home and air didn’t work anymore I came back next day. At 9:40am, and wait for it. At 3:45 pm I went to ask henry for my car, and he said they were working on it. 30 min later he comes back and saiid to me. they could not fix it And ask me to come back next day at 6:30 (he was going to help me) but I call at 7:00 and they said his shift started at 10. Try to get in touch with him, twice, and left him a message , Never heard of him. Today, I am very disappointed with Honda dealer 2007 bought them my Honda Civic 2016 bought my CRV, and they can not fix it Alfonso ugalde

    A special THANK YOU to Jesse, Andy, and Riza for making this experience amazing!! I was so nervous on my way to the dealership and Jesse (Sales Consultant) greeted me and my sister with the warmest welcome easing my nerves. I came to the dealership with the intention to lease a 2022 Honda HR-V LX however they didn't have any in stock and I was super bummed out because that was the car I really wanted. Jesse suggested that I check out the 2022 Honda HR-V Sport instead which is a step up from the LX. I agreed, took it for a drive and absolutely loved the car. Jesse was very knowledgeable about the car details and specifications. He definitely did his job because now I was very interested in seeing if I would be able to lease the Sport. Being that the the Sport was a little more than the LX, Jesse said he was certain that they could help me stay within my budget and that they did. Andy (Floor Manager) came back with the BEST possible deal I could ask for (literally the best deal). I agreed and I was set to lease my new 2022 Honda HR-V Sport or so I thought. But it gets even better y'all! Riza (Finance Manager) is in charge of writing up the paperwork, the final step in the process. She welcomed me into her office with the biggest smile ever and some great news. She saw that I planned to lease the vehicle but since my credit score is pretty good, she told me about the finance option which was WAY better than the leasing option. I really appreciated her transparency and giving me the option to lease or finance. She thoroughly explained the differences between both options and I went with the finance option. I couldn't have been happier! She definitely knows her stuff and really helped me so much! Thank you! Car dealerships are known to be aggressive, pushy, only care about the dealerships quotas, etc. but Honda DTLA was nothing like that. These three staff members truly made this a pleasant, easy experience. From the time I walked in until the time I walked out with my brand new SUV and the process was short and sweet. I left with my brand new car the same day. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Honda DTLA and definitely ask for Jesse. He did an amazing job helping me purchase my SUV. Excellence customer service, knowledgeable, patient, and friendly, what more could I ask for! The biggest THANK YOU again to Jesse, Andy, and Riza! I appreciate you all so much!

    Disappointed in my experience while trying to purchase a vehicle. While I agreed with a price with a “manager”, he shook my hand and, took my card, and got my signature just to come back and tell me he can’t do it and I had settle for a higher price. I was ready to take the vehicle and they changed the price on me. I then wanted to take my business elsewhere and when I tried to take a sheet with my signature on it, the “manager” ran away and disposed of it because he never gave it back like I asked. They came back with a different paper with a different price. Another “manager” came and told me it was an honest mistake, and I told him I was upset that he didn’t do his due diligence before he decided to shake my hand and take my card and trying to get super intimate and assertive about the price. He stated they do it all the time and it’s a common sales tactic to agree on a price and raise the price at the very end. Not the mention the “are you gonna take it or not attitude.” They stated it doesn’t matter because they can sell the vehicle to someone else for a higher profit. On a personal note talking to Omar and Andy felt unprofessional due to their frequent habit of lying. They then left the sales rep Rodolfo, who was great by the way, by himself to take responsibility for their actions. Which he tried to explain his “managers” actions but I told him it was not necessary. At the end of the day Omar and Andy tried to make me look like a fool in the end and it wasn’t appreciated.

    I’ve given this dealership multiple opportunities and most of my experiences have been negative. Service has always taken 3-4 longer than the promised time. I was there last week to get new front brakes and AC service due to the defective AC condenser. They said they don’t provide shuttle service or Uber’s anymore due to Covid-19. This seems like a lame excuse as other dealers still provide this service or provide loaners. I learned today that a lady got a Uber ride to pick up her car with the same rep that helped me. Either they lied or they are picking and choosing who they call Uber rides for. I got my 2016 Civic here and then went to Santa Monica Honda to get my 2019 Civic because Downtown Honda try to rip me off. The same car I got in Santa Monica Honda for $100 less per month. I’m not sure if it’s management, but this dealership seems to find ways to be shady!!

    Be sure to read all paperwork very carefully. I purchased Honda Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and was not provided all items required of a certified preowned (2 keys, new floormats(the ones provided were damaged), or new tires if the wear was greater than 50%). All of the requirements are outlined in the 182-Point Inspection Checklist. Be sure you read through it yourself before purchase, don’t make the same mistake I did.

    A 2-hour oil change? I've had several Honda's that have been serviced here and everyone is super nice and friendly. But unfortunately they put you through the ringer any time you step in the doors with lease trade-ins, buy backs, etc. A simple oil change is now a two hour process where I was called TWICE during my wait time to either trade-in or buy back my car. I understand the service center is attached to the dealership but it makes a relatively simple process anywhere else turn into a huge waste of time. Good people, great service but they don't respect your time.

    We had a wonderful experience purchasing our vehicle at Honda of Downtown Los Angeles. It is difficult to get a car of ones choice nowadays, but Honda of Los Angeles made it possible in record time. I had the pleasure of working first with internet manager Kevin Esquivel, who was professional and responsive, wonderful to work with. On arrival in person we were handed off to the able hands of Christian Marquez. We cannot say enough good things about Christian. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and totally responded to our needs perfectly. The vehicle we were looking for was not available the first day, but Christian informed us as soon as he heard of a shipment due to arrive and we quickly booked the car. Christian took care of finances, insurance as we sent the necessary paperwork to him. All we had to do was sign papers on our arrival. We now have a dream car before Christmas for our daughter only because of Christian and are grateful to him. He responded to messages well after his work hours, always on top of things, well beyond call of duty. Thank you Kevin, Christian and Honda of Downtown Los Angeles.

    Great customer service. Weeks before my lease was up, I reached out to Yordi Miranda and specifically told him what I want, i.e., car model and color. When I went to turn in my old car, Yordi welcomed me and was very attentive, helpful and friendly. The entire process was done smoothly.     Bad service + no service = Downtown Honda First of all I spent 14 minutes on hold before somebody got to me. Secondly they NO LONGER DELIVER PARTS....... I've been in this business of over 25 yrs, and I have never ever heard of a dealer that doesn't deliver parts, unheard of.

    I called to get more information about leasing a vehicle. This is my first time trying to do so. The gentleman who answered the phone asked me for my name and call back number “in case we were to get disconnected.” He proceeded to be pushy about asking for my exact credit score. When I gave him a range of 780-800 he decided to hang up on. He did not attempt to call back. I think this persons name is either Geo or David. Regardless, don’t look to purchase or lease a vehicle with them or at this establishment. You’ll find better service at New Century Honda located in Glendale.
