Just want to clarify that the reason we did not answer the phone is because we had been struck by lightning and all systems, telephone, fax, internet were down. As things did begin to come back, we were limited as to what was working including telephone lines and answering systems.

Here is a novel idea... ANSWER THE PHONE!!! Seriously no answering machine even???

I understand that things take time or that there might be hickups, but when the title company drops the ball by NOT following thru the regular steps of a transaction and then do not make an effort to accomodate the client to a smooth closing, to me that is distasteful. The lack of customer service in this day and age is completely unacceptable.
