I used HomeSource Mortgage for a loan for a New Construction home and closed in early June 2021. All went very well with Claudia providing an overview of their process and details and providing a very competitive interest rate. The mortgage loan team member our point of contact who managed my loan was Lucy who is outstanding and I highly recommend that she gets a sufficient merit raise because she really went the extra mile for our family during the loan process. The reason I say this is because my loan was for new construction and I was at that time living out of state moving in as a new resident. With new construction we had about three delays with closings being rescheduled and certain items having to be resubmitted and updated. Lucy was phenomenal at contacting me and maintaining a line of communication and cooperating with me on my specific requests. The delays with the new construction home closing were not a fault of no one, just delivery delays of construction items and severe weather delaying construction. I highly recommend Homesource Mortgage as Claudia and her team did a great job in assuring our family closed on our home.

My experience with Homesource was overall very good. Claudia was very helpful in helping me understand the home buying process and what is involved, as I am a first time home buyer. I am not a numbers person so the breakdowns were much appreciated. I did have some issues with the girl who worked on my file due to them needing last minute documents that should have been requested weeks prior, and pushed our closing date back a week (this is why I give 4 stars out of 5). Thankfully, Claudia worked with us in getting the keys to move in before closing occurred and I appreciated that greatly.
