Bank of America (with Drive-thru services) Reviews

This is the worst BOA I’ve ever been to. There was a line that stretched out to the door and they only had one teller. On top of that, the teller took around 20 minutes per person. Don’t waste your time. If you can to another bank, do it. If you’re planning on opening up an account, choose another bank. You’ll thank me later

    Response from the owner

Nena is the worst teller I've dealt with. She has no customer service skills. Saw her stop helping a customer to just talk with another one she knows holding up a line. She needs to be out of there she's horrible at her job.

This is absolutely the worst bank I’ve ever been to. From customer service all the way to atms. My employer uses this bank and in 1 year there has never been 1 time my visit has been less than 1 hr. That’s even if I’m the only one in line. Never less than an hr. They forgot to give me my ID back once and never tried contacting me to let me know. I finally asked about a month later and they still had it. Absolutely worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Would not recommend to anyone.

Rude! Gossiping instead of actually helping customers. Sad, excuse for such a big company, oh well just imagine there kids and families, if these employees are there example in life. Gross! Stay away from this bank! Grow up at least try to Act like grown ups and so called professionals.. You are getting Paid to offer customer service right? Managers explain that to your Loser staff, If you have any Respect for your job.

I've had BOA for 15 years plus .....this is by far the worst branch. Not only did it create an inconvenience that there are only two branches in corpus, neither close to the island, but this is the second time I've driven all the way to this location and ALL the atms be either down or not accepting cash. This has never been a problem in any other city I've lived in. The last time I went inside to deposit cash the line was to the door with one teller. I'd never thought I'd say it but after years of being loyal, I think it's time to switch banks.

The hours for the drive through are 9am to 5pm. How does that help anyone who works? They have 12 lanes. Two regular and one commercial are open on a Friday afternoon. Seriously?? Their service is the slowest I have ever experienced at any bank. Okay, it's a year since the above review. No improvement. They still only have 2 personal and 1 commercial lane open on a Friday afternoon. Been in line for 14 minutes, it'll be at least 20 minutes before I get to the teller. Still the worst customer service!!

1 teller working on a Friday morning?! Come on. You can do better than that! 10 people waiting in line while other bank workers don’t appear busy.

This place is a joke I have a Sedona and Buisness account and it’s very inconvenient. They have 1or 2 tellers for drive thru and lobby! They need to shut this location down!

Absolutely the Worst customer service. They only ever have one teller because they want people to use the online service and not come in. The wait is always 20-40 minutes to just cash a check.

I’ve been a BofA customer for 22 years now since I was 18. Sadly, this branch has a frequently closed drive thru and the lobby can’t handle the workload. Texas is well past any covid related capacity restrictions and this branch is suffering. I know everyone is suffering during the pandemic but this banks ability to attract or retain employees should be reviewed. Banks make enough off interest and other peoples money to pay their tellers and power level staff a good living wage. Won’t visit this branch again if the drive thru is closed. Especially h the day everyone knows is popular because of payday.

    Response from the owner

Hello Jesse. We are doing our best to remain open to serve our clients while implementing changes within our financial centers to follow CDC and government guidelines. As such, some locations may be either temporarily closed or operating at adjusted hours. If you’d like to visit an alternative financial center, please click the following link for the most up-to-date info on our centers http://go.bofa.com/Locator. Also, when new information is available regarding openings and hours, the website will be updated. Your feedback is important to us and we'll share this with our leadership team. ^mark

I don't know if all locations or just this one, but I just needed some papers notarized that I got from them,. Was turned away at the door because the lady outside said some system was down. What that has to do with getting papers notarized I have no clue. I took off of work just to to take care of this. Extremely disappointed in the lack of service and explanation of why they couldn't notarized the documents they ask me to get notarized.

How are people with jobs supposed to use the drive through for deposits etc. 9-4pm hours are ridiculous! Hours need to be extended till at least 6pm.
