    I called a day before payment was withdrawal from my account so I can start my process a little later do to personal reasons and finances. The guy that answered the phone told me he would take care of the situation. I wake up the next day they charged my account, when I called to rectify the situation I was placed on hold for thirty to forty-five minutes and they hang up the phone. Expecting them to honor my refund I gave them seven business days and no refund. I contact them during normal business hours and no one was available ironically. Every other time I've called I received someone immediately, but because I was calling for a refund no one is available to speak to me. Poor Customer Service on their end.

    Stay away from these people they are worthless! They take money out of your account whenever they want to. They provide you with the wrong information. Customer service is horrible and rude!! Credit scores isn’t accurate and when you try to cancel with them they want to know why!! Be aware!!!!

    Used home loans and at first they were pretty good. However after awhile they would give me no updates. When I called to see what was happening I got the same remarks as if it was a cookie cutter response. Finally when it felt like I was getting nothing for my money I decided to quit. I was promised immediate communication and results And to give it 3 months. Shockingly after 3 months I saw nothing and didn’t even get a call. Overall I would look elsewhere as the results and the way they treat you is very lacking.

    So I have been working with this company for almost a year. I informed them of my credit background and the major issues that I wanted to address specifically. When I called and spoke to someone 3 months prior, they offered to give me 2 free months of service, and charge me for the final month during my last billing cycle. After 3 months of actually living life, I only remembered that this service was still active because of the payment that showed up. I than called in to cancel remembering I had to do so, THREE DAYS AFTER the last payment. They offered the same thing again, 2 months free and the final payment... But when I refused they informed me that I needed to pay for this month ALSO, because we are 3 days into the cycle.... I asked what work has been done... and the response was they printed out letters to send to the bureau and have not sent them yet... So in other words I am being charged for them to send letters that they KNOW will not receive a response and will do absolutely nothing for me. To top all of that off, I asked to speak with a manager and the representative told me he would submit my request to "David" and when I asked if I was being transferred, he said "No he isn't in the office yet." and literally hung up on me. To say I am dissatisfied is the understatement of an already rough 2021 for most people. Oh and just to add... it is YOUR responsibility as the customer to call THEM, to find out what they are doing and what services they have been able to provide. Do not expect them to EVER call to update you on anything.

    watch yourself when you call and cancel they will still take one more payment from you. My credit didn't change due to the work they did. I would run. 3 items came off my report but on different credit reports. One came of Transunion , one Equifax and one Experian. After several months my score did not change. For 100 dollars a month I would expect to see something change on one of the reports. Also the portal for the most part keeps you in the dark. You see line items saying they mailed stuff but cant see what's been mailed or easily tell how the progress is going or what's coming next. Even canceling is difficult and uncomfortable. He waited on the phone for me to place my 5 star review for him before doing a cancelation. Then they ask why and are super nosey about it.. Run!

    I would give them zero for me. A lender told me to call that company. that they would help me repair my credit to buy my house. I contacted them and the one who started to take my case was Miss Nelly. she very attentively began to work with the Realto and the lender telling him that in August I was ready to buy. they supposedly started working on my credit and my wife's at first went up somewhat. later Nelly communicates with me and tells me that I had to pay two debts to get the loan. I pay them to the bank. The lady tells me that she was almost ready to buy she contacted my lender. and he tells me to fill out the application that the only thing he needed me to have 620 points. When they ran my credit I had 587 after 6 months working with them. in the end I was better before I met them as a company I had 604. In the end I got depressed I couldn't buy and they charged me $ 1,134.00. When I complained they told me that they do not work with the same score as the lender. It's a scam, don't waste your money, fix it yourself

    Home loans assist is an Amazon company. I had to do a loan modification years ago and even though I paid my loan mod payments on time Bank of America still reported my mortgage payments as lates and there was a ton of them. Home loans assist not only cleaned up every last one of those they also brought my credit scores close to 800. I am forever Indebted to Brittany Maes and the Entire Home loans assist family. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking to fix there credit report and scores. Thank you Home Loans Assist. 🙏

    I’ve been using Home Assist for almost a year and was calling to terminate my services with them, just to cut some off a few extra bills. When my representative Mark came on the line with me he showed the best way to use the company, he gave me some great tips on how to raise my credit on my own.     Stay away, all the 1 star reviews are correct. The others are made up! This company knows how to sell you on their services because they thrive on the desperate, and know exactly what you want to hear. It all comes out professional, but its all fake. They claim they “mail” out requests to various companies of various information, in homes that the companies provide something inaccurate or wrong. Sounds believable. Ask them to provide the proof of mailing and the copies of the documents. After they will say its against company policy, you should quickly understand that its all a scam. Stay away, don't waste time and hope!

    So far, I have had a very good experience with Home Loans Assist. They are helping me to repair my credit to prepare for home ownership. I started with Melvin and my rep has changed to Owen Troutman. Melvin was great at getting my acct started and now Owen has continued with answering all of my questions. He took quite a bit of time explain helpful scenarios and necessary steps to take moving forward. I have seen results since I started just one month ago.     I have been with HLA now going on 3 months. I called in to have my payment set on a certain date. HLA took it upon themselves to run my debit card without my approval for $200 3 weeks before my date that I had setup. I called in and said that had a glitch in the system, I said that is fine, can you go ahead refund my $200 so that I can pay my bills. They said no but they will make sure that it does not happen again. Now I am out of pocket for $200 and My wife is out of work till school starts backup, that is why i had them delay my payment. This company my be fraud. I went and looked them up with other review sites.. If someone contact me from the company I will retract my post.

    Dexter was very helpful. He was friendly to talk to and was able to help me understand the actions Home Loans Assist has taken to improve my credit. I had some questions regarding the balance of my credit card and the best way to approach taking down the balance.     If I could give 0 stars, I would. This “company” is a joke. They take your money every month, and do nothing for you and your credit. There is never an communication until you have an issue and go to the BBB to warn others not to use them! Please, do not waste your time and money with Home Loans Assist. It’s been nothing but hell since we decided to use them August 2020. This place has scam written all over it! Which becomes obvious when you realize they aren’t BBB accredited!

    I’ve been working with them for some time now. Most of the investigations have been successfully removed. They have worked with me in being very flexible with the payments. Cris Giroldo was extremely helpful in getting my payment dates pushed back, due to unforeseen measures, and was still able to give me my credit update. I would like to see more positive evidence in my credit scores, however, I will definitely continue working with them. Cris was great!!!

    I started this and was very excited from all the reviews! I have been in it for a month and a half and just got my first piece of advice the other day since the day I enrolled. I actually have no idea what’s happening and just get told to call on a specific date and that it’s my 90 days and they will check my credit then to see where I’m at. It’s actually well over 90 days for the date they tell me to call. I uploaded a document to my portal like they said and then called to have it reviewed and see what actions I should take. The guy I spoke with said he can’t find it and he’s not good with technology and asked me to read the letter, so I did and did get advice from it. I have multiple unanswered emails. They were great at responding the first 2 weeks, but since not so much. I wish I was told originally that I would be left clueless for over 3 months. I have had zero responses from anything on my credit that I’m aware of. So, I will check back in 4 months after enrollment to see if anything has changed or if I’m just out over $400.

    I was referred to HLA by a mortgage broker to assist on improving my credit score. I had no idea my credit was that bad! I immediately enrolled in the program in August and since then my score has gone up dramatically and I'm receiving letters from my credit card companies that my credit limit has increased! I just want to thank Kristina and her team for all of the hard work they have put into fixing my credit! You guys are the best and I highly recommend this service for anyone that needs some serious credit repair!

    I am currently going on 30 minutes waiting on hold to speak with a customer service agent. I was told last month when I finally got through to someone that my account would be cancelled. I got charged again this month and wanted to make sure I wasn't going to get charged again, but no one will respond. It's been over 4 months now, 500 dollars and no results. I already purchased a home because I wasn't going to let another opportunity go in hopes that you guys could get my score up and save me a few thousand dollars. I'm not sure what you guys did for what I paid you, but know that you have a dissatisfied customer.

    If your loan guy refers you to these people GET RID OF HIM/HER. You will not see results. You will see just charges. There is no discount. You will further get into debt with these people. Do yourself a favor and don’t use them. It seem nice but trust me you just be adding new and unnecessary debt. They are so aggressive when it comes to you leaving. Just don’t! You’re better off watching YouTube for free advice on how to fix your own credit.

    We were signed up by Derrick Schwab with a 3-month deal and told that within that period he would help us increase our score. However, that was not the case at all my credit was never cleaned. My conversations with him were that they sent letters and disputed items on our behalf & etc…. I never received a single phone call or letter from anyone that was disputed. There was no leg work done on his behalf I had to contact the creditors. We paid a total of $500 with no results!

    They have been awesome in helping me with my credit. They are also willing to work with me when I'm falling behind on payments. For example, Daniel was amazing in helping me plan out my next steps while I was moments from having a breakdown. I can't say that about too many places anymore.

    We used this service for over a year almost two years . In that time the one credit issue that I wanted to have solved the most was never solved! And my credit score only went up by less than 50 points at any given time and is now lower than it was to start off with. We started trying to cancel the service in September and at this point 12/9/21 they claim the last payment is going to be the 14th of December. We will see. Back at the beginning I had told a friend in the mortgage Game that I had hired a credit repair company he told me that it was going to be very very hard to get them to cancel the service and I will say he was very correct. they offer no guarantees and their communication to their clientele is very poor almost nonexistent. No one answers the phone when you call in and their use of autodialers is obnoxious to say the least. The autodailer will call and tell you that you need to call and speak to someone on your team but when you call it you are either put on eternal hold or promised a call back which seldom happens or you get another autodialer call sometimes days later after they have billed you again. the other thing that I noticed in dealing with them is you almost never get the same person on the phone. It only happened once in almost two years of dealing with them. They did get several things removed from my report. But it was not in a timely manner. Bottom line is that the credit reporting agencies / services play by whatever rules they want to there is not a governed protocol for these credit businesses or reporting agencies. They basically do what they want and big business plays right into it. Politely I ask you to GFY. Amen have a wonderful life!

    I had faith in this company because someone told me they were great. Unfortunately they like to leave things out until after you pay them and then they like to wait for you to call up and say something about it then tell you their policy lol. Not only that but they make you pay at the end of the 30 days for the previous month which is whatever but I paid December 14th for the previous 30 days and it’s only December 9th and they took away all access to what I paid for. I’m unable to access my credit report that they pulled on November 24 and I’m also unable to see any investigations they sent out even though I was able to before. When you terminate with them, they punish you by taking away access to what you paid for. Then they come up with a whole bunch of legal/policy conversation to justify their actions even though it’s theft, legal theft, but theft nonetheless. Come on people, be transparent instead of shady. It’s a better look. Glad you got your moneys worth out of me but I’ll never trust a “credit repair” company again. I will state that they did get rid of a lot on my credit, it’s just that some of the things they do and say, or don’t say, is very shady at best and I just can’t stand that.

    We initially started working with this company from the advise of a mortgage broker we were working with when trying to buy a house. They may have sent some letters, but never advised us what to pay off and what to do. As far as we're concerned, they didn't do anything. We went with a different mortgage company that told us exactly what to pay off to get our numbers up where they needed. SIX months later and we still cannot get them to cancel our service.     I had such a hard time cancelling my service with this company! I finally got through today and they finally cancelled - after giving me a hard time and trying to tell me how much good they've done so far - but refused to refund me, even tho I called in last month and also earlier this month. I have been with them for a few months, and the money I spent I could have used to pay off my bills. I'll be honest, I don't have the best of credit (which is why i'm obviously using this service) but there have been no credit changes in the 6 months of their service. I asked what they have done for me, and the answer was they removed 7 late payments off my report and 2 collections - which btw they did not remove - I did a pay to delete myself. They claimed they mailed letters to the bureaus but I have yet to receive anything from anywhere that an investigation has been started. STAY AWAY.

    Initially started out great. Great response time. Saw some positive changes to our credit report. We’ve been with them for approx 6 months possibly longer. They said we would be receiving some “letters” following their investigations... we have yet to receive ONE. We have been inching up to better credit score because of what WE’VE done (paying on time, etc) and not anything they’ve done. Tried teaching them all day. Left numerous messages - no call back. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

We are also glad to hear and that you saw a positive change to your Wife’s credit file. Since our partnership began, we had great success with your wife’s credit file. We identified several items in question, in which 9 of those erroneous items were removed from her credit report. In addition to 13 questionable items surrounding timing off payments. All of these questionable items were also removed. These items were weighted heavily on her score and with the success that we had through our investigation process we were able to increase the financial health of her overall credit file. There were several attempts to reach you and provide you with an update to discuss the progress made on the file. Nine phone calls in which we were able to connect with you six times. Typically, we have a touch point with our clients every quarter, which allows times for the investigations to run their course and allow the credit reporting agencies to potential updated and or correct information. My hope is that we would have done a better job explaining this process and the timing of everything during one of the six conversations we have had with you over the past several months. This also would have given us the chance to speak to the letter responses from the credit bureaus. While in the past the three respective credit bureaus would send out responses due to investigations. Since COVID they have stop sending these. For these letters are not required but were more or less to recognize that the account that is being investigated. Unfortunately, because these letters have stopped, we rely on communication through phone, text and additionally through the client portal to keep the client and us up to speed. The client portal is key, and this file was created especially for her at enrollment. This platform is for you and us to house all information, in addition to documentation linked to your wife’s credit file. This also provides update to date information on the file.     I was skeptical and didn't think I would ever use a credit repair company, however, when my lender recommended Home Loans Assist I tried. After the first round of investigations I saw some movement on my credit report, they removed things that didn't belong there and got rid of negative items, my credit score went UP.     There is absolutely a reason this place has such a low rating on Yelp. All these good reviews?? They are an effort of the customer trying to get money off their bill. When you talk to a live person you receive an email with links to review sites with a coupon code that you get $10 off for referrals. They specifically ask you to mention them by name "so I can win the office competition!". I was misled from the get go, "lets see what we can do in 30 days!!" The initial consultation was very promising about getting things taken care of in 30 days, maybe 60. Upon talking with the advisor crew member (a female introduced as one of my lead investigators) earlier today they had informed me that they can only send so many investigations per month, thus September there was going to be more for different creditors. Their investigation would not conclude until mid November. They would not have any updates until then!! Looking at the website schedule they were sending more to the same creditors. I called back and asked (another person, a gentleman this time) about that I was told that the person I spoke with had misinformed me and that was not the case. Being frustrated, since she told me she was a lead, I questioned him about that. He did tell me they send THE SAME DISPUTES THREE TIMES!!! Only ONCE is needed. I told him I wanted to cancel, only to get transferred to the initial woman who then tried to argue with me, tell me they were the #1 company in the nation, no one could do what they do, online bad reviews were misleading me etc. (Made me realize the bad reviews are more than likely spot on.) I think i'm cancelled but i will be having a conversation with my bank about this company to make sure they don't take more than they are technically owed. The investigations looks like they have been closed out with no more scheduled, yet the accounts look as if they are still set to draft out of my account. RUN AWAY!

    Initially I thought they were good, but they advised me not to pay off an account for a credit card because "it would not affect my credit, and it could be dismissed" they said it would take about 3 months. After 4-5 months of service with them, a banker told me that not addressing that particular account was the reason I was not qualified for a particular loan. Lastly, when I tried calling them to ask about this matter there was no answer for multiple times or I was on hold for 30-45 minutes and then it went to a voicemail which was frustrating. Initially, they did raise my score by about 15-20 points but the follow up was not good and the advise affected me adversely big time.

    I am so thankful that my lender referred me to HLA! Within the first round of results I already had 4 negative items come off my credit report! Over the last 45 Days or so I have had conversations with a few different people but out of them all I have to say y conversation with Titus was the best!!! He was patient and understanding and very helpful in answering all of my questions.     Each month, since beginning this process in Oct., I have called to get an update and status. I will say that each of the people I have talked to have been polite and professional. I understand that each time you call in they send out an email asking for reviews, so this time I thought I would oblige. I read several reviews, both good and bad, and can relate to both groups. While I HAVE seen tangible results (removals of old accounts, etc.) I certainly haven't seen the type of results I was sold on. After all of the calls asking for updates, we decided for a soft pull on my credit to happen today (early Jan) to do a check because they didn't want to lower my scores with multiple pulls UNDERSTANDABLE!.. It was getting close to the end of the day and still no phone call or email saying HEY!! HERE'S WHAT WE FOUND!... I called once again and was told that due to privacy issues they can't call customers and explain their findings. We went through everything that was going on and it just somewhat seemed like a very "canned" conversation.. almost like they have a script with acceptable answers to frequent questions. Not that Josie wasn't caring, far from it, but A LOT of the same exact words I have heard from other reps. What really topped it all off was to hear that they use the same report that credit karma uses (vantage 4.0) but when I asked about my credit karma scores I have been told not to rely on those because they don't give and accurate rating... something didn't smell quite right. I will give this service a few more months, but if I don't see some results I will surely go elsewhere.

    Where do I even begin, in the beginning everything was great. Then I was dealing with a mortgage lender that fell off the face of earth on me and wouldn’t return my calls, emails, or anything. I remember I called in and got to speak with Rachel Nelson with Home Loans Assist, I honestly felt like I was just a credit score to the mortgage lender but Rachel got just as mad about the situation with the lender as I did. She worked hard to help me find a lender that will communicate and work with me through the process. Rachel made me feel like family and not a customer to Home Loan Assist. She was always there by email or phone call to talk me off ledges when I felt like I was fighting a losing battle with creditors. If it wasn’t for Rachel at Home Loans Assist I really don’t know where I’d be at with my journey to owning a home. Thank you Rachel for everything and being the ear I needed to vent to when I felt like my life was being flipped upside down.

    Where do I start with this company, they STEAL your money, I’ve paid over 800 to these folks for nothing to change with my credit, most of these must positive comments must be fake I would believe the negative reviews bc it’s true! They are the best con artists out here! I wouldn’t give them any stars at all then they call and try to “fix” my file bc i made this review and can’t fix and continue to lie and try to collect more money ******DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY******
