Customer focus is lacking. Had all my paperwork for a new account ready to go for when licensing followed. When we opened they told us we needed to reapply and that is taking months. Now I have checks piling up with no where to cash them. Payroll and expenses are all waiting on the bank. Wish they communicated and cared about their affect on my business.

What a wonderfully friendly staff, Maria provides excellent & efficient customer service, The employees are always professional & kind. Facility inside and outside are clean and very well maintained.

It's a great bank between normal business hours. But if you use their credit card or debt card. You will have more problems than you can imagine. There is also no help after the bank closes. So if you have a problem the 1800 number will tell you in a very nice tone that they will not do anything for you. And call back when the bank is open.

Rj Klaus at Herring bank is my business banker. He secured a loan for my business so we could acquire a competitor that was selling out. The process was easy. Rj kept me informed and made sure everything went smooth. I highly recommend Herring Bank.

If I could leave 0 I would. Horrible bank. If you give them money on Friday they will not deposit it until Monday. I called 8 times. Was told to drive up to the window between 9 and 12 on Saturday. No one is there. Was hung up on multiple times. I was advised by them that not depositing same day is standard practice for them. So if you expect to have money for the weekend after a deposit on Friday, you are wrong and you most likely will be broke all weekend.

The people inside the bank are by far the most awesome people I have ever met in any bank.

I understand all Banks are not the same. But there were some significant issues with the ReFi Process with Herring. I'm a Retired Army Vet and was very comfortable working with another Military Service Member at Herring, Katrina Stone. The process was taking entirely too long, we wanted the equity from our current home to use as a down on an investment property. The longer it took, the higher the interest rates climbed. Herrings interest rate was going to be too high and they wanted 20% down. Once we stopped the process with Herring and chose another Bank, the process went much smoother and quicker as well as a lower interest rate and only requires 15% down. We don't blame Katrina, she was a little frustrated that she couldn't do more for us, but her hands were tied. As a small business owner here in the Springs, I have Networked with Katrina in the past as part of a BNI networking group. I am not comfortable providing her referrals for Herring with the experience we had. I hope Herring can update there policies and process to better compete with the many other lenders and Banks there are to choose from in Colorado Springs.
