My wife and I stopped by here & we absolutely love this place. The staff is so knowledgeable, & patient. They answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend checking out Hallenbeck coin store for anyone looking to start or finish their collection or for anyone looking for a special gift for that special someone.

Hallenbeck Coin Gallery is absolutely amazing!! Great selection, prices, and some awesome workers! Donevan and Jan are absolutely incredible! They truly take time to answer questions you have and go above an beyond with customer service! They are always a pleasure to do business with! The times that I've spoken to other associates, the experience can change quite a bit from employee to employee. It's somewhat similar to shopping to a firearm. Some employees take the time to answer any questions you may have and provide excellent customer service, whereas your experience with other employees may be different/ not as desirable. Although everyone I've dealt with has been ok, Donevan and Jan truly exemplify what good customer service is. On some occasions dealing with other employees, I feel somewhat rushed and that not all my questions may be answered. This is fine if you know exactly what you want to purchase/ sell, but in other cases I prefer someone who takes the proper time to make sure you have an excellent experience. Overall amazing store!

A+ service. Consistent, just a bit better than fair pricing. Friendly, no nonsense staff willing to figure out what you need to know to make a decision. They are a multi generational family owned business that truly cares about doing it right. I just got home to Pueblo and wanted to write a review. Today was my first time coming here and I came because I had a few old coins. I also had a few of my silver rounds with me. I am very happy and am still smiling. I was able to trade a few things in and walk away with cash. I brought in silver rounds, a vintage charm, and an old gold Liberty. I left with money, a five gram gold bar, and a 10 ounce silver bar. The lady who helped me was friendly, professional, and to the point. I did read the reviews before deciding to go. The door was locked and there was a short wait but to be honest this made me feel more secure. The owner was very visible and walked around frequently which also made me feel secure. If you are looking to buy, sell, or trade then I will highly recommend this place. I also liked that I got a printed receipt and that all of my information is in their computer system which feels much better than my local coin shop that sends me text receipts or non itemized receipts. I like knowing that I can easily prove a purchase if needed. They are fully stocked and I finally got to see what a kilo looks like in person. They have a lot of collectibles. I am still smiling and can honestly say that I will never, ever go to a pawn shop again. I will keep coming back here. I was looking for a little extra cash because it has been a tough year paying for my 10 year old yellow lab's chemotherapy. Thank you for the great experience.

This is the most professional coin shop I've ever been in. Whether I'm trying to complete a set of coins or buying bullion, these people are the ones I always go to. Fair prices, knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't ask for more. I'll be by soon for my '22 Plain and my '09 S-VDB!

I finally decided to part with unused gold chains, antique jewelry that no one wanted-much that I couldn’t even say who it came from. The young man who helped us was very personable and answered questions for us. Professional and knowledgeable.

I had my very first experience today buying silver at Hollenbeck's with Donevan. He was extremely informative, professional, and friendly. I was a bit intimidated going in, but he took the time to put me at ease by explaining Lots about silver and answering all the questions that I had. I should have known it was a great place by how busy it was when I was in there. I've never seen so much traffic in a coin shop before. Staff was knowledgeable, extremely friendly and helpful. I was at first disappointed by the selection in the display cases, but as soon as I asked about other coins they went in back and brought out exactly what I was looking for. A lot of the people in there were selling coins, so I feel confident that they will have a fresh supply each time I go back. I will be going back. Thank you!

These people are phenomenally amazing! Just wow! I unknowingly purchased a fake gold bar and was starting to question my purchase so I did more research and then called the wonderful people at Hallenbeck to see if they could and would confirm the authenticity of the bar or tell me if it was a fake. I pulled in close to closing time and was greeted as I walked in the door. I explained my situation and they took care of me within 3 minutes confirming the bar was a fake! They expressed their sorrow for my situation and said they would be glad to help in the future with any questions. I understand some people have issues and there’s just no pleasing them but at this point, I just can’t see what all the negative reviews are about all though there’s always two sides. Look, bottom line, this is a great place with great people! They will have my future business!

I am a deaf person. I didn't understand anything. The old lady didn't explain how the do business. I felt bad when the lady with the glasses didn't pull her aside to be "yelling" at her for her mistake. The old lady was sweet. I wished I didn't do the money thing with them. I know I should have made more money than I really did. Shady. it really a clean place. they should expend more space.

I brought in a random coin that I bought overseas years ago. No idea how much I paid or what it was. I had them check it out and the very politely informed me it was not worth much at all. I plan on going back to buy from them in the near future simply because they were professional and courteous.

In today's age, customer service and trust are hard to come by in the retail or business world. Wednesday, I found a place that still deals in friendliness, honesty, integrity and with a bit of humor. I am not a big coin collector or precious metals collector, however, upon walking in, the person that helped me out (I wish I knew his name) was friendly, up front and walked me through the process of what he was doing in valuing my coins and metals. I went in thinking I would be dealing with mostly coin value and he treated the transaction as a metal value. Needless to say, I was surprised that something I did not think was worth much was actually worth more. That kind of honesty and integrity you don't find very much anymore. If anyone were to ask what they should do with coins or precious metals, go to Hallenbeck. Really, go to Hallenbeck. There is a reason they have been in business so long.

This is a coin collectors paradise! They love to share their knowledge with us newer to the hobby. I appreciate that their prices are fair. This is the place to come for your coin needs!

They were so great and helpful. The lady that worked with us sat down and even gave us a little history on the things that we were wanting to sell. She was also kind enough to tell us places we could take the things that she was not interested in, but may possibly sell to another business. She was very kind friendly and supportive. I had fun and enjoyed my experience there and used her references. I am disabled and in a power wheelchair so my review as to the accessibility of the store is okay. I came at the end of the day and exhausted to begin with so I wasn't able to do a complete review of the store. They did have street parking with a handicap spot. I was able to get in and out of the shop with my power wheelchair just fine. I was able to move around enough to get a place to sit at their store " square center" where they service there customers. It was very nice because the counters were all made for sitting where I was planted with an extended counter area so my chair fit nicely there. There was also plenty of room in that cubicle area for my sister. A positive experience for me although limited due to my exhaustion in the first place.

This place is a joke. It's unfortunate that it's the only coin shop in town. Over priced. I've taken in a coin that I knew to be gold and at 1st was told it was dental scrap... only to have another staff check it out and validate the coin being gold. Not to mention the wait outside to be brought in. You fail hallenbeck coins!

My kids were interested in coin collecting. Hana took time to explain this to us and she did a wonderful job. Thank you Hana we truly appreciate it!
