I've been looking for a hard to find item for a custom build for awhile. I found an ad online and decided to call. Eric took my call and had what I needed. Found this pawn shop about 6 mts ago and since then they have been my go-to place for great deals. We just recently did our kids xmas shopping there and they were not only kind but priced very well. Always willing to make anything right if something doesn't work for ur home like the headset I bought that wasn't the right fit for our Xbox. Returned and exchanged no questions asked. Employees are very knowledgeable and have answered every question I've thrown at them. Very clean organized store. Highly recommend this pawn shop compared to the other around the area. Also there is no incentive for posting a good review so you know its based on experience.

Wondering and Friendly. As far as Pawn Shops go in Colorado Springs, Acme Pawn Original is on of the best. Certainly my favorite. It is clean and well organized, if you like firearms, its the spot for you. Most importantly they are friendly. I don't mean friendly for a pawnshop, but genuinely friendly. I would highly recomend if you are on this side of town.

I first entered this store in search of a Playstation 4. I found exactly what I was looking for and had options too. Looking around they have so much to offer. It is a pawnshop, but it's not a junkyard. This pawn shop is clean and packed with great tools, instruments, firearms, accessories, jewelry consoles televisions, and a list long more. They have been good about giving me fair deals and will barter reasonably. Everything I have brought to them they have given me what I intended to get and the prices I intend to sell them at. They are really good about trading ofcourse within reason.

These guys are great to work with. They give fair prices and do it quick letting me keep moving and get my errands done and have a little time to relax in my day. It’s not often that we have to seek to sell our possessions and when we do, you know times are dire.. At the beginning of the current COVID epidemic I found myself in that situation and thankfully there are good people still willing to help us. Last month I missed my payment deadline and yesterday I received a text notification that I was able to retrieve my item, which I did and am writing the review now just shortly after getting in the truck. They forgave my lateness and in fact, they have forgiven everyone that has taken out a loan with them for their lateness.. I can’t thank you enough and my summer will be better than it was going to be because Y’all! Oh!! They need tools, he said to mention this if I could so yeah, if you’ve got good tools that you’re not using or are in need of a loan, check these guys out, no joke💯

Roberto went out of his way to make certain I was happy. They worked as a team to ensure that I was getting the right item. Roberto explained how everything worked and made me feel very comfortable at their shop. We have been in to acme times before but this particular time my boyfriend and I were in search of a new guitar. They have a good selection and good prices with awesome staff to ask questions and bargain with. The owners keep to their word and stand by what they sell it awesome. Walked out of there with a 400 dollar takamine for 200 bucks. It was a great steal and you all should def check it out. Who knows maybe the owners could throw us a guitar case for leaving an awesome review ahaha jk. Have a good one guys l!!!!

Do not pawn your fire arm with these folks, my wife has her fingerprint clearance card from the FBI and when she went to collect her pistol she got for her birthday they claimed her app was denied! We both knew it was because they put the info in wrong on purpose to collect another months payment from her, it's ok though cause karma always hits those who scam good people. Should have known by the amount of pistols they had in their case they would be on some shadiness. Probably all stolen like they stole ours cause to appeal it, it takes another 30 days! No, we didn't pay the extra month cause I didn't see the point when they obviously did it on purpose. Enjoy the extra cash now cause it'll be taken back 10 fold by karma.

Britt was super knowledgeable and talkative guy. Explained silver and gold coins very throughly and was super chill. For my first experience he definitely hooked it up and was more than nice. Will be back for sure! If anyone comes through definitely be sure to ask for Britt he’ll take care of you!

A family member sent us here to sell a guitar and some games. They gave us an amazing deal and were super friendly. we forgot our glasses and the employee named Steve was kind enough to return them to us.

I consider this particular store and its manager, Britt, to be the best, most caring and honest pawn shop in all of Colorado Springs. Britt and his top notch staff really take the sting out of having to secure a loan on you prized possessions. They care, and they are more than willing to work with you as long as you are straight with them. I unfortunately am one of those people that use the pawn system frequently to stay afloat in my time of need. I take my valuables to this location only, as from my past experiences with them, I know my items are going to be treated with respect, and that I am given the highest cash value on my loan anywhere. I am secure in the knowledge that my valuables are safe, and should I run into a small deadline problem, that they are always willing to work with me as long as I am straight with them. What more can you ask for in a pawn shop. Well, they have a pretty good selection of some really dank stuff that they are more that willing to sell. Some really unique and hard to find items at that. These guys are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to take the time to explain things and to work with you. I know, I have been in some really tight jams in the past, right now too during these Covid times, and they are bending over backwards for me, helping me to get thru this with my valuables intact. No one wants to lose at the end of all this. They are willing to work with me to see that I don't. For my part, I just need to keep them informed and do what I say I'm gonna do, at the agreed upon time. Not a lot to ask. Honesty and trust is a two-way street. No games played here folks. With this crew you get what you give. All that said, I give this store a five star rating for the very reasons I just explained. One thing I failed to mention is I really love the relaxed, casual atmosphere of this shop. I never feel pressured coming here, whether I am getting a loan or shopping. Got a problem? Brett is the manager and the nicest guy you would ever want to meet. I guarantee you that. No, I am not under this companies employ...lol. Nor am I a relative or a personal friend of anyone working for it. I am simply a retired 65 year old man, on social security, trying to make ends meet. To do that, I need this type business for quick cash. Having done business with many of the pawn shops in Colorado Springs over the years, I now exclusively do my trading with this company, at this location. I take the time to share this with you so you know right where to go from the start, and not have to go thru all the garbage I did to finally find this store. Great selection, friendly staff and great prices. We went near closing and were greeted immediately and felt welcomed. Since they were closing, we were going to take a quick look at a tv and return. Britt gave us an incredible deal on a tv we thought we could never afford. We are really enjoying the TV. We will definetly return to see Britt and highly recommend Acme Pawn Original.

Don't bother coming here for gun purchases. Britt offered me 325 for my firearm over the phone so I drive in and now Eric says they can only give me 125 and they obviously won't honor the original price. What a joke.

You can't go to many other pawn shops and talk to someone that has better knowledge. He has become my go-to guy when it comes to used firearms. Shawn will be my first stop. I've been into Acme Pawn a couple of times, and I've made some nice purchases there. The store is small, but it's got an assortment of good stuff. Wish I could get more specific, but generally it is a solid pawn shop with good people working there.

Thought i would be looking all day for a TV but I was surprised to find a big selection and great deals at the first place we went. Walked out with an awesome TV for a great deal and some DVD's.
