Michele was amazing! She took the time to address every single concern I had and never made me feel like I was asking the wrong questions. From working with her, I was able to see the benefits of a small, local credit union versus the big banks I have always had experiences with in the past. I was able to refinance my car at a great rate because of the hard work that she put in. I would recommend her and Heritage to everyone!

Shelly at heritage credit union on machesney park is phenomenal to work with. We have worked with her for many loans and out own checking accounts. Her customer service and dedication is great. The branch has had some staffing issues the past year with covid-19 so reaching a loan officer from time to time was difficult but once we reached Shelly and Michelle our service was great

We have been with this credit union a few years now and everyone that works there are the greatest people,they learn your name and when you go there it feels like your family. I highly recommend this credit union. We worked recently with Michelle at the machinery park branch and she went above and beyond to help us.

Worst experience ever!!! I called to find out how to apply for a home loan and did exactly what they told me to do. The same day got a credit alert someone ran my credit report I did not received a call from them until I called them 6 days after to scheduled a telephone appointment for the next day with a loan officer. She was so confused thinking I was filling a credit application with her over the phone and I was so confused they told me online was the only way…..“Apparently Not the only way “ she couldn’t give me no information about my aplicación or nothing but I received an email few hours later the same day from MJ Delmore ( the guy who ran my credit report) If I wouldn’t call them I probably would be still waiting for days!! He is not even local in Rockford, his location is in Wisconsin. So why would Heritage credit union Assigned me someone from out of State? instead of someone local mortgage loan officer? finally I was able to talk to MJ Delmore and he told me some inaccurate information or just lied to me not sure but the local mortgage officer told me completely Opposite information. is Wisconsin different from Illinois? again not sure if I will ever find out. I gave them everything they ask from me within 3 days and I did not received a call or email from MJ Delmore at all. I call my local Heritage credit union she then told me she was going to find out what was going on with my credit aplicación. I have not heard from either one of them very unprofessional I feel so powerless and the worst part is I’m a member and have had a previous loans with them and I have paid perfectly on time. I feel so disappointing I wish them the best but if this is the best treatment they can do it will be a complete disappointment for anyone else.

I will only bank at credit unions and choose Heritage because of their high rating and they proved that they deserve it. Even though the girl that was opening my account was a fairly new employee, she still did a wonderful job and made sure that I new everything that I needed to know and had a wonderful experience. Glad I am now part of the family because that is how she made me feel.

These guys are Great. I refinanced my vehicle and started a checking and savings account. Very nice personal. Answered any questions. And they are not like the bigger banks or credit unions around here. They're there to help you out. Thanks guys

Shelley Bengtson at the Machesney branch is awesome! She is very helpful and really knows the industry. The Heritage Credit Union experience as a whole was perfect. They treat like a person and not just an account number.

Shelley was wonderful, she made the process easy to understand and made sure I was comfortable the whole way. She explained how things work and also understood what it was I was trying to achieve. I had a great experience w/ Heritage credit union. Best auto rate in town and I called many places to verify that. Quick service and was able to get everything handled electronically so I did not have to take time from work!

I called to get some interest rates and was transferred to Shelley. She was very detailed and explained everything to me. Then I went in to sign paperwork and met her. She was so nice and treated me like we had been friends for years. Not only was she knowledgeable about everything, Shelley is a wonderful person. This kind of genuine service and treatment is hard to find.
