I went in today to pay on an item. While I was there John the manager was very helpful he helped me find a silver ring and earrings. He gave me a great deal, they have the best prices and great jewelry. I only deal with them they are the best!

I don’t like writing about anyone but I have to tell you.. I’ve been doing business at this shop for years sins old owners where there. and never ever had any issues with anyone but in my last visit I was helped by someone named John he said he was the manager he was very rude and unwilling to give me back my gun after I was told to pick it up I was only 1 day late on my pawn and I had called the prior day to confirm it was there. and here comes John and rudely tells me he sold my gun I couldn’t believe it .. PLEASE DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR DONT PAWN HERE.. They will sell your stuff even if they tell you they won’t and set a pick up appointment

I was looking for a unique jewelry gift for a special occasion and had been trying to find something nice online or at one of the major retailers, everything I saw looked generic and overpriced to me. I had never set foot in a pawn shop but considered Herdez after reading the reviews. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who reviewed and brought them into my radar. Like I said, I had never been into a pawn shop/jeweler in my life and was a bit intimidated by the idea. As soon as I came through the doors I was greeted by very friendly staff. They were so helpful, knowledgeable and respectful. They listened to my needs and made some recommendations. I wasn't ready to buy the item at the time as I wanted to look a little more, this was a no pressure situation. I went to another establishment and called two others, although they were nice, their approach was very different. The following day I went back and I was treated with the same level of respect and kindness as the day before although there was different staff there. They were so helpful and even cleaned the piece of jewelry for me. I was relieved and happy to have found the perfect item and thankful for having found a trustworthy place to buy unique gifts. Their prices were more than fair, and above all, their commitment to customer service is what will keep me coming back. Thank you Herdez!

DO NOT GO HERE. I go to lots of pawn shops and lots of other places that sell guns. Never have I ever had cash in hand to buy a gun and get told at the register someone online bought it as I was about to purchase it. Go somewhere else, trust me. After calling the store later to express my anger. They said "first come, first serve" I called them at 1:30pm. Was in the store at 2:00pm after my drive. The online sale happened at 2:20ish. So if that line of bs was true. I should've been the one to get it. Instead they sold it to someone online who will never come back. After I expressed I was interested in a p22 they had. Definitely will not go back.

They have great service. I couldn't fit my 65 inch tv in my car and the guy offered to take it in his car all the way to my house. they are very helpful. The guy also let me get a extension on my jewelry that was already past due plus he gave me a discount on all my tickets. Overall I would recommend coming here.

I hadn't been here in years, but I needed a new phone and recently had the opportunity to. I was pleasantly greeted by Victor, he had a soothing personality and I instantly felt comfortable. He went over and beyond from the moment I got there. From offering water to discounting my purchase. Now that's customer service! 😁

David was a great guy to do business with. I went one day asked for a voucher on some jewelry l. Came back the next week and the price on jewelry for some reason dropped. He kept his word and we went with the original numbers. The building was clean and well kept. And the dynamic products appear to be a good deal. I will definitely be coming back!

I have sold many items to this place. I think they are pretty fair for a pawn shop. Today I went in for the first time to BUY something. I have been eyeing this Opal ring for months. I should have put it in layaway to make sure it was there when I finally had the money to buy it but I figured if it was meant to be it would still be there and today it was. Gus helped me out and was awesome. Very courteous and knowledgeable. I even received a smoking deal because I was a returning customer.

Greatest guys in south Phoenix. They worked with me on a very significant loan I needed for a down payment on a house that I had to close on. I was waiting for my sign on bonus check from my new employer. Not only did they give me 4,000 more then the best offer I got from 4 other pawn stores but they reduced the interest rate by almost half of what everyone else wanted to charge me. Folks save your time and gas you found the BEST don’t waste your time with the rest

The guy tells me to stop by after I told him the exact type of carpet cleaner I had and when I walk in not two seconds later and he says pass and says he wants the rug doctor and then yells over me as I'm trying to talk... Horrible customer service and very rude and disrespectful... Not recommended!

I came here last year to have my real gold necklace cleaned. I left it over night as they asked me. When I came to pick it up they swapped me for a fake one and took my real one.

I can't say enough good about this place or the people. After being offered only half of what I needed from other shops in the area I gave this place a try. The atmosphere alone made me want to do business there. I was promptly greeted with a friendly smile and welcome in. I was taken to Larry, the owner, to try to get what I was looking for. He was so personable and down to earth. After conversing for a bit, he gave me what I was asking for. I could tell he was giving me more than it was worth to him, but I could also tell he relied more on the person instead of the item. They also have such a wide variety of items at amazing prices ... So much that I went back today and bought a gun, for a steal. I've always liked to keep my business in my neighborhood, but now all the business I can do here will definitely be done here. I strongly recommend Herdez. They get my vote for best customer service and prices, period! Thank you, Larry and others, for being so great!

I took some scrap gold into here for cash. I researched approximately how much I would receive and the amount was within a few percentages of my calculation! Eddie's name was on the receipt so thanks Eddie!

I want to start off by saying eddie is one of the best employees there! I had a gun pawned and forgot to pay it so I lost it but eddie did the impossible at the time and went out of his way to help me find another gun that was the same type! They are all great at employees and treat everybody like family i can say they all go above and beyond to help anyone out! Thanks Eddie and Herdez Pawn you all are greatly appreciated!( You saved a life that day lol)

Left a wedding band here to be resized. I came by 3 times to pick up and every time promised that it would be done the next day. On the day before my wedding I came to pick up the ring and the ring could not be found. When finally found it still had not been done. They gave me the ring back and referred me to someone else that could “possibly” help me. Not cool as I now have no time to make other arrangements before the wedding.

These guys are amazing. They're very helpful, talkative and will work with you on finding the best deal. Excellent and friendly service. I do gun transfers here too because theyre so close but they are an awesome FFL to work with. If there's anything you need, these guys will work with you. Best pawn shop ever.

This place should be the ONLY pawn store you visit. The last time I pawned something was in 1988. After losing my husband I found myself in financial distress over the recent holiday season. I was nervous, anxious and full of trepidation as I gathered my jewelry and set off on what I thought would be a belittling and dehumanizing experience. Boy, was I wrong. The owner Larry and his staff treated me like I was family. They truly care for you and are concerned for your welfare. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the experience. The kindness and generosity extended to me was pure and selfless. Herdez family - Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity. I love you guys!
