We came here to sell a firearm and upon hearing what we wanted for our item the employee actually said he could do better and offered us more than we'd asked for. I can't think of a better quality in a pawn buyer than being honest about the worth of the items being sold to them. Would happily do business again.

GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION ! While in search of a SB Tactical AR pistol brace I found Harvey's. Bought my AR brace at a competitive price and enjoyed talking to the folks working there. THE biggest complaint I have about local gun shops is they tend not to be friendly. I don't like feeling like I am bothering them if I ask a question. I get it. They get asked the same questions all the time ! Roger that ! But good customer service goes a long way with me. Thank you Harvey's Pistol & Pawn. I WILL be back !

This is a great place to shop firearms. The people are very personable and knowledgeable. The prices are comparable. The have a lot of great pieces you won't find anywhere else in town. Harvey's always has AMMO on hand. And the "Marriage Saver" layaway plan is unmatched anywhere. Plus, I just love visiting with all the cool toys.

They have an excellent selection of guns and the staff member I spoke with was super helpful.

I've utilized their layaway program several times, I've currently got 4 more pieces on layaway. They have also been friendly and easy to deal with, their sales are usually very good value. I've referred a couple of of my friends to them, and those friends have sent several of their friends. Will continue to use them as long as they have the marriage saver!

I was informed that they were closed when the doors not locked this occurred 15 minutes till they're advertised closing time customers you going in and out

Giving it five stars for more than one reason, but mainly the staff. Especially certain members who, despite being under a lot of stress over the past few months, have treated me with respect and fairness. I do have my favorites here, but have NEVER seen anyone treated poorly. Customer service is what really makes a business, and unless you are just one of those folks looking to be offended(because you WILL have to wait for service some times, as they are busy as hell) this place will take care of you. Thanks to the staff! Keep up the good work!

I have bought from them multiple times. Couldn't beat the price even on the Internet. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Most gun stores , in my experience , the staff is very short with you and will not answer questions. If you accidentally call a magazine a " clip" they don't laugh at you and say something smug and belittling. Staff here is very willing to show different guns and I feel like they really like enjoy showing guns to customers. The owner Harvey is great. He is a true people person. I am very pleased with this store. I will buy here again and again. Don't believe me? Call them and just ask some questions. The response you will get is 1,000 times better than other stores in the area. I am so impressed with this place I had to leave this detailed review. Thank you Havry and staff. You have a customer for life.

What a great experience that was at this real American style pawn shop. Very friendly so as professional. I was there to sell my firearm, it was a smooth and easy transaction to the satisfaction of all. Highly recommended even if it’s just to feel the atmosphere of this great authentic shop. Thank you

Great experience here with them. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. It feels very safe being inside as well because everyone open carries. We sold them one of our guns and they gave us an incredible deal on it. Super happy and can’t wait to come back and do business with them.

Great group of people to deal with! They are incredible helpful and knowledgeable and they often have the best prices on their guns. I recently picked up my Springfield 1911 from them and couldn't find a cheaper price then what they had. I will definitely be back for all of my future firearm purchases. Oh yeah, they have some jewelry too if that makes your lady happier to go there with you.

Drove 55 miles to get to this store (staffed by lying, useless things) for nothing. We called the day before to find out what type of items they would buy/sell. The idiot who answered the phone obviously didn't know the correct answer OR outright lied to us. Upon arrival, we were greeted by another of their employees who had no idea what he was talking about or doing. NEVER AGAIN. I will not waste my time with this place. No idea why they are in business.

Having never been to the store as I live out of state I can't comment on that aspect. I have purchased a few firearms from them recently and they are awesome! Very friendly, quick to respond to emails, phone calls, fb messenger and any other way I have reached out to them. The explained their process for shipping/transfers and gave realistic and surprisingly quick shipping. Couldn't be happier with my experience! Will definitely continue to be a customer of theirs!!

Guns are good but learn to be friendly to customers every time the guys act like there better then everyone especially the british guy i give up on really talking to anyone who works there you just get ignored

This used to be a great place to get guns and ammo. Not anymore. They’re price gouging like you wouldn’t believe. I work in the firearm industry, so I know prices, and they are marking things up to 300% over retail. For example, a box of 150 Winchester 5.56mm range ammo is $74.99 (in this ammo crisis at least. Normally $53.99) from an honest dealer. Harvey’s is charging $199.99. I want to support my local businesses more than anything, but not when they are taking advantage of us like this store is.

Made my first trip to Harvey's today. Very friendly and patient staff. Very informative and no pressure at all. Bought a pistol and some ammo at a great price and it took no more than 30 - 40 minutes from start to finish. I will definitely be back to purchase one for my wife in the near future.

I have traded with Harvey's several times. I saw a few of the complaints and while I never experienced anything but good service at competitive prices, one thing I do agree with is nobody greats me when I walk in..But I think it is because they are all slammed busy taking care of people. So I dont care much about not being greeted when I walk in. What I do care about is good prices, good selection and good service during the sale. This place checks all 3 boxes in my onion and its why I make the 150 mile round trip when its time to buy a new toy...

Terrible customer service! The guy who worked there behind the shelves where the guns and weapons are held was very rude and impolite! He was very insencere and failed to answer any of my questions. He also tried to coerce me into buying a gun. That's when I immediately left the store. I ran out the door.

I enjoy the buying experience at Harveys. Their team is respectful and knowledgable. They will provide you with options that help, aid, and assist you so to not leave with buyer's remorse. Unfortunately, most pawn establishments in the Knoxville area have employees that are rude, condescending, and look to take advantage of the customer as soon as they walk through their door. Harvey's is a facility where customers come first. Relative to gold, Harveys has the most wonderful lady to serve your gold sales. Martha is honest, fun to talk with, smart, and owns common sense and good reason. Nicer pieces may present point offers sometimes rather than melt. John David and Eric are great to work with. The ladies that check you out, complete your background check or collect your lay away monthly payments are awesome.

No one greeted me when i walked in the door I actually took it upon myself to say Hello. I have no issue with the selection of weapons they have to choose from its actually set up and displayed well. As far as customer service, this company will only speak with you if your only interest is spending money; when it should be finding the correct gun to fit the buyer. I would have loved to do business with Harveys Pistol & Pawn i actually had money in my pocket to purchase a weapon if i could have just gotten a little assistance.

Went for the first time on 3-17-18 had a great experience. The store is fully stocked with guns, ammo, and accessories . The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. There prices are by far the best around!!! They also have great specials !! This will be the only place I purchase my guns and ammo from. Thanks for a great buying experience!!!!
