As a Realtor here since 1998 I have referred many borrowers to Cindy. In 22 years I have yet to find better rates or lower fees. Additionally Cindy has yet to fail to perform to provide a loan she said she could do. Now those reasons should be enough to make you choose HartWest. Okay, so what is the downside? They are a small local lender who when the world is doing refi's will get bogged down. Expect slow return calls. They do everything online. Get your docs to them in a timely fashion and ask for a firm date to expect completion. I still use the "Princess" (Cindy) after all these years so if you call "Princess" she may chuckle.

We had a great experience with Hart West! It was only the second time my wife and I have done financing for a home so it was a little intimidating to do all the work on-line and across state borders. I don't think it could have gone any smoother. They offer great rates which is why they are so busy, which may mean waiting a bit for a response. However they always followed through and we were blessed to work with them.

Cindy always has the lowest rates with the best lender credits. You don't really need to shop around. My problem with the refinance that I pulled was not with her. She was fast and efficient as a broker but unfortunately the lender that she represented was problematic. I think I had somebody in underwriting who was new to the business and unable to handle anything other than a totally normal real estate portfolio. I won't go into detail but my experience with the actual lender was quite awful and as a result I pulled my application. My experience with Hart West was first rate. If your refinance is pretty straightforward Cindy is fast and efficient and really knows her business. Unfortunately, she was unable to do anything about a lender with an unnecessarily difficult and rude person in their underwriting department.
