Whitney continues to merge with other local banks, not for the purpose of having more resources to provide better customer service. Every time they consume another entity they leave customers hanging, change policies, and screw people. This is not a local bank where your relationship with a local employee means anything. Now everything goes through corporate way up high and policies are completely different from the way they were in the past.

Been banking for a long time with whitney in harahan LA. Started getting behind a little on bills because I'm not rich haha. Went overdraft a few times but never not paid it back with direct deposit. this time was different was charged 500 dollars in overdraft fee's with no courtesy call and so my paycheck was completely devastated. Leaving me feeling like my bank robbed me. Then to put the icing on the cake I tried to cash a small 4000 dollar check and was told It will be put a hold on when I need it the most. Mind you I have perfect credit and have never past a bad check in my life. I think as soon check cleared I will be taking my building else wear

Very nice bank and tellers .Bank Manager helped me a while back and really went out of her way to accommodate me.I had a account issue when I lost checks and my mind was put to ease.
