Tara was great, available at all times and you felt cared for through the process. Appreciate the entire team, a great experience through it all. Update: After close, they did not "read" closely enough and missed that my insurance was not paid, I noticed myself 2 months after we closed and was basically told to pay it out of pocket since they made a mistake and missed it. When I mentioned that I was paying for insurance already in escrow through my mortgage payment they said that was for next year. Their solution was to just increase my payment even more to pay for their oversight. I will never refinance or get a mortgage through hall financial ever again, and I caution anyone reading this to go through a different company. I have never had this happen in 4 refinances, took a chance on Hall and was incredibly disappointed. At Hall, you pay for their mistakes.

We were taken care of from day `1. Nick Martin got us going with simple questions to figure out on which way he could help. From there he directed us to Tiara Keahey. She was very, very helpful and knowledgeable with all our needs and to explain to us step by step on what was happening. After almost 3 full months of working with a different lender who was very unresponsive and kept finding reasons to push back the closing on my refinance, I am very grateful to the team at Hall Financial who I called at the last minute to change lenders. My contact, Tina, was very responsive and kept me updated on every detail of the loan process. Hall was also able to get me a lower rate and also more cash out at closing. The entire process from my first phone call to them until closing was just over three weeks. Everyone at Hall was very professional and a joy to work with. I will recommend them to all my friends and family that need any type of mortgage in the future. Edit: While my experience with Hall Financial was fantastic, the company they use to service the loan, United Wholesale Mortgage, has been the complete opposite. The UWM websites are terrible. They are not at all user friendly. I have an issue signing in every single time. It's a huge headache. So I will not change my rating of Hall Financial but will add this note to be aware after you use them, you might have a nightmare of a time with the UWM websites. Actually I will be changing my rating of Hall. It is their fault that they use UWM after all. Very disappointing.

The rep ran a hard edit on my credit and I was approved for a lower interest rate and 12k cash out with a refinance. Then they told me I'd have to come out of pocket 500$ for an appraisal before the refinance was granted. I began asking questions, including the possibility of rolling the appraisal fee into the refinance. The rep said he'd have to check and call me back. A week later I was told that's nothing they could do for me because my credit score was too low, which isn't true because I was approved before I started asking questions. They said they'd call back in 30 days to reassess. I never heard back. In my experience, Hall financial doesn't deserve their high praise reviews.

This was my first home buying experience and Phil and Tara made it easy. They both responded to our emails in a timely manor and were always informative. I would recommend Hall Financial to my friends and family.

We were able to close on a 20 year mortgage loan in two weeks with lower interest rate(no escrow), one-third amount of paperwork than the local banks. Highly recommend Hall Financial! Thank you!

This had to be one of the most worst experience I have ever been through. The process somewhat started out fine but after I was locked in with a appraisal spent $500 plus on that. To then hear on the radio free appraisal. Then everything went down hill with the underwriters having a hard time with the way I get paid and my job also to the debt consolidation. I pushed back the closing date to try a get the debt end of it straightened out a somewhat did. Now the way the debt gets paid off is a pain for me to redistribute the checks to my creditors and now finding out not all of them are on the credit report. So now I have to checks that they are giving me to creditors that have a zero debt and not to some to creditors that I have debt with that I wanted to pay off. Also I paid everything online so I don’t even get statements sent to me. So now trying to find who is who on the credit report and there addresses and reading that checks have to be filled out a certain way to be excepted. Thinking that they won’t be done right and having to try a figure out what to do with the checks. Also when I pushed back my closing date I was trying to find someone else to do business with but I refuse to get a new appraisal 3 days after I already got on. So with that said I would absolutely not recommend anyone to use Hall Financial in the future even if they can get a better interest rate with them it’s not worth it.

Hall Financial is by far the BEST lender for mortgage service. The entire process was from November 27, through closing on December 17. I worked with Dustin and Rachel who both eagerly went over and beyond to assist me with the process. The interest rate and cash out funds were significantly more than I anticipated. I was previously with Rocket mortgage formerly Quicken. I attempted to refinance with them twice only to have two unnecessary inquiries on my credit report. Rocket mortgage makes verbal promises and then manipulate the numbers to screw you over in the process. Don’t hesitate to give Hall Financial the opportunity to assist you!

From the moment I placed an inquiry online for a mortgage, every team member responded promptly to my questions about the home buying process. Hall Financial took the stress out of the lending/home buying process. From beginning to end, each team member was very helpful and regardless of time of day, responded quickly. Fantastic company to deal with. The whole team from Joe to Rachel in underwriting were accommodating, knowledgeable and quick to communicate. Start to finish under 2 weeks! I started looking for a mortgage on a second home and not only did they handle that quickly and responsively but they also showed me how to refinance my primary residence. Those saving were more than the payment on the second home!!
