My husband and I could not have been happier with the service we received from Ryan Smith and his team. Ryan spent time up front explaining mortgage options and the process for securing the mortgage in clear terms. His team's use of email/the online portal made communication simple. Most importantly, once we had an accepted offer, Ryan's team called once every Tuesday with an update, whether there was an update/action item or not. We never had to doubt or worry because Ryan's team was on top of it from start to finish. I went into the home buying process understanding the importance of our relationship with the realtor. I had no idea about the importance of a service-oriented lender. But Ryan Smith's team is just that. I wouldn't go anywhere else if I needed a mortgage.

Ryan Smith's team at Guild Mortgage were amazing. They made the process simple and easy, were always available to answer my questions and walk me through things I didn't understand. They also made sure the buyer's agent knew my credit was solid and worked hard to meet a quick turnaround on the escrow, all of which helped me land my house from out of state. Our experience with Guild Mortgage was better than we ever expected. They helped us out by letting us know what we needed to do to make sure our credit was at our best . Towards the end of the process they check in at least once a week to see if you have any questions etc. They even gave us an invite to order pizza and soda.after closing We just had to let them know when and what and they ordered it and had it delivered. How thoughtful is that?? I would recommend this mortgage company to get the best possible customer service This is the smoothest a mortgage loan has gone for us.

They had thorough explanations and in instances where I had questions or concerns they simplified it in a manner that made sense to me. At no point did I feel lost in the process, they remained in communication with me via telephone or email to ensure I was meeting suspense's or if they needed more/corrected documentation from me. Customer Support: 5/5 - Ryan Smith and his team excelled at providing support and ensuring a high comfort level with the process. They went above and beyond their obligations by allocating time on the weekend or after hours if it was the only time I had available or if I needed something from them ASAP i.e... if I wanted to make an offer on a home. Rarely if at all did I ever have to reach out to them, they would often contact me to either ask if I needed anything or explain the trajectory of the path I was moving along. Overall: 5/5 - This was my first time buying a home and the encumbrance of everything to consider seemed overwhelming.
