Guild Mortgage Company W Main St, Spartanburg

I had a hard time believing the negative reviews about Guild. I can only assume its because the approval process for home loans is stressful. I bought my house a year ago and would not have gotten my house without them. I had been through two other companies and ended up running in circles and never getting a house. Guild worked with me and got me approved and I got my house with as little stress as possible. Now that I have bought my home, Guild services their own mortgages and everything has been very smooth this whole year. Anytime I have had a question I've gotten quick answers. I've told anyone I know looking for a home to go through Guild if they want to avoid a headache.

Stacy mizell had NO customer skills what so ever. I worked with her for3 months and not ONE time would she return a call when I had questions ultimately causing me to lose the chance of purchasing my house. I have all her e mails that were plain rude and condescending. In no way will iI be recommended this company due to my experience with her.

I worked with Guild mortgage on a house I closed in September. I honestly wouldn't be in the house today without their help. I had two lenders before them, one who approved me then after I made an offer said she couldn't and another who couldn't give me the right payment plan, Guild was able to keep my closing date with only having 2 weeks to get it done. They were awesome.

I regret using Guild Mortgage when I bought my house. It's been nothing but a headache and constant problems. I'd strongly advise going elsewhere.
