    Should have looked at the reviews before opening an account. They closed the location near me and now only have 2 people helping customers at this location in the morning. A 1/2 hour and they helped one person I had 8 people in front of me. Last time it took over an hour to ask a question about my account which they didn't making me come back to wait again. Obsurd they even have anyone that banks with them. Wanted to get a car loan too but will take my business elsewhere to a competent credit union. This is a sad excuse of a bank.

    i have signed a paper twice in regards to not getting overdrafted. i still got overdrafted. i tried calling and even sent an email in regards to cancel the pending that went through. THIS IS THE TENTH TIME THEY MESSED WITH MY ACCOUNT. TWICE I OVER DRAFT WHEN I SIGNED A PAPER TWICE TO DECLINE ANY CHARGES IF GETTING OVERDRAFTED.

    I wasn't going to but here goes. I have been locked out of my online account for months and my debt card PIN hasn't worked for months. I've emailed/called dozens of times and I can never reach anyone or receive a call/email back. The phone system hangs up everytime you try and speak to a representative. It's so frustrating. I'm sitting here closing my account and the staff are just chit chatting and laughing it up. If you have time for that why couldn't I get help with my account months ago!? My experience has been nothing but a straight up disappointment!

    It's frustrating when you're on hold for 30+ mins. then the phone just hangs up. I've called a total of 8 times and had no success with getting anyone on the phone. I assume the website portal changed and the instructions they sent DO NOT WORK! Luckily I had some common sense and Enroll in a new account using my old member id and it worked! Thanks to the NO HELP from Guardian's staff. After I pay off my car loan I'm not sure how I feel about continuing banking with this company.

    Debit cards do not allow refunds or incoming money often, can't use any payment apps that asks for more than your debit card number, staff hangs up on you often after waiting on the line, website doesn't accept your account information to sign up nor does the phone service take your account number or card number only talking to a human will get you anywhere.

    could give no stars if i could. very peed off with this credit union. haven’t been able to log in to my account for almost two weeks and whenever i try to call the branch all i get is the customer service number that doesn’t help at all and when you think you found a different number, it’s customer service. can’t give a real number to the branch because they don’t want to help anyone out. i just tried to make an appointment to actually cancel my account with them and the website said there are no appointments for the next twelve days. what if i had an emergency with my account or credit card but they can’t take walk ins just appointment only. which none are available for the next twelve days. cannot wait to cancel my account with them.

While we do have appointments that fill up pretty quickly, you also have the choice of walking into one of our branches and waiting to be seen without an appointment. The wait time as a walk in may vary depending on how busy the lobby is when you arrive.

    I've been banking with the PBC Credit union for many years, ever since Guardians came in and took over nothing has been the same. Constantly being charged overdraft fees when there is supposed to be a limit on overdraft protection and they cover the transaction but they are no longer doing that. Charge you every time and won't process the transaction so you get charged $34 for nothing. Used to be a great bank but no so much anymore. Not mention with their new online banking system you can NEVER log in online. So frustrating!

    It doesn't make sense to do business with Guardians. The rates are a little better then conventional banks but the lack of customer services is daunting. They will treat you like your bothering them constantly and just try to get someone on the phone for general account info. Its a dead end maze. Even when you think you found the cue to speak with a live person its just a wait in silence until the phone hangs up.

    Danielle Villanueva made this entire experience so much easier My partner and I were buying our first car from a dealer, and had so many questions she was so kind, so relatable, so patient and just overall helpful and everything I wish all my bankers were!     Danielle Villanueva has been an invaluable resource to me. Danielle has provided excellent advice in regards to helping me secure personal loans and improve my credit.     I have used the credit union for 5 years. I have had multiple personal loans, multiple car loans, personal accounts, and business accounts. Everything has been great and the rates are way better than my old bank. And we love Danielle! She helps us with all our accounts and always promptly gets back to us with any needs we have.

    This bank is garbage. Employees playing with their phones while customers sit in the waiting room for hours. Slowest Customer Service Ever. Even with an appointment you have to wait 2 hours average. The "App" and "Online Banking" are useless and when you call they never answer the phone. Just the worst.

    Can NEVER reach a human being on the phone because they don't offer a voice prompt to speak to someone. They are fully aware of this. Branch manager Jose claimed it's due to lack of people wanting to work in their "call center," but it has been like this for over a year now. They never informed customers that they had previously transferred all their credit card business to Suncoast Credit Union who closed my zero balance low fixed interest rate credit card for lack of use. II found out when I went to use it. Guardians "claims" I was notified, but I never received notification. They're under no legal obligation to do so but wouldn't it have been nice to give me a courtesy reminder to use the card or it would be closed like Citi Bank did? Branch manager Jose offered me a slightly higher fixed interest rate card but when I was contacted later to confirm my information I was told the interest rate was more than he quoted and that it would be variable, even though THREE TIMES Jose said it would be fixed. It's pretty bad when a branch manager doesn't even know his products. I'm done with Guardians!

    Remeber that commercial that had a random stranger babysitting a bag of money and not stealing it?? We'll I had a SAVINGS account I didn't visit too often.. I moved and forgot to change my address and well what do you know? Guardians charged me 5.. (FIVE)! DOLLARS each month for like 13 months because they got 1 return piece of Mail they sent me. Took 5 dollars a month in fees. They were able to reimburse a few of the months but it was still unexpectable. Finally closed this awful account and I feel great about it. Had issues accessing my account, minimal hours, can't reach anyone for customer service.

    App doesn't work properly. Can't even get Zelle to work. I called customer service and when I asked her to wait so I can pull up my account number (via the app which wasn't working properly) my daughter falls she starts crying I spend 2 seconds to console her and the representative hangs up... woww..

    Horrible experience with these workers at this bank, I come to open up a savings account, and as soon as I walk in a got a dirty look ,and once it's my turn to go into the Account managers room she is rude and non-chalant, and just overall trashy with tattoos all over her body, she barely asked any questions, and put all my information in wrong, so I said I need somebody else to help, and boy the next girl to help me was ever worse, just nasty rude attitude, I told them to cancel the process and I went elsewhere, they seriously need to train these employees on customer service, and try not to hire all the staff working there from the hood, You can definitely tell some of these girls belong in a bar or strip club.

    My first car buying experience was amazing and it would not have been possible, without the help, guidance and instruction provided by Jose and Rich. Jose facilitated my loan, he made sure I was aware and well informed of every step he was taking throughout the entire process. This was my first car buying experience and I was nervous I may be taken advantage of at the dealerships. I expressed my concerns to Jose and he referred Rich to help me at the dealership. Rich met me at the dealership the same day and we got to work getting the best deal for my dollar. Rich wasn't overbearing, he let me navigate around the dealership, lead the conversation and when I found what I wanted Rich took over and bargained the best deal. I couldn't have asked for 2 better people to assist me in my car buying experience. I will recommend the services of Jose and Rich over and over. If you are looking for a great auto loan or a professional advisor for your car buying experience, I urge you to call Guardians and ask for Jose.

    Arrived just before opening, waited 15 minutes and was fortunate enough to have Paloma assist me with my financial needs. She was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient and within 30 minutes I was leaving the CU with my auto loan docs in hand with an awesome rate! I will definitely recommend Guardians to all I know!!

    There really should be a 0 star rating. I can’t begin to explain the frustration with trying to get the most simplest of tasks done at this bank. My wife and I did a mortgage application and the rep assigned to us was probably the most unhelpful person that could’ve been assigned - took long to reply, short answers, seemed like a chore to get information out of her, even after we explained we were new to this whole process. An unexpected expense occurred and they refused to lift my ATM withdrawal limit, even for a day. They said they cannot do that for anyone. I thought the point of going to a credit union was to avoid the hassle of a big bank and get better service? I’ve never gotten good service here. Then I did an auto loan application which took them 2 1/2 weeks to call me back on after I attempted to reach anyone over the phone and spent countless hours on hold to never get anywhere with anyone. When they finally called me back, my concerns were never addressed and the complaint I filed on the website through the contact feature was never followed up on. I asked the lady “I did this over 2 weeks ago, do you think the car is still available? Because it isn’t since your company has taken so long to get back to me.” Now here we are, a day before closing on a house and I went to another location in royal palm that had nobody inside and I was told I would have to wait to speak with someone. I signed in on the tablet and was told to wait in a waiting room that had 3 other people in there (no social distancing being practiced) who all had been waiting over an hour each for the same rep. All I needed to do was a wire transfer and after waiting over 45 minutes, I left. I called the main branch and spoke to another unhelpful rep who explained that I would need an appointment to do the wire transfer and even if I did it today, the processing cuts off after 2pm and won’t get done until tomorrow. It’s been one customer service nightmare after another. I never get an apology, there’s no explanation and most of these complaints were pre-Covid. I have a day off this week and I’ll spend it gladly canceling my account and withdrawing all my money and never looking back. An absolute nightmare. Providing 1990’s level service in the 2020’s. I’m surprised they still aren’t on rotary phones.

    I’m an account holder and can never get ahold of anyone over the phone. I have experienced fraud on a Saturday and no one answers the fraud line. I’m so done with this place.
