With the rates being so low, I decided to refinance my home. I filled out a form on-line and got responses from several lending companies. But no company or loan officer compared to Guaranty Federal Mortgage or Joel Rose. He was very informative and walked me through several options that best fit my needs and what I was trying to accomplish. He knew I was busy and allowed me to call him late evenings at 10PM, he was always there. This is my 5th home and 3 refinance experience and this one by far was the easiest I have ever experienced! For what its worth, this is only the 3rd time I've taken the time to leave an internet review. The reason I'm taking 5 mins today, is because I'd like for everyone out there to know how much I appreciate the Guaranty Federal Mortgage team. I also want to publicly acknowledge Chris Peck and his expert team for all of their efforts. My wife and I recently completed a cash-out refi to payback $100k in remodel expenses. With interest rates on the rise and my reduced income during Covid, I was really nervous that I wouldn't be able to structure a deal to pay off my outstanding debts. All it took was a simple phone call. GFM quickly evaluated my situation based on the information I provided (income vs debt, and estimated appraised home value) and got back to me immediately and assured me that it made sense for us to refi. From that point forward, they were extremely responsive (and this is going to sound ridiculous), but it felt like they were holding my hand throughout the entire process to guide me through the necessary steps to ensure that we met all the required deadlines. This is the second time I've had the wonderful opportunity to work with the folks at GFM and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to my family and friends. This wasn't my first refi, but it was absolutely the best and easiest I've ever done - I'll never use another lender to refi again. Jesse Henneman was so easy to work with, from start to finish. He always explained what documentation they were looking for, and why they needed it, which allowed me to come up with possible alternative ways to demonstrate what the underwriter needed. Very reasonable to work with. I shopped around, and GFM matched all of the best rates I was finding - super competitive. But they blew everyone else away on closing costs and time to close. This might not be a representative timeline for all refinances, but from the day I got in touch with Jesse to the time the closing notary turned up at my doorstep, it was exactly 2 weeks! He also knew some great tricks of the trade that got us through the process very quickly. I will recommend these guys to absolutely everyone!
