Great American Title Co Cypresswood Dr, Spring

These people helped us complete a real estate transaction recently. Though ours was a bit complicated, they never lost their patience. They were ready to answer our questions, of which we had many, and completed the process in a very reasonable time frame, even given numerous hurdles. I would definitely seek their services again if needed.

This people isn’t professional at all, first they call us to return back to sign some missing pages, then they never give us a copy of what we signed I had to call them, don’t use this title

I'm surprised to see that Great American Title does not have 5 star ratings. I've worked with them many times over the years and have excellent feedback. The branch manager is great along with the escrow officers and assistants there. Nice office, convenient location for the Spring area, etc. Would recommend to anyone to give them a chance!

They have always done outstanding service with me and my clients.

If you are a masochist, enjoy working with incompetents and like to be treated with disrespect, you will enjoy the closing process with Great American Title. They are a Great rollercoaster ride. Specially if you are lucky enough to use their office located on Cypresswood.

This is this third time I have closed at this location. Very professional and friendly service. They were very helpful in my last closing and I am very grateful.

When I bought my house, we used this company, and they had some paperwork mishap. That was in 2016, so I don’t remember the specifics, but we had to wait in the signing room while they changed documents and reprinted them so we could sign - then we’d get a few more pages done, they would find another error - and make us wait again. At the time it was a bit annoying, but not insanely so. Fast forward to 2019, when we are selling our home, and our realtor suggests using the same title company, since they already have our file. We agreed. Now, we find out how awful they are. Closing was scheduled for June 3rd, but they contacted us on the 3rd that they were not ready for closing, paperwork not in order, and it would have to be delayed 1 day. Since then, each day, I’ve been contacted saying they have to push it back 1 day. This has gone on for about TWO WEEKS now. I am writing this review on June 17th, and we have not closed yet. Each time my realtor tries to contact them she gets vague answers, no one there is on top of anything, they won’t answer her calls or respond to emails. Financing has already gone through on buyers. The buyer’s realtor is apologizing profusely, as is our realtor, because it’s out of their hands. This title company is so disorganized and disrespectful. No straight answers have been given about why it’s delayed or what can be done about it, everyone on the sidelines is just baffled. Do not use this company. So, if we ever close on the house, I’ll come back and change this review to reflect that. If they can’t get it together this week then we’re just going to find a new title company to switch over to, even though there would be another waiting period. This is beyond ridiculous.
