Before arriving at TitleMax, I inquired with a competitor about their rates and was surprised to discover rates of 350%+ for loans. For example, $1,000 loan required~$300 mo of interest, not including principal. This set a bad precedent for a first time title borrower. I quickly headed next door to TitleMax and mentally prepared myself to hear the jaw dropping interest rates and the last bit of resolution for hope with it. To my surprise, I experienced the complete opposite. When I arrived at this TitleMax I was immediately greeted professionally by Filomena and Rita, who were happy to assist me. I ended up sitting down with Filomena, who advised me that in order to obtain interest figures, I needed to first complete the application. The process was fairly quick, considering what’s being processed. After being approved by underwriting, came time to discuss numbers. Well, not much talking since the figure she came back with blew the competitor out of the water. To put it simply: I was able to borrow more, for the less than what the competitor was charging for on half of the principal. As soon as I heard the rate and monthly payment, I pulled the trigger. I just needed to sign some paperwork (esignature) and boom, funds were transferred to a Visa debit card. Overall a pleasant and rewarding experience for being in an unfortunate predicament.

I am an actual TitleMax satisfied customer. Starters I would like to say I never had to do a car title loan ever in the history of my existence. I've always have heard horror stories about people losing their cars and paying 300% interest on these particular place. So I've never been a fan of them, I thought they were predatory and they capitalized on the vulnerable and the financially irresponsible. This place they did try their best to help but when I had a rough time paying my loan mrs Rita decided to have the worst attitude towards my husband and my mother in law treated them like they were nothing didn’t even wanna look them in the face just strait told the other girl don’t help them just get their keys. Without knowing the issue but since Rita knows it all here I am 3 family members dead later still have to arrange funerals and with my left kidney failing me at 43% trying to keep my vehicle word to the wise don’t get a big loan in the middle of a crisis cause god forbid Rita will come for you like the fukin grim reaper. As if the loan came out of her personal bank account.
