    So far, so good in terms of account access and terms. Financed the purchase of a sectional through Ashley Home Stores. Have made a payment online, establishing the online account. Have been called twice by the company. The first time the message said it was imperative I call back. I did and left a message but no one called back. Several days later, received another call while I was working and attempted to arrange a more convenient time to speak but the caller didn’t seem to understand and no one has called since. Yet.

    BEWARE. This company is designed to screw you over. If you’re going to finance through them please be careful of their tactics. Call a PERSON (press 6) to get your actual “promotional balance” (if you have 12 mo 0% fin). The website is just a confusing estimate. If you’ve made multiple purchases you have to pay directly into the account that expires first. Otherwise your payment will go 50% into one and 50% into the other purchase. This means that even if you owed 500 on your first bill and you pay 500 in a year that is not all going to your 12mo promo, it is getting divided to make sure your bill is never payed on time therefore forfeiting the 0 interest. BE VERY CAREFUL. Sometimes even if you call to pay directly into the first purchase (as I did), the rep will get mad at you and not make that adjustment. I call four times before someone confirmed that they did it. By the way, THERE IS NO WAY TO CONFIRM THAT THEY MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS. They tell you they send a “ticket” to their IT department and the their accounting department but there is no proof. When I’m doubt call three times over the week before your bill is due and ask the rep to read the communication log. This company is helpful because it approves you for big purchases but please be careful. It already preys on people who do not qualify for a primary lender. Be smart and advocate for yourself and you won’t get scammed.

    Umm . They say the third time is the charm..This company was great when I first bought but the second and third time purchasing was a nightmare. This time around they ended up pulling my credit all over again and creating a second account . The first two purchases are on the same account. All purchases made in the same year within months of each other. The girl I spoke to , who returned my call 12 hours after I left a voicemail, was clearly annoyed with me. I don’t feel like a valued customer. She could use some freshening up of her CS skills. After my accounts are paid , which will be soon, I won’t return nor recommend.

    Buyers beware! This company was deliberately setup to fraud anyone that patronize it. A set of living room furniture was finance for me in August 2020 which I supposed to pay for 18 months. I made the payment within 12 months and there were no statement for each payment and no receipts. GAFH sent to my Bank that I have fully paid and to all credit company and the company was removed from my outstanding debt. Only for GAFH to post to my account that I owed $1622 in May 2022 because my balance remain 7 cents in September 2021. Please shine your eyes, don't do business with fraudulent company....

    Customer service is pretty slow. Had to cancel an item and was told it would take about 5-7 days for it to be credited back to my account, it is going on 3 weeks and still not back on my account nor have they answered my emails requesting a status update. Overall not a bad company but the customer service needs an upgrade.

    Stay Away!! Worst experience ever!! Every time you make a payment the balance increases. My account is setup for automatic payments but my balance continues to increase every month. I am finally fed up and will pay it off today, last month the balance was 1088 today it’s 1180 when my payment is due on the 15. I am posting more than the minimal payment every month. They are scammers and crooks!!

    I had a 90 days same as cash no communication or notice of where to pay until my payment was late and the 90 day offer was recended and I was stuck with late payment. I caved and took it in the shorts wasn’t worth it to me to spend a bunch of time with no guarantee of a positive outcome. will have it paid off next couple of months. If you have other options use them NOT GAFC

    I had been trying to call for weeks, but couldn't get an answer.... until I FINALLY spoke to Ms Watts. She turned my bad experience into a very pleasant encounter. She answered ALL my questions (and I had many). She was very knowledgeable and gave me pointers on how to pay my accounts off faster. I am thankful I was able to get financed and get my furniture even if I had less than perfect credit. So happy to be a GAFCO customer!

    Doesn't answer customer service messages, Magicly Declined my pay off payment (that I have used to make every payment) causing deferred interest to accrue onto the account. sufficient funds in the account and high enough limit on the card to make the payment.

    I can’t say this enough. Stay away from this credit company. They don’t ever answer phone calls. It’s been a month trying to contact them about billing issues. Left voicemails and nobody returns phone calls. They will continue to charge you even after you have made all the payments. So the best is to stop payments through the bank. They will continue to steal from you if you let them. Once you have made all the payments they will continue to charge you further. Shady as hell. Absolutely unprofessional. I have initiated a complaint at the Attorney General to report them.

    Y’all believe every horror story you’ve heard! They would get 0 “stars” if there was an option. Even though they advertise as 0 interest for 12 months, they still charge a percentage of your balance for borrowing money from them. The “0 interest” applies to delinquent payments. So, even though you’re paying on time they still charge simply for borrowing from them. Also, you can’t go into your account and make a payment the day of. They always schedule at least 3 days ahead! Note that they basically never want you to pay your balance off before time. I had a balance of about $200 and scheduled a payment to pay it all off and I noticed that they only took a portion. So, I went back in to pay of the remaining $50 or so left over. Again, I can’t pay it off day off and the earliest payment day is in 3 days so I choose that option. I noticed they didn’t charge my account and guess what? The remaining $50 is accruing interest! Mind you, I haven’t defaulted on paying. (Remember, they charge you for just using their services!!!) They didn’t complete my payment as scheduled. So now, I scheduled another payment because again I can’t pay it off day of. My payment is scheduled for Feb. 11 which is the earliest date possible. I’ll report back with any updates. Honestly, it doesn’t matter how broke or in need you are, there’s no way this greedy company can help your situation. They’ll just further put you in debt. It’s not worth it! Look elsewhere.

    I purchased a bed through Ashley Furniture December 2021. I was able to use GAF CO to make payments. I had a great experience with them. I made sure to review the terms & conditions to ensure I was meeting the promotions terms & conditions. They call within 3 days of purchase to also go over them. I will say, make sure you make your payment 5 days before the due date so you don't accrue late payments and/or interest. Watch your account closely & you'll be fine. also.. I would not trust auto-payments to be taken out on time. You're better off manually entering them.

    Even though i needed it, had been putting off a refi because I hate the paperwork I knew would be involved. Had tried a couple other companies including my current mortgage holder but couldn't get what I wanted. After hearing the ads on Mark Levin radio, I tried American Financing. True to the ads I was hearing about American Financial, they jumped on it and within less than 2 weeks it was done. Team Hank were tremendous! Went far above outstanding service. Especially noteworthy was Kelly who actually worked hard to pull this through. Their process is painless and the communications superb. My thanks and appreciation to "Team Hank". Have already made several referrals?

    If I could give zero stars I would. Don't use this company to finance anything. You 12 months interest free, but heaven forbid if you get sick and cant work. If you miss or defer 1 payment they say it voids the contract and it allows them to back date and charge the interest. Asking questions to the reps, (if you get through to someone) they don't know the answer. Don't waste your time. Use your bank if you can.

    I am frustrated with Great American finance. On two separate occasions I have went online to make a payment from my checking account. Both times I’ve contacted customer service about 3 days later when the scheduled ACH payment does not come out of my checking account. No one can seem to explain why. Thank goodness I’ve always pay ahead and more than the amount due otherwise I would have late payments. Trying to get through to someone in customer service is a nightmare. Calling different numbers, the phone just rings or I get a voice mail and never a return call when leaving a message. I am starting to believe that all of this is a ploy to force people to acquire late payments therefore being charged fees and interest. This is the first and last time that I will do business with this company.

    Unfortunately they make you give a star rating or I would NOT have given one at all! They send you super confusing paperwork and when you call to get clarification you get told one thing by that person and when you call again to verify your account and payments that have been made they tell you something completely different! Then you try to call to get more clarification and then they stop answering your calls! This company is a SCAM! They tell you the finer things and leave out the important parts! Get financed somewhere better and avoid the headache I am currently dealing with!

    I've been trying for 2 weeks now to just make my monthly payment. I've tried to pay online but neither the customer rep I spoke to or I could get that option to work. Now I can't get anyone to answer the phone even after leaving a vm for a return call. I value my credit history and would like to avoid having this account appear as if I pay late.

    My Dad received call from Mr. Saul @ Great American Fiancé regards to bed my parents purchased paid off early my Dad Always paid way more then usual payments however last cpl weeks fraud(another company)against my Dad’s Financial institution as suggested by his banker closed acct etc.. His banker informed my Dad hd 30 days to inform creditors etc.. in which we started long process during which time my Mother took bad fall is bedridden Thank God recovery is good yet between Dr visits etc got caught up mind you my Dad had sent last of payments to Great American Finance so check Wasn’t done on purpose, yet they not bank this company charged him measley $25 fee. Wow Really??? They were Only creditors to do this.Smh, My parents are Always on point with their business matters however pass months bn hard sudden loss of my baby sister, scammers trying ripping parents off, my Mom recently accident, Yet my Dad handle his business my Dad explained about being scammed etc… he cut their little $859 + their measley $25. My Dad will Never do business with this company Ever Again. To 🤔 we were looking into purchasing livingroom set & another bedroom for guest room. NOT! We will take our money & business elsewhere. Whatever happened to good business etiquette? They could’ve done Better by this Wonderful Veteran.

    If I could give one star I would. At first the company was great, I had 18 months interest free, and paid on time every month through automatic payments, the final month they withdrew the same amount as the rest of my installments which was $46 more than what the final installment was. I called BEFORE the final installment was processed and instead of the woman making an adjustment to my final installment she just answered my questions and was on her merry way. So I called the day after the payment was taken and spoke with a gentleman and he was RUDE! and at the end of the conversation said your refund is already being processed, then to call back 3 weeks later and the refund was just processed a few days ago over two weeks after the second call… THEN, come to find out they don’t refund your money through the same channel they took it, nope they send out a check! Again information NOT provided on the second call. So, you have to call and make an adjustment to your final installment if it’s more or less than your recurring payment. Then, there’s no need for me to get upset I’m getting my money back is what this customer service rep told me, lack of training and professionalism! Horrible horrible place to do business!

Got couches from ashley furniture and set up automatic payments to pay it on time and even earlier than the 12 months interest fee that they told me about and they still charge interest and so many different random fees! You gonna end up paying double what u signed for. True scammers!

    Horrible company! I used this Company to purchase furniture from Ashley Home Store in October 2020. I received a 12-month Same As Cash Promotion. However, I've been charged over $570 of interest. I called Customer Support and they said they couldn't help me. "Nothing we can do." Seems pretty shady if you ask me. I still have until November 2021 to finish paying it off for the promotion. We shall see how it goes. Don't have much faith in them honoring the promotion. My credit report also doesn't reflect the true amount paid off (over 50% paid.) And will NEVER use this company again. Avoid these people!

    I highly recommend that you choose another option when it comes to financing anything!!! this place is a scam and a rip off and it will hugely impact your credit score avoid at all cost or it will cost you They have made extremely false reports that I haven't made payments and that I owe them a higher amount than I actually do they refuse to report the positives for an extremely long time the company needs to be put into the garbage
