I got thrown to this company when I had my roof done. I was first with a lender that worked really well with me. When I signed off on the work I suddenly get given over to Castle Credit instead. Absolutely nothing but trouble. Had my payment automatically taken out each month, for some reason they charged me outrageous fees each month, telling me I paid late. I dropped auto pay and started paying direct. Paid early, and I also paid more that what was my set payment every month. Guess what? Still charging me a fee, almost half the amount of my actual payment !! This month their website isn't working. I've had a problem of some kind each and every month ! I'm going to check if my credit union can take over my loan, because Castle is ripping me off. Now, their reply is always the same no matter what questions were raised as you can see as you read these comments. Not a happy camper here !

The worst experience ever I was scammed emailed and sent them my information on paper work that was wrong . Paying $360 monthly so I can refinance my home which I was being consistent. the agent calling them told me they were giving her a hard time I couldn’t refinance my home which would have benefited Castle credit so I can have wiggle room to pay . On top of that the letters / calls because I later on had no job and was given them whatever I had left pretty much left me with nothing. Keep harassing me my mortgage is more important to pay 💰 I will never believe you . PLEASE BEWARE OF THEM !!!! I should’ve known the minute they showed up in my job to sign papers I should have said NO !!! They deserve no stars !!!

These people are scam artists, and are almost open about it. They approved my credit for a water softener. The local company didn't install it right, tried shorting me on the equipment the softener comes with, and when I told castle about this botched install, they genuinely old no care less. The local company tried EXTORTING me when I informed them their services were sub par, by saying it wud cost 1600$ cash to remove the water softener. (And politely reminded me "or else it will effect your credit" if I didn't pay him to remove it) castle is a joke, don't fall for these con artists. They'll cut your hands off, while politely asking if you can clap louder

Do not allow them to scam you. $88.01 in interest and $2.86 in principal. I regret this so bad. I wish I would have googled them. Please do not use this scamming agency. I make my payments on time and the debt keeps increasing. I cant believe this is legal. Class action lawsuit?

Castle Credit are criminals and loan sharks!! Putting liens on families homes—ridiculous! They will definitely make you a modern day slave and a prisoner. Slam the door on any salesperson trying to sell you a water system that uses Castle Credit. Trust me-you won’t regret it! Guard your credit!

BEWARE!!!! For the past 8 years they have been reporting negatively on my credit report as if the account is still open. They harass you, they threaten to continue reporting wrong on your report unless you pay them. I was just a co-signer, and the home with the filtration system was sold a year later. They refuse to fix this on my credit report. I would like to add: That they report falsely on your credit which is illegal per the Fair Credit Act. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!

The Worst and luckily I cancelled , due to the fact I received poor customer service, confusing guidelines, I finally was able to make a purchase at Ashley HomeStore through this company, I called and could not figure why I never received a confirmation but received a contract. I called to cancel out because I knew I was heading into trouble. When I spoke with SUPERVISOR GREY first he told me my order was to low in price, but I stated but my contract clearly says I can charge $50.00 and more.. I am out be Leary of these folks

Give up calling already. I'm not picking up the phone. When I made a payment, which I was assured that was done after taking out a loan to pay that payment, YOU AGAIN REARED YOUR HEAD EXPECTING MONEY. Guess what? I don't have any. You sent it to collections, let it go. I'm not calling customer service, I'm not ever giving money to you again for ANYTHING. Let it go already. You'll never hear from me. Stop the harassment.

Finally finished paying for a whole house water softener and filtration system and then my credit score drops almost 75 points. I had no issue with Castle Credit until then. It was easy to make payments, though I will say that you will end up paying way more than the equipment costs over the term of the loan. It being our first house, we were happy to get into it, and I can’t blame CC for the practices of the company that sold us the system, but it is said that birds of a feather flock together. I called CC months ago advising them that they reported my account closed instead of paid in full, and the person I spoke to advised me that it couldn’t be their fault. After talking for a bit longer and explaining that that had been the only thing that could have impacted my score in that way, I was told I would get a call back. It has been months now and I have heard nothing. Fortunately, I have not had to make any credit-dependent major purchases recently, but I’ll be purchasing a vehicle next year. So now because of this company, it is possible that I’ll have to pay more. For new homeowners, don’t get sucked into the whole house systems. Many years later and a whole lot wiser, I can tell you that there are significantly cheaper options. And if this is how a company is going to screw you over, don’t do business with them. 2 stars from over 100 reviews says a lot. STAY AWAY!!!

This is in regards to the Emtek water filter system. Everything was wonderful in the beginning. The water system does work perfectly and we are satisfied with it. We have had it for a couple of months now. They definitely tricked us with the financing though. When the rep first came out to see us, he told us that there was a free 30 day trial and then we could proceed with financing if we would like. The also states that there were several different ways to lower the cost of financing. IE: if you have a family member in the military, keep a detailed log of changes you see since using the filter. He stated that he would follow up in 30 days to get those item and to lower the total finance amount. Low and behold, we never heard from him again. Great system; but be aware of their sketchy sales pitch to get you into financing.

Great company with great employees! Everyone I met was professional and sweet genuinely wanting to give me and my family the best service. The water filter system they installed has done wonders for my skin and enlightened my shower experience. 10/10 would recommend!

I started dealing with this company back in 2011, never an issue. Then in 2019 payments stopped being automatically taken out so I figured i was done. 3 months later they call me telling me I'm 3 months behind and need to pay in full plus late fee. June 2011 to September 2019 is 98 months. But I have something saying it was a 93 month term. that's 5 extra months and they have nerve saying i have only paid half of what was owed. That water machine was $4000 payments total $8800. Call me 3 times a day, everyday for almost 3 years. DO NOT go through this company unless you like being bullied

Scam I called before the 30 day trial to have it returned and they wouldn’t take it back. I’m proceeding with a lawsuit soon to sue them for the amount they want me to pay. They definitely tricked me. I won’t be paying for anything. I paid 2000 last year to get ahead on my payments suddenly they put all the charges back

I can’t wait to pay off the loan.. We got a water softener two years ago. And all the payments LITERALLY goes to the interest because it’s SOO high. I should of gotten the softener from somewhere else or with another company.. saving up to pay the loan

I bought some furniture with a deferred interest promotion. The customer service was amazing. I decided to call in all my payments and got the personal extension of Allan that always treated me patiently and happily, he helped me to make a payment plan to payoff my loan before the 12 month. The worst experience ever! STAY AWAY I paid my mattress off in full. I started receiving call saying I owed a balance of $70 I called and was told that I did not owe the balance. Everyone acknowledge that I paid it off. Several weeks later I get a notification on my credit report that I owe Castle Credit $70 dollars. Called in got Stacey Smith she told me "no one from Castle Credit sent anything to the credit agency and I needed to call them myself and dispute it." I then explained to her that it had to be reported by CC because who else would have sent it? I then asked to speak to a supervisor...Ms Smith informed me that she would transfer me but the supervisor would tell me the same thing. After being on hold for 7 mins...... Ms. Smith came back to tell me that because i made the payment online they were not aware that I made the payment before I was supposed to. She then went to tell me that I should have called in. I told her already that I called in twice. She then told me that the supervisor was going to reach out to the credit agencies to get the payment removed but did not know when. I would need to reach out to find out. I as like well I need this in writing she continued to speak over me basically I had to reach out to the credit agency. As I am writing this I have been on hold for another 7 mins. As I requested to actually speak to the manager. This is the worst ever. In these times no one should be without a job but the customer service SUCKS! This is a real post! Smh! And the collection agency for CC is calling me right now to say I owe this money. I mean do BETTER.

Hello - DON"T use this credit. We have had our loan paid off for over 60 days and they are still showing on our credit. We were current on our loan and now they are reporting us as late but the loan is paid off. Find another loan company.

I have a zero interest contract for a period of 12 months. I have my initial loan amount that is an incorrect statement that was sent through the mail. I have additional fees charged to my balance for "interest" which was not part of my contract. The lady in costumer services told me I am not getting charged when clearly I am. She told me to keep track of my payments and gave me a different balance amount that did not reflect neither the paper statement or my online account. THIS COMPANY IS COMPLETELY FRAUD. Update: contacted customer support and sent an email. NO RESPONSE.
