GenoaBank Monroe St, Sylvania

Bank sent the title for a vehicle I purchased to the person who no longer owns said vehicle, instead of my bank - the new lien holder. Now I have to run around and make sure that I catch the seller, process the title work and then take it to my bank. The seller already came into my bank and singed a power of attorney to process the paperwork. When I objected to the process and stated that this is not the way it should work and if that's their standard then I would never do business with their bank. I was very surprised to hear a happy and snappy OKAY in reply instead of simply saying yeah, sorry, that's the way it works here. I was courteous and polite but not happy. Not sure why the representative thought it would be acceptable to be rude.

Kim Kandik is the best! She goes above and beyond for her clients and communicates very well! We would not have made it through our new construction process without this lady! Highly recommend her to anyone seeking a banking loan! Awesome person!

This is an amazing bank, the lead customer service representative Taylar Ault, she is amazing very helpful and respectful I will always recommend this bank to everyone I know.

I would not suggest banking here. With so many other banks to choose from in the Toledo area, save yourself the energy and bank with someone else, because the conflict resolution at this bank is laughable. Not only were we charged twice on our final car payment, but when we confronted the assistant branch manager about it, she was unapologetic and made it seem like it was a complete burden that we wanted a refund. When I called to file a complaint to a different branch, I received a phone call from this location's branch manager, who started off the conversation with a sarcastic tone saying "I hear you've been complaining about us to other branches." This is not how you speak to customers. It's 2016. Customer service matters. Get with the program and at least be kind and understanding when these things happen so that it's easier for customers to get over their inconvenience.

Worst customer service and experience I have encountered at a bank in a long time. Tried to pay off my home equity loan 3 different times. Onec in person at a branch and twice via phone. Called branch again and just got arguments and a new balance owed. Not at all the customer service they try to project in their advertising.

We are a very small company. They provided excellent service and were instrumental in successfully processing our SBA PPP loan at a time of extremely high demand. All of our correspondence has been handled with care and promptness. Highly recommend.

We have been to many banks over our lifetime, and we are so pleased with the service, friendliness and practices of the Sylvania branch of Genoa Bank. We never have an overdraft because their system always posts credits before debits. Fifth Third Bank does just the opposite. You can receive multiple overdraft charges for $5, $12 charges that may have accumulated in the short hours before a paycheck goes through. Genoa always gives their customers the benefit of the doubt. I don't ever want to bank anywhere else!

Horrible customer service! If you own a business I would recommend going to a bank that actually knows business terminology! I'm tired of calling customer service to make this bank do there Job
