Gem Pawnbrokers Allerton Ave, Bronx

Went there today. My experience was GREAT! Carmen, Stephanie and let me not forget Ray...lol... where all very pleasant. Make you feel very comfortable to talk to. They explain everything very detailed and take their time to give you a good offer. This was my 1st time at this location and left very satisfied. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Idk how i dont see anyone of these reviews are talking about how they arent even willing to look at your electronics even if they might sell or at least its how my experience went. I then asked to look at the xboxes and they had a xbox series s that they were selling at scalpers price meanwhile at this time period the series s is actually the ONLY system available being sold at retail price and its at least 250 on ebay used.... I guess youll be able to find other things though so idk but just being realistic

Amazing service , Kiara has a wonderful spirit and brings joy to the customers. She is very helpful and friendly . She works really fast and had me out in no time . I really appreciate her service :) the only thing I don’t like is the guy who decides the prices likes to low ball and that’s not fair to us the Customers. I brought in a really expensive pair of sneakers that is more than $600 and he try to give me $50 for them I don’t appreciate that and I know that’s not Kiara‘s fault .

My experience with Ada was refreshing, after a long day a work, tired and a little famished it was great to interact with her. It gave me that extra push of energy and a smile. It’s not common anymore to find an individual who deals with society and it doesn’t seem as we are bothering them. Environment always clean and no question is to silly to ask about merchandise.

Stephanie ia AMAZING.....she knows her job and she is very compassionate and thorough. She doesn't get agitated no matter how much you require of her time. She is truly a godsend. I stopped in about 3 weekends ago to sell some Js that are going for 150-175+ online easy and she says “they can’t take them” after going on the internet and doing her research I guess. Yes, they were tried on inside my house but still like new with receipt as I explained. Fortunately I sold them on eBay for $143.00, so it’s very funny how people try to play you like you’re stupid.
