    We have been banking with GECU over ten years, we have personal accounts, loan, credit card and our business account with them. This last year has been nothing but problems. Everyone makes up their own rules. Supervisor at Rojas location told me it all depends on how she's feeling. They decided to close our business account without even sending us something in writing. We found out when we tried to use our debit card because it was declined. Their excuse is that they can't handle all the transactions we make. A friend of ours also got their account closed for not making enough transactions. We try to withdraw funds and they only want to give us small amounts. Change banks if you can. At least somewhere you don't have to talk to someone through a computer.

    GECU has changed significantly over the years. Speaking to their customer service is terrible and they refuse to admit any fault. Calling GECU is extremely tiring. Without getting into specific details I asked one of your reps to send me documents proving their point and the representative was only able to say well your welcome to come into the location and see my computer screen. I have no confidence in GECU and putting my money in their account. I have documents proving my point from GECU and they basically said those documents should be ignored and I should come see them in person.. It doesn't make a lot of sense, why would I ignore the documents GECU sent me just because GECU is incapable of admitting fault. I would respect them more if they were able to just say we made a mistake but let me remedy it for you. They did no such things. Its a huge disappointment.

    First time at the GECU Viscount branch. Do whatever you can to avoid this GECU in particular. After waiting outside, I am sent to an additional line inside. I was then sent to card services because I needed a new debit card due to mine expiring. I finally get to the front of the card services line after a good 50 minutes, for the guy at card services to tell me that their card making machine has been down for a few hours now and to come back in three hours? No thanks. I wish some of the people in this branch used a little bit of common sense and they’d stop wasting their customers time smh

    I am truly disappointed to write this review I have been banking with GECU for ten years. This is the first time I have received horrible service. I was treated disrespectfully, which goes against the GECU customer service standards. My interaction with the supervisor Bernice from the Rojas branch will be a unforgettable one. She is such a rude and unprofessional employee. No one with a supervisor title should act in this matter. Through this experience I truly thought about changing banks just to avoid this type of service again. I have decided against this and I am going to avoid going to the Rojas branch again. Nonetheless GECU please educate your employees on customer service.

    Trying to buy a house has been the worst. The employees are no help. Zarate was horrible. She literally did nothing. And still can’t even get this done. Takes too long to respond and to get things done. Said I wasn’t able to get approved alone because my wife and I need to apply together. LIE. A month later someone else got involved and I instantly got approved with a Conventional Loan. Turns out she didn’t even try it. Hard enough finding a house we like now to deal with incompetent people.

    Always used GECU for direct deposit, car loans and personal loans. To make everything easy and today I waited almost an hour waiting to ask for a personal loan just to be told I can't request one at location. I go online to ask for one and need to provide a proof of income. I used to like to get loans from them because the direct deposit with them took away some of the hassle of getting a loan but now I literally had to go somewhere else instead.

    Service is notoriously slow. Not sure what is going on here. One guy running 5 lanes of traffic. I would prefer management hire more. The centralized call/teller center should have saved millions with that concept. Time to hire 2 more tellers (at 15 per hour) at the cities busiest branch.

    Worst service ever. My moms trying to deposit her social security check and is asking for money back. They had no problem with that request when she open the account, but today she needs to wait 15 days to have access to her money. I guess they feel elderly and people on tight budgets should have to starve and have there utilities cut off . I wish this thing had negative stars . Then when. We asked to speak to a manager Michele acted like she was and declined and acted like they where doing her a favor by waiting. Frank was able to help and get things done but that happened after threatening to close the account.

    Has a bad experience on 11/21/2020 moved my son's account to my bank. The lady at the teller was dumb and the idiot manager PETER was even dumber. Now I know why I never banked there. You suck GECU!!!

    I would put less stars if possible, i had an issue with a payment i made for my house mortgage, i pay frome gecu to house mortgage lender, the thing is that the checks that my mortgage lender gets come from wells fargo with my name, i don't have an account with wells fargo, i came here asking for answers which I didn't receive, bad service, the teller told me that she couldn't help me if I didn't speak English, completely disappointed i would stay away from this bank doing sketchy stuff
