The staff is very helpful, professional and friendly. They greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. Carlos always salutes me whenever I go there because I am a disabled veteran. The ladies there are so nice. They know their stuff. I always have an Awesome experience ever time I go there.

Friendly Pawn is my neighborhood shop, just around the corner from my home. I don't shop there routinely, but when it's time for a laptop for me or a family member, they're my first stop. I had such an experience recently, but there were no laptops for MONTHS because of the high demand by those setting up a home office or outfitting their kids for remote learning for the first time. Undeterred, Assistant Manager Lincoln Payne and the customer service-oriented sales team there went into action. They called around to their sister shops for weeks helping me track down a suitable laptop. That brand of buying support just doesn't exist at the average brick-and-mortar shop! Ultimately, I got a great buy on a nearly-new HP which had all the features I was after! I highly recommend Friendly Pawn and especially give high praise to Roxana, Carlos, and Juan, all of whom pitched in with Lincoln to locate what I needed. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry as well as small appliances, electronics, and power tools! The folks at Friendly Pawn live up to their name!

Yes brought Gucci chain from here 22.6 grams come back and want the 10kt hooks chain out to 14kt hooks cause chain was 14kt send out with them which is National pawn 3 weeks later it came back one hook look like it was buff out to remove 10kt wasn’t switched out the other look like the repair person carved 14kt in other hook I was so disappointed and also 2 ounces of gold was missing I sold the chain back which I got only 600 and of course I paid 1,025 dollars for it but they would resale it for 1,400 dollars when they put it out customers please be caution u spend your hard earn money to be rip off twice sad the jewelers are not honest there crooks

Me and my 15 year old son went into Friendly Pawn this evening with very heavy hearts. 3 weeks ago, my husband walked out on us taking pretty much everything we had. He also caused me to lose my job, meanwhile I have 3 boys to support, 15, 11, and 2. I went in and was absolutely blown away at the customer service we received, the most heart warming and so compassionate. The best part, I watched the interactions between the employees and different customers throughout my visit, and it was consistent across the board! This place saved is the absolute best and because of the excellent customer service I received, my boys will be able to eat a few more days then expected :)

Really a well run place. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Lincoln and Carlos got me taken care of and on my way with no trouble at all. I highly recommend this location and it's staff.

I really appreciate the Manager Bill, Ana and Lincoln at Friendly Pawn. I have shopped at a few of the National Pawn stores in Durham for guns, jewelry & electronics. This store is by far the most polite, helpful & understanding of them all. They’re not just about making a sale. They really want you to be satisfied and keep you coming back. They seem to really enjoy doing their job. I have decided next time I need something I’ll check here first. If they don’t have it they’ll try to find for you. Thank y’all so much 😃
