Folmar's N Monroe St, Tallahassee

I went to the shop at the capital circle NE location and was greeted at the door but that was it. I never was asked if they could help me find anything. I did see a pistol that I was interested in but no sales person around. I thought prices were on the high side.

They are always helpful, fair pricing on watches, guitars and more. They also have a very reasonable surcharge for check cashing, and never deny a specific type of check. I highly recommend this place to do business at.

Helped me pick out a ring for my GF back home. Staff was super helpful. Prices are good. Large ring selection. They were really nice to my dad and I. Enjoyed the experience overall. Only gripe was the smell of cigarettes inside though I don't know if it was from someone outside or the staff. Not enough to stop me from coming back once I save up a little more cash. Great musical instrument selection as well! Will definitely be back.

If I could give this place a 10, I would! I don't write reviews but I felt the need to this time. I was looking for a double-din radio for my wife's car and I found one at Folmars brand NEW still in the box. The price was already marked down below the retail, but I asked if they had anymore wiggle room for a discount for the item and they did. They gave me a few dollars off the already low priced item. 😀 They have a big selection of car stereo items and good quality laptops. Try them out, you won't regret it!

Their slogan is "more than your might expect" and it is true. Very friendly staff. Nice facility. I saw a big inventory of jewelry and guns. Saw a few people purchasing guns while I was there so they must have some good pricing. I got a great deal on some merchandise and will be back soon. A great local business.

I use to like this place until a friend fathers gun grip got changed out. What a dishonest business! I hope she and her family make this a big deal. Her family had to pay a private detective in which that person did an awesome job especially by getting FDLE involved. You'll are busted and I can't wait to see what she plans to do next cause all the proof is present. She has the before picture and the after photo with a lot of information. I have never did a google review but I had to because of what happened. Not only that I have seen the gun several times and even the day she went to your business. When she picked it up she came to my house The local police department she could have called but she said she had to prove the change. Wow, fresh prints were all in the grip and inside the gip. Her prints were not on that section and especially under the grip. Be very careful with this pawn shop. You can't trust them! She does not do social media but I do and want everyone on Facebook to know what happened. She ask me not to do it but I have to because she and her family are awesome.

I have been a customer with Folmar for over 10 years. Not only is there staff extremely friendly but they offer so many options. They work with you in your time of need if needing money or extra time to pay off your loan. Their new app on the phone is great when u need to keep update with your loans and the ability to pay at your convienance. My recent experience was with Justin and Whitney , One of my friends had put in a pawn and was going to be sold on the floor I was able to come up to Tallahassee to visit and get the items off the floor and put the loan into my name where Justin is the one that assisted me with that understanding the circumstances he was extremely helpful. When I wanted to go ahead and follow up with Folmars in making a payment that is when I had my interaction with Whitney where she told me about the application on the phone and I found that extremely helpful my final experience with Justin and Whitney was about a week ago where they knew unfortunately I was unable to carry the item in which I was picking up and here both of them went out of their way and made sure that I got the items Safely into my car. I then got a follow up from Whitney again via text reminding me that I had other items and that there was a survey for me to complete which I wanted to do for the customer service at FOLMARS especially with Justin and Whitney were extremely phenomenal. I would highly recommend FOLMARS for items that you may be looking for that you cannot buy in retail stores if you’re looking for some quick cash to be able to put your items on layaway or if you’re looking to put on some items. Either way you will not find a better and more honest location than FOLMARS.

Folmar's is an honest pawn shop with friendly staff and good prices. I walked in with the intent of just looking, but I ended up purchasing something on account of their sales promotions. Folmar's is the only Pawn Shop I care to do business with in the Tallahassee area.

The staff at Folmars is extremely helpful. They make customers feel comfortable and not rushed. They give friendly advice and they are very knowledgeable about their services that they provide. I highly recommend them to friends and family. 100 percent.

Brought in a .38 revolver and Folmar's gave me a very fair price for it. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable and made the experience very pleasurable. While I was there, I bought a golf club pull cart for FIVE DOLLARS! Wow, this place is the best!

Always something new to see at the N Monroe store or at the SE Capital Circle store. Easy transactions, very clean & uncluttered store. Staff has NEVER EVER been rude to me in the 5 yrs I've been coming here. They ALWAYS stop what they're doing w/in a few mins to help me look at something in a case whether it's jewelry, guns, video games or whatever.

I had to special order a rifle and a handgun and they made my experience effortless. Great customer service! The only place I will buy a firearm. Also, when my Wii died, I just bought a used one from here. It was in great shape and is still working!
