As so many other reviews have stated here. We first talked to Shawn to see if he could beat the rates of USAA. We were skeptical as who would have thought he could do that. BUT FLAT BRANCH BEAT THEIR RATES BY A LOT.. Shawn, Jenny and Angelica were an awesome team to work with. We sold a home in Washington State 2 years and have been traveling in our 5th wheel since. We decided to buy a house here. Because of us Traveling we didn't have a lot of the documents that we needed. But Jenny and Angelica made it happen. This team goes above and beyond to help their clients. The nice thing about this bunch. They are actually actively involved in their communities. I really like Shawn Cordry. We have similar personalities, and I feel like him and I are very like-minded. Jenny Bordwell was great to work with. The entire process worked like clockwork, and it was due to having her as the Underwriter. Both Shawn and Jenny were very responsive. I could count on both of them for answers and also to let me know how things were going through the entire process - from pre-qualification to closing. If I ever need another real-estate loan, I will definitely go to them again.

I used the Waynesville office even though I was buying a house in Springfield, MO. Flat Branch was quick to respond to me. They always answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I had zero problems, closed on time, and the money I owed at closing was even less then they estimated. My dad recommended I use them. He always recommended them to his potential buyers when he was realtor for 21 years in Waynesville and he also never had a single customer have an issue with Flat Branch. They know what they are doing here and they do it well. I had an issue finding a lender because my house was for an EXTREMELY low price. Flat Branch was one of the only lenders that would lend me such a small loan. Every other company told me the loan was so small there wasn't enough money to made for them. Flat Branch Home Loans was recommended to us by a realtor that we had worked with in the past, that home purchase did not go through for silly reasons. On this next home purchase attempt we actually approached two other well known lenders before looking into Flat Branch. But once we did Shawn and Jenny made the process so very simple, they didn't require near the mountain of monotonous paperwork the other lenders said they "needed" and Shawn provided a loan rate that was head and shoulders better than the banks we had approached.
