Bryan is FANTASTIC! Walked me through the whole process, so I wasn’t confused for one minute. As a first time home-buyer, someone like Bryan was a necessity for me to finish this process in a timely manner. Bryan went out of his way to get this done quickly and even made sure that I closed on my new home a week before my original closing date! From the day of placing my offer to closing, my whole process was under a month. Incredibly impressed.

Worst experience EVER on construction loan. DO NOT use First United Bank for your construction loan. They froze my account with ABSOLUTELY NO notice because of my builder. It took two months of jumping through ridiculous hoops and a lot of money to get them to turn it back on. All the while, I was paying their interest fees while I had no access to the remaining funds to finish my house. My house took so much longer and more money to finish because of them. DO NOT USE FU BANK!!!!!

His exceptional good. Very honest and you won't have to worry about hidden or surprise fee or charges. That's why I've used him several times on buying houses.

If you are looking for a great local bank to service your loan, First United is the only bank I’d recommend. Incredible customer service and dedication to closing a deal quick. I would bet they were easily ready for my closing date in half the time as any other bank I have used. I also highly recommend Bryan Carroll. I’m sure FUB has some really great employees but Bryan is a home run. With the way real estate is right now, there is no one better to have in your corner.

I had an excellent experience with First United. This review is based on my experience with Kenneth Janz, my mortgage loan consultant: I really appreciate Ken's communication the most. I was prepared for an unpleasant experience (not from Ken himself) but due to the nature of massive amount of information required and always being worried about pushing through the finish line with adequate paperwork, scores, savings, income, etc. My last experience was challenging in that regard. But, through Ken’s guidance and communication, I was able to approach the situation with a much more clear mind than I have in the past. He helped level set my expectations and handled every step with the process with utmost professionalism. As you know, there are so many moving parts to the process, and to a layman, it can be quite overwhelming. Ken is really great, and in today's society, where "consumer feelings" many times is pushed to the wayside, Ken is a perfect example of someone who gives it to you straight.
