I've worked with a few lenders in different regions and I must say Dominic (Dangora) was the most communicative, and highly efficient team. I didn't have to upload the same document repetitively. Dominic and the team have also sent me little quirky and interesting housewarming gifts which was a delight because I have not received anything from other lenders. They understand the VA loan, I've reached my decision after Dominic and I had a short discussion with a virtual desktop conference which was extremely transparent in my opinion, national lenders cannot beat this.

Got the clear to close a week early! The Bursch team is exceptional and are very tentative with what they do. Would recommend to anyone looking for a smooth home loan process.

You know that feeling when you're tired at the end of a long day, where it seemed like the entire world was conspiring against you, and the last thing you want to do is make dinner? You open the fridge with zero confidence and then, BOOM, leftovers that you had forgotten about to save the day! Well, that was Cornerstone for us. We were beaten down after a 14-month build that in the last 2-weeks our original lender said we were no longer qualified. We were down bad, but then we found Cornerstone (credit to our realtor Kieran Zepu w/Chamberlain realty. Just like the leftovers, they saved the day, and it was such a simple process! I encourage all to allow Cornerstone to provide you a home to come home and enjoy the leftovers you had forgotten about!

We worked with Sam and his team for financing our new built. Initially we reached out because of our builder’s relationship and perks of using preferred lender, but it was quickly evident that they work differently than other lenders we have worked with (not our first rodeo, clearly). We were not used to the thoroughness and detail that they required. We loved the portal access to upload information. Were we initially a little peeved at how much information they wanted to have? Sure. Mostly because we never had to do so before (good credit and hx of credit) but once we processed our own anxiety and stress that comes with building a house and realized that they are doing a thorough job; to make sure the last detail is handled before it’s too late at the closing table, we were not annoyed anymore. We did verbalize our concerns to Sam and he handled it very well and very professionally. Once the initial file set up was done, it was amazing. We had a dedicated team. Weekly communication, always available staff and access. They are such a polite and efficient team. I gave recommendations to another friend who is going to start building in the next year. Our closing had an issue because of an error on our end (our mistake not their’s) but they still worked with us to try to help in anyway they could. Absolutely and incredible team to work with for our first mortgage in 2018 (30 year fixed), then a refinance in 2019 (20 year fixed), and a third refinance in 2021 (15 year fixed @ 2.75%). I live in KCMO but somehow this company in Oklahoma City was able to help us get refinanced. The process was an absolute breeze. Our previous refinance cost us a couple thousand dollars but Cornerstone waived some fees and rolled others into the loan so that not only did it not cost us anything up front, we actually somehow got money back at closing! In 2019 Cornerstone Home Lending did our first mortgage and it was seamless, so easy to work with and everything was on schedule which was super important since we were moving from a different state. This year 2020 we refinanced our home loan for a much cheaper interest rate and again the service was great. We are so thankful that we have had the opportunity to work with them two times.

Cornerstone made our home buying process extremely pleasant! We had our original plans fall through with another bank because of some late information. We only had two days left to make an offer on the home and Cornerstone stepped up to get us set immediately! We went through what they call a Rehab loan. They were willing to answer any and all of my questions with this complicated process. They were constantly in contact (through e-mail, text, or phone) when needed, which made the whole process go a lot smoother. The only complaint I actually have (and it's related specifically to their handling of this type of loan) is that I wished that they would give more of an official packet for the rehab loan with official rules, documentation, and FAQs. It would have mitigated some of my questions earlier. Overall, I would highly recommend this company for a loan.

We were able to do everything over the phone and email, and closed with a notary coming to us instead of us having to go in to the title company. We went through the approval process twice with Cornerstone Lending. The first time was in person, however the 2nd time happened to be as businesses were shutting down due to Covid-19. I am happy to say that Angie and her team were amazing and everything was smooth sailing, even if we never saw them in person! I loved the ease of their online system to upload documents and their communication with us was great as well! If there was any issues or extra documents needed, we would receive a text or email. The whole process was flawless and really took our stress away! And we found a perfect home!
