horrible customer service, representative.but poorly trained. no one seems to have accountability for providing accurate answers. online tools don’t work. ineffective processes. member since 1986. with a lot of money deposited there. still poor service. no matter how painful i’ll be moving to another bank.

This credit union is trash. Save yourself and bank anywhere else. They used to be good but the last two years, mobile banking doesn’t work, you can transfer your funds, they did a random credit review that lowered a large percentage of their holders credit limit and put a lot of people over credit limit and severely impacted credit scores. I tried to call in about not being able to transfer funds and you go through an automated messaging system for it to just hang up on you every time. It has been a complete nightmare. The fact that I moved to another city and literally pulled out cash because I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get to my funds is sad.

Horrible customer service. Called on 2 separate occasions weeks apart about same issue, each representative saying that they had reported the matter to the department that handles such issues. A follow-up call weeks later to find out status of the problem, and rep said they have no record of either of my calls; she says she'll report the problem but she has no idea when they'll get back to me. Go elsewhere for your financial needs

I would absolutely not get any type of loan from this institution. ZERO customer service and they'll screw you over first chance they get. Find another credit union!

I absolutely love First Tech FCU. Great CU with friendly people and of course, happy to be away of the big banks

Got my debit card here, good service. Most bad reviews seem to be the one in a million who hated it, and since there's only 18 reviews (at the time of this review) it seems like they get a bad wrap. We came on a busy day and didn't make an appointment so it took a while but we expected I to take a while since it was a Friday and we weren't making an appointment, but that's fine. Would give it five stars but I try to reserve those ratings for things above and beyond. I suggest this bank. 👍 Nobody really rates banks on Google maps so most people here had an above and beyond experience or had a really bad experience, but it's a good bank.

You know what is interesting. After people find out that this is the bank that is mainly for the people that like to take care of themselves and are intelligent. Aggressors get mad because the employees like to focus on the customers needs, rather than using them as a pawn. They are better at persuading than manipulating, which is hard to find at different banks. I witnessed someone get their vehicle stolen across the street at another bank which may be the reason why this bank is being targeted because of jealousy and envy. I have actually been in Roseville since the 4th grade, and I am now 28. I have had friends work here and their is a reason why I have stayed at First Tech Federal Credit Union rather than switching to another company. The security does not play around with anyone, they will handle any situation.

Policies changed due to covid19. Can't even walk into the branch! Have to call ahead on their neverending-on-hold corporate phone number that's handled by 3rd party servicing that don't know anything, to make appt to withdraw $!?! This place needs to be investigated.

Staff are always kind and outgoing. They always go their longest length to satisfy their customers. I will never go to a bank again!!!
