First Republic Bank Camino Del Mar, Del Mar

Simply said, excellence in banking. After 30 years of mostly frustration I finally decided to move banks. A couple of my friends suggested First Republic and from my first visit I knew this was the right place. Yes, lots of detail work setting up new ACH accounts, but well worth the time. Already looking at more of their services and they sure make it easy. Excellent people who really care who they work for. Dolly has been great to work with. Thank you, First Republic.

I got to Del Mar and spent half a day walking into a few banks and it felt very institutional. I was asked about my needs then shuffled out as they just weren’t able to help me. As I walked down Camino Del Mar I saw First Republic Bank. When I walked in there were a few people already being tended too but it felt more like they were visiting friends. The staff was incredibly kind and it had such a positive energy. I was greeted by Saba Lak, she offered me a chair and we chatted about my needs. I have recently purchased a business in Del Mar and being from Canada I wasn’t clear on the banking rules. She explained to me they too wouldn’t be able to help me. The difference was, she picked up a phone made a few phone calls and got me lined up with a fellow banker at another bank to help me get what I needed. She completely went above and beyond to help me get the service I needed. Once I’m settled here and able too, I will be opening my business accounts with them. Hands down a great experience and I would recommend her to anyone looking to open an account. 🙏🏻

It's like the way I imagine, Steve Jobs , always kept his bar high. He simply, hired the best in the business. At first when I started banking at First Republic Bank in Del Mar, I couldn't help, but fall in love with my Banker, but the other two lovely girls, always had a big smile, and a big hello, and it didn't matter who's client you were, you were everyone's client. It was actually fun, as time when on, to go catch up with the girls, cuz now we are all Ohana…..but this last Xmas, I personally spoke to some First Republic Bankers, whom I had never seen nor met, and I heard what pride and gratitude they had, working at this little (big) bank. I heard how grueling the interviews were ( couldn't top the 5 stewardess interviews tho) , and how each employee that is picked, is picked with great thought….and there you have it. Just what my dad used to say. Pick the very best employees , pay them as much as you can, and leave them alone to do their job. Getting back to Apple, First Republics Brand , works. You know, if you go in any branch of this bank, anywhere, you are going to get First Rate Care. You go to Apple, Google, Oracle, and you know, you are dealing with the best of the best. To be such top notch BANKERS, who I guess it's a prerequisite to be beautiful inside and out too…they take care of you with ease, and grace,,,….,yet they can throw a heck of a party. And they are exactly the kind of people you love at a party….along with their amazing clientele. They know about our lives, and they actually care. Keep it up. Don't change a thing. And Lahn, if you ever move, remember, I have passes and I will follow you.
