They are the worst bank you can work with. They will tell you you are approved but once you find the equipment you want to finance they will not even answer your calls. I have been working with Jesse Moore and my experience has been the worst not to say that I got a call from someone called Ben he said Jesse want not in the office and he was taking his files. All the time said they will call me with a response for the finance and never did. I am the one calling and they not even answer. I have never write a review before but this really deserves to be here so people know the bank they are going to work with or at least the employees and the way they work with customers. If you can please go with another bank if you don’t want to lose your time. I am giving them 1 star since I can’t choose zero !

Well I have story to tell.... I'll make short lol.. So some time last year I received a call from Edward Powers.... and Round one happened and even though Edward and I did everything we could to gat an approval we where denied an approval. kinda of a bummer right especially when Edward was extremely helpful man he went above and beyond man we got very familiarize even with things that happened tu es in the past. OK; story is getting long but well what can I say!!!!! this Dude AKA "Edward POWERS" did not let me off to go some where else he called me back just as I looking for another bank and got to say "YES" to round two.. and really not thinking much of it we went at once more. after 3 weeks or so and after emails and god knows how many calls Mr. Edward Powers made it happen and I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. OK I'M done lol Edward Powers..... Thank you for all of your very very hard work, you went above and beyond on making this lone possible. I just hope you have great management that can see just how hard you work. I was impressed from the start. I was impressed for several reasons, but I'll summarize the highlights. I discovered the Bank of Cardiff from a direct mailer. They sent me a letter in the right time. I had been going through a terrible, 2 week long experience with Wells Fargo, just to be told, I was denied. Knowing the state of my business, length of time as a business, and credit worthiness; I knew something was not right. It was very obvious; Wells Fargo was "dangling the carrot in front of me" to get me to open checking, savings, and a line-of-credit. They were trying to "up sell" and use my ultimate goal (of getting an equipment loan) as leverage and I didn't like it at all. All I wanted was an equipment loan. Had they simply given me one, I may have had a good experience and eventually changed my accounts with them over time. The Bank of Cardiff's mailer advertised there would be a 48 hour approval. Through that 48 hours I had to send documents and such, but that is to be expected. I was always dealing with one person and there was an approval within 48 hours. The continuity with dealing with one person was great. Nicole, was my contact and she did well with speedy communication, listened to my individual needs, and worked fast. She understands, that when a small business owner needs to upgrade equipment, to meet the demand of his/her growing business; there shouldn't be any delay. Nicole and the underwriter both talked to me over the phone. They listened to me and assessed their risk and my credit worthiness. I didn't have a computer algorithm discriminating against me. I had real people using human discretion, to determine their level of risk with me. --I don't believe Wells Fargo does this. They didn't with me, at least. If the Bank of Cardiff continues to hire good talent, maintain speedy communications with their customers, and follow through with their advertising; they will be a rather large lender. They will be able to take advantage of the inefficiencies and short comings, the major lenders/banks have. Working with Nicole and the Bank of Cardiff restored my confidence with working with a lender. It reassured me that there are people out there who know how to conduct business.

I have known Bank of Cardiff for more than a year now. Through all this time the staff have been very professional and kind, especially Dennis Sanders, who always strove to get the best available deal in the industry for my business. The fact that they work directly with the stone industry is definitely a plus. I expect to develop a long and fruitful partnership with them.

They are true professionals and a definite credit to their line and profession. An absolute pleasure to deal with which you don't get too often nowadays!! I applied for the loan, they verified my bank account then said that they will contact me. It has been over 6 weeks. No email, no phone call. When I call, no way to speak with a Rep, they are always busy and left messages but still no call back

Worst decision I’ve made to get financial support from this broker they put me in a horrible situation with daily payments I should have never accepted the offer. DO NoT take the loan guys the refinance option will be the same garbage as the first offer.

Recently got our semi trucks financed through Bank of Cardiff. Never thought we would get the loans approved at one point, but to my surprise we got approved . Not only did we get approved , we got very good interest rates considering this was our very first time financing an equipment. I don know how they do but my down payment was $1200 for a $50000 semi truck. APR is in 15% range. For the first semi truck this is great to start a business. Very patient and great service. Dealing with different lenders out there can be very difficult. As a small business owner finding a company to work with you in a fast and efficient manner can be almost impossible. Big jobs arise and funds at not be readily available to you in order to get the job completed as quickly as possible. Dealing with Pete Deegan from Bank of Cardiff was a very pleasant and welcomed change from dealing with some other companies out there. Pete was always very professional and always explained clearly what was needed. He was very upfront about everything and made my experience as quick and painless as possible. Being in a tight spot for a total of three to maybe 4 weeks he worked out a plan for us that will carry our business thru until our large reimbursement comes in.
