All I can say is what an experience it was to work with such a professional person as Kristeen! As it was the first home for my daughter she had a lot of questions and concerns and Kristeen walked her through all of it without any issue. A few problems did arise through the process and Kristeen was able to shift approaches quickly and still were able to make this a great experience for myself and my daughter. I found First Portland Mortgage to be a great choice for our refinance. They publish their rates on their site which is a great way of doing business to start with. Kristeen was our broker and she did a excellent job. Everything from deciding between a VA loan or a 30 Year and running multiple rate estimates. I delayed locking in the rate for several weeks waiting for the rates to lower and Kristeen was patient and kept me up to date. I called Kristeen on a late Friday afternoon to lock in my rate before the weekend and she took the time and I was able to get the lower rate. Kristeen will walk you thru everything, answer all your questions and explain what to expect next.
