First Midwest Bank W Bryn Mawr Ave, Chicago

I always had a good experience with Bridgeview Bank, and then First Midwest Bank. The people who work at this branch are superstars. The review is for Old National Bank as a company. They severely botched their merger with First Midwest. It's been absolute pandemonium to get anything done. To top it off, they have very limited phone customer service hours. Only 7am to 5pm M-F, and four hours on Saturday. You would think they would at least temporarily increase their hours when they took over such a large bank. I am closing my account as soon as I can.

The Branch Manager Patrick Heraty is a through and through neighborhood banker and runs this amazing location. Every time I stop in, it feels like family when I'm there. I couldn’t wait to get out of Chase due to the runaround I went through when I needed anything basic. Patrick has been a huge help with getting my accounts set up, following up on those accounts and working alongside me to make sure I got my signup bonus when that specific promo was running. I now have a personal checking account, savings account and of course one for my business. I knew working with a small bank would really change my life but didn’t expect this much- thank you all at 1058!

I just opened an account here and the customer service so far has been phenomenal. My personal banker Patrick called yesterday just to check in just to make sure everything was ok. I'm a self-employed writer; no big bucks here to pursue so there was no ulterior motive (i.e. let's get some more of her $$$!) Free coffee and friendly faces...it's all good.

My challenge was with the transition from First Midwest to Old National. Once I was able to speak to someone who knew what she was doing, the problem was resolved.... biggest issue was the almost 6 hours on hold!

Very professional service. They know what they are doing. Mr Patric help me out ver well. Best experience ever.
