First Hope Bank- Blairstown NJ, Columbia

The most incompetent employees for several years now. I work for a company that has several accounts with different banks- and I truly despise coming to this branch bc of how slow and terrible their staff is. I handed over several thousand dollars in cash after watching 7 cars come after me, get taken care of and leave, and 20 min later- she tells me she cannot give me a receipt bc her printer is broken. Where is the common sense here? Someone hands you thousand in cash and you can’t even think to give them a hand written receipt?

I went in to open a business checking account with a large deposit. The representative, Sondra, was rude and offered no help. This banks bank's customer service is stuck in 1970 when the banks acted like they were doing you a favor by working for you. Stay away. Go to PNC or Valley and be treated like a customer.

Garbage bank, with Garbage policies. Fees everywhich way. Far behind in the modern banking practices. Incredibly unhelpful. Couldn't count how many times they have tied my money up in beurocrcy

I use First Hope Bank in Great Meadows and love the people and the service. I have never had a bad experience, and their Kasasa service is AWESOME. I talk with people who bank with mega-banks about some of the services i receive and they're really surprised. it is so nice to be able to speak with real people who are local and know me.

I’ve been banking here for over 20 years keeping more money in my account than I should’ve I brought a deed there to be notarized and they wouldn’t even call over a teller to witness it They said I should find a neighbor or a friend to witness it after the fact I’ll be closing my account soon
