First Entertainment Credit Union Melrose Ave, Los Angeles

This has to be the absolute WORST bank I have ever dealt with. In so many words they stole $500 from my checking account. I have sent numerous emails, I have called several times and either no one knows what is going on or the manager (Jamie not sure of her last name or worker id she refused to provide) yelling and going back and forther with me as if I am not a client and doing business with this establishment. I have had an issue since Feb 28th and it is now March 11th and it is still going on. There is no communication as far as your account I'm not sure if it has anything to do with their new app but as far as knowing what is going on with your money you are not well informed. I havr turned on my notifications in all ways possible to mame sure I receive all information in regards to my account but that still does not help. If you value customer service and workers that speak to you with respect because your hard earn money resides in their care, this is not the bank for you.

when you call First Entertainment's telephone number the call will be directed to the LA branch. if you get a call, it will be from them as well. they are the worst for customer service! always RUDE on the phone. they will argue with you. typical banker attitudes. Tho, the Encino branch is amazing. They are Always friendly and helpful whether in person or over the phone.

Love this credit union! All the bank employees are friendly and helpful ... more like a family than a regular bank. Also fees are low or non-existant! They work WITH you--not against you. I also like the fact that the money us all local. I highly recommend this credit union over any big bank!

online transfer balance transactions kept getting cancelled. Call their number and it's customer no service and they never call back. Just leave minimum balance in this facility, they are horrible!

Without a doubt the very worst bank I have ever dealt with. A family member passed away and left me a few accounts at various banks. I have been liquating these accounts to consolidate the money. I have been going back and forth with First Ent CU to close my account and send me a check for over 2 months. These guys are jokers and don't answer the phone or return your calls. I liquidated an identical account with Morgan Stanley in less than 10 min and got a check the same week. Maybe you get treated differently if you are celebrity but these guys suck for the average joe like myself.

BEWARE: Do not trust your money with this bank. They have 0 fraud protection. Try giving them a call and see how long it takes for somone to answer the phone. What sent me away from them is If someone steals 1000$ from your account the only way you will be able to get it back is to fill out a form and wait 5-10 business days for them to review the fraud charge. If you needed that money to pay rent, you could get kicked out of your house by the time the bank regained control of your money.

**Unfortunately I do not recommend this credit union** Reasons: They DO NOT refinance their own loans. They do not go out of their way to help you or make any flexibility in an event of hardship that you may have when it comes to making a payment whether of your on time payment history. My husband regrets ever giving them business.

The worst credit union ever . And banking system . This place is trash !! And care full everyone that try this credit union they will mess up your credit !! Had give them a one star just post this 😂Daymm all bad .
